I found three bright white hairs on my head while doing my hair this morning. I’m not ready for this. How are you girls holding up today?

nam2013, I have SO many. It's sad. Also when I saw the thread title I though it was going to be someone saying it was snowing where they are!

Ooof nam2013, I have a patch right in front where these lovely, wiry gray hairs show up. Or at least I tell myself they are gray... I am okay with denial. |

Shiiiiiit if I didn't color my hair, my entire head would be white. It has changed the texture of my hair, too. I now have these whacked out waves I have to straighten.

So I got something in my eye last night and I woke up this morning with a red and angry eye. It doesnt hurt like pink eye, so I'm pretty sure it's not pink eye, just irritated. But, I'm still wearing my glasses, which I hate.

To both of those things Sorry about the snow confusion! I was startled by the with hairs! My mom started turning gray like 3-4 years ago and is still 75% blonde (about to turn 60) so I figured I’d have some time 😭. |

I started with the grey hair at 29. It’s very rude that my older sister has no grey hair yet, she’s 4 years older than me. But, her hair is also lighter than mine so there probably are some greys, they are just less obvious.
Yesterday we had H’s conferences other google meet. The teacher had nothing but good things to say, which was good to hear. Then I went to work, came home, and watched the bachelorette. I don’t know if I’m going to be all that into this season, it’s still to be seen. This morning it’s chilly so I am wearing my wubby pullover, it is so cozy and makes me happy.

They are saying we may be flurries this Sunday, which is bullshit. It's going to be 85 today, I'm wearing shorts and a tshirt, and this weekend, it will be cold enough to show.
I told Evie about going to get blood taken after I pick her up from school today, after we had dinner last night. I bribed her with ice cream since she was crying. I told her it would be fast and just a pinch, I hope they don't need a lot and make a liar of me!
My dad is having hip replacement today. Sucks to not be able to go visit him afterward.

 Not really, but I've just had a hard time getting on lately and it feels like I've been gone forever. Regarding Prime Day, I'm really concerned Jeff Bezos isn't wealthy enough so I had to check it out. We're getting another Dot. I won't admit how many we have, but we love them for the intercom and music and for $18 you can't beat that. I asked in the birthday thread, but they have an Osmo deal on there and I was wondering about other's thoughts. Cass asked for it. Not much else going on here. |

Add me to the gray hairs list. I have noticed a lot more in the past year. They aren’t too visible since I have highlights, but I have noticed them.
I’m trying to chill today because I put a nice dent in the birthday/Christmas shopping. I just have the bigger ticket items that I’m hoping to get Black Friday/cyber Monday. I got my ninja foodie last night, too. Sorry IP, but you are being replaced. I’m excited to try out the air fryer function.
Other than that, just work for now. I have laser appointment later, then M2 has speech. This may be his last session.

Gray hair club here, too. And probably 100 more after the our morning. I took all the kids in for flu shots and Ls well check. N was acting brave until it was time then she freaked out. H was already freaking out and then L started crying seeing them cry. I had to pin H down. Then L had 5 shots and a finger prick. It was quite a traumatic morning. And i got my flu shot first and honestly, did not feel a thing but that didn’t matter to them.
I bribed with ice cream so we picked up Culver’s for lunch. L never had a morning nap so I’m hoping being extra tired and vaccines will mean a super long nap.

We’re heading up north this weekend and they are calling for 1-3” of snow on Saturday. Not cool. Dh is super stressed because today is his only day in the office this week and now one of his employees is out for a Covid test and his other employee is on vacation all week, so there’s a chance we might end up cancelling. So now I’m finding it really hard to motivate myself to fold these mountains of laundry and start packing.

I probably have gray hairs, but since I get my hair highlighted/lowlighted every 6-8 weeks, I really have no idea.
My eyebrows, different story. Those gray hairs seems to grow faster than regular, and damn they hurt to pluck!

Yes you need it. Nothing disinfects the way boiling water does! I don’t have one anymore bc we have mostly hardwood in this house. But if you are mostly tile, then it’s awesome. |
