I love yours peachsmama! I think that crossover bodice will be super flattering. If I could change one thing about my wedding, it would be the b’maid dresses. I liked the color but would have done long instead of short.

Hi! I am full on Sunday in the fall today. First I went to Aldi this morning-first time in a grocery store since March. I only went for the Aldi finds cabinet for the basement (bc I didn’t think I’d get it on Instacart), but I super market sweep-ed all four aisles and spent an ungodly amount in 15 minutes. I stopped at our nursery for mums and spent the afternoon repainting a piece of furniture, making chili, and planting. I am exhausted and full, but happy.

I don’t think I’d skip a grade, mainly for many of the emotional social needs. Josie’s school does not have a gifted and talented program, but they pulled her for math and reading and let her work with the older kids once a week for each subject. There are always ways to make the academics “bigger and brighter.”

in randomness, the flu shots around here are out (they must be nation-wide, right?). Anyway our new pediatric practice is doing a drive by flu clinic for the kids. They don’t even get out of the car. They open the back doors, give the shot in the leg or the arm, close the door back up and send you on your way. I love the efficiency of it!

wedding eek! No C! On another note, my old guy, Denver, is 16. My furry fluffball has been losing hair like crazy lately. Doesn't matter how much I groom him he is losing hair in clumps. He otherwise seems fine. I'm going to make an appointment with the vet. Any thoughts or advice? TIA. I would have senior bloodwork done to check his thyroid function. That can cause hair loss. Decline in renal function can cause them to groom less which in a long hair cat often translates to clumps falling out because they aren’t keeping up with it.

C and I spent the day outside for the most part. We painted sea shells and then he played with the neighbors and I got together with their mom and another mom down the street. We thought it would be fun to chat before the first day of school tomorrow. They are all distance learning so we are in slightly different boats but all the same players really.
Im slightly nervous for tomorrow. The first day is distance learning for all and a really light day of work but I am scarred from last Spring and a bit on edge. I can tell C is a bit nervous too. Hopefully my work is slow tomorrow.

Welp E has a rash all over now. That’s what happened to C in May, mystery fever followed by a rash 2 days later. It was roseola. Will never know where it came from since he had not been anywhere for 2 months but the rash didn’t seem to bother him and was gone in 2 days. Hopefully, it’s just something like that for E.

My mom thought the same thing. I’m hoping the rash goes away quickly.

After work I stopped at the grocery store, came home and then took an hour nap with the baby. We were late going over to the neighbors house, but not by a lot and it was fine. Politics was brought up and I really didn’t want to go there because I know they don’t have the same views as me. Sometimes it’s really hard being a dem in a strongly republican state. A lot of times I end up being one of the only dems in the group. I just try to avoid talking about it. The conversation was civil and it was fine.
I don’t think I would let my kid skip a grade. With how big of age spans there can already be in one grade, I think it would be rough.

I was thinking roseola too chrisy01. B had it as a toddler and his only symptoms were the fever for a few days, then once it broke the rash appeared. Hopefully it’s not bothering her much!

It must be a bit regional too b/c I think we have the same wedding date and it was almost all long dresses around here when I was picking them.

It doesn't help that most of the people she knows don't want to just have a normal relationship--they constantly bring up politics whether it's relevant or not. It's definitely a part of Trump's cult. I never saw this before with other Republicans. I encouraged her to look into the local democrat organization so she might be able to make some friendships that aren't toxic.
