I'm currently at the office. I need to see if I buy some flashlights today since Laura is probably going to hit us directly. I'm patiently waiting an update at 10:30 for their predictions.

You guys... I need a break. Woke up with a tiny bit of a runny nose, but since noon I suddenly feel my throat, around 3 I checked my temp and it’s 99.5. Which could just be due to being pregnant, but still. I’m getting tested either tonight or tomorrow morning. I’m just so tired.

I'm taking the girls to the Children's Museum again today and that's about it for my agenda. I was really impressed with all their safety measures in place. They did a good job.
Later probably watching some shows while knitting. I'm making a lot of progress on a blanket I'm making for Maddie and I want to keep going.

inthekitty M downloaded roblox on her kindle, except she can't figure out how to work some of the games on there. I told her it was too bad you didn't live closer to us so your girls could teach her. She asked if they could call her. Lol.

Mh went to the dentist on Thursday. Friday he said he thought they gave him covid. {Spoiler}They didn't. He's perfectly fine, just a hypochondriac. |

I’ve been wanting to take the boys, but they stopped doing the reservation times so I don’t know if I want to. One part of me wants to thing they stopped because it’s not really busy. It took a few days for him to figure it out, but he was motivated because he wanted to play with his friend. |

Take it easy nam2013, I hope you get some rest time. I’m being safe and keeping the kids home tomorrow, until I get the test results. I’m a little bummed because I have an in appointment and this would be the one appointment that my kids and H would be allowed to come. If I’m lucky I’ll get the results the same day... ETA so between wfh & kids unfortunately no rest in the coming days... |

Not much happening here. My ILs are coming back today for a few days. It’s MIL’s birthday, so I need to find a cake so we can celebrate. The boys love a good birthday celebration.

Morning.
The kids are well rested which means that they are just so full of energy already, MH got them set up with reading and a preschool app so he can have breakfast in peace then he starts talking to the cat, like full on covo. Dude, silence is a GREAT sound.
Clearly the 'honeymoon' period is over that happens after tours.

He missed him!! 😂 I don't think we'll have to worry about flooding because of how fast it is moving, thankfully. The main thing will be wind damage and no power. They're linking it to the conditions we experienced with hurricane Ike. MH was without power for 3 weeks. |

I’m currently binge-ing Selling Sunset while folding laundry in my clean house (cleaning lady came yesterday). Kiddo is at school 🙌. Husband is working 🙌. And I’m enjoying the peace!!
When I pick S up from school this afternoon we are heading to STL because she has multiple appts tomorrow. Follow up with Neurosurgeon from surgery at 9, ophthalmologist with some testing at 11:00, then we see the geneticist at 2. Then we will drive 3 hours home. Whew. I’m exhausted already and haven’t even started all that yet. It will be a little bitter sweet and sad though because not only will I not be staying at my parents house (since they sold it), but I won’t even see them because they left 2 days ago for a long trip. They are heading to the Grand Tetons, then Yellowstone, then 🤷♀️. They are just enjoying the freedoms and will be traveling for about 2 months.

My girls' favorites are Adopt Me, Royal High, and Piggy. As much as the game annoys me it gets Cass, reading, spelling, and typing a lot. |

I still consider myself a beginner and make things like gloves, hats, and scarves. I started with one class and from there have gone the way of YouTube tutorials. You can learn everything from YouTube. |

Hi!
I've been catching up on laundry and housework, and my sister brought my nephew over for a visit. DH got home around lunchtime. We need to get some stuff for the house ordered (mainly kids' bath) so maybe we can tackle that.
My cousin is coming over for dinner again so I'm doing roast turkey breast and some sides.
