We took the kids to the food bank yesterday for kids' volunteering day. About 10 minutes into it M said "Mom, I'm tired. I'm looking forward to laying down."

Z has started looking over at w and saying "nuh nuh nuh nuh nuh" whenever he's doing something he's not supposed to do or something she doesn't want him to do.
I apparently do that way too much.

B has decided his little people train conductor is Maui. I get 'Maui took the heart!!' Randomly, repeatedly, all day.
I got these tsum tsum erasers from the target dollar spot - B has decided they are for sleeping with. The puppy got ahold of Minnie and tore it up. We told him we couldn't find Minnie last night. This morning the first thing he said to me was 'dada took my tsum tsum.'
B: I want my water Me: ask nicely B: Give it back!

We had deer poop in the yard and R said "Mom, big poop in grass!" Then pointed to her diaper and asked "RoRo poop?" ...she thought it was poop from her diaper that fell out into the yard.

Whenever M hears something excessively loud she puts her hands on her ears. C doesn't quite get the reasoning, so whenever she hears something loud she puts her hands on the top of her head.

Repeat indefinitely.

J is starting kindergarten tomorrow. The school has a handbook sign off form. I signed it, showed him where to write his name, and explained that it meant he's going to follow the rules. He gave it a long look, handed the pen back to me and said "I don't think I'm going to do that."

Haha my girls did/do this too. A is old enough now to get it so she does it even if L isn't around. L is terrified of loud nosies, so for her it is because she is scared, A just thinks it's hysterical

DH took O to the bathroom while we were at a restaurant. When they came back DH said that O had gotten pee on his hand and licked it off, and when he told him that was gross and not to do it O said "well Mom saw me do it and thought it was good!" No I did not.

M got up from bed and told me that she needed to poop because mangos make you poop A LOT. I think that it's been about 2 weeks since she's eaten mangos...

Nugget's just starting to recognize some colors, and has decided that the color orange is called "Carrots" and calls anything orange "carrots." Saturday we went for a walk and there was an orange car and she kept yelling "Car! Carrots! Carrots!" I attempted to tell her it was orange, but she would have none of it and kept saying "Carrots" louder and louder until I agreed with her.
Does my child have a future in politics?

Me: "now all the laundry is folded. H's stuff, M's stuff, and this pair of pants that is too small for M. I'll put them away for the next baby."
H: "you wanna have another baby?"
Me: "yeah! Do you? A baby brother or sister?"
H: "YEAH! A baby sister! Then we'll have TWO sisters. Then another, and we'll have three sisters! Then another, and we'll have five sisters! And another and another and another! That's a lot of sisters."
(I haven't told him about the new baby yet.)

Every day as I'm walking O to the car after school he asks, "Mom, am I still 4?" Yes, son, you're going to be 4 for a whole year!

She constantly asks me to drive past it and tells everyone that she'll go there when she's bigger. I'm pretty sure that her obsession is rooted in the large playground that is visible from the road.

DS has started putting his toys in timeout. He loves bossing inanimate objects around. "Race car, no pushing! Sit down!"

Took Nugget to the mall last night after picking up the car and while we were walking around a clothing store, she kept pointing at women's shoes and clothes and saying her name, like "that's for me!" She just started saying her own name and it's ridiculously adorable. Also, she calls noodles "noodle-oodle-oodle-oodle."
