My shoulders should look amazing when I wake up tomorrow right? This is always how I feel after I do P90X legs- I should have a Kardashian-like ass from that, right? That’s how it feels. (Narrator: she does not have a Kardashian-like ass)

Working from home again and my daily steps are taking a big hit. I just don't get up and walk around as much as I do in the office. Even with a 2 mile run/walk last night, I was still below 7000 steps. B: coffee w coconut milk, butternut squash ginger soup AM snack: caramel M&Ms L: Big ass salad with a grilled chicken patty D: Ham steak probably over salad E: Another walk/run this evening I’ve had to put a lot of effort into getting the same amount of movement WFH that I’d get in in a day on-site. What’s worked for me is to walk right before and right after work (my “commute”), before/after meetings (my walk to/from the meeting) and pacing my office any time it’s a meeting I don’t have to show my face or respond much to. I don’t know if any of that will work for you, but it helped me! ETA- I also use my Fitbit to let me know when I haven’t moved enough in an hour. I still go some hours without much movement but it helps as a reminder to get up and move if I can.

Thank you! That’s so nice really. I’ve got the knowledge to do what’s right but my mind is like no way let’s mess up! Who needs to eat? I’m resisting so far but fear it’ll leak out in other ways, and I’m just struggling with getting motivated since I’m not doing much. I paid the $99 for beach body hoping that will motivate me spending the $! Thanks again for the nice welcome! I hope I’m back with day two, even if it’s not in a row ha. Welcome!
What program are you going to start with?
Many of us have done many beachbody programs if you have questions
Thank you! I started today with day 1 of the 100 morning meltdown. Only 99 more to go ha.

It was a long weekend here and it was a shit show in terms of exercise and food, but oh well. Food was good today and I’ll get back into exercise tomorrow with a run if the weather cooperates.

I did a 20 minute ride with Olivia today that completely kicked my ass. It was the one from 7/19. I don’t know how 20 minutes was so hard but it was crazy. I followed that with Emma’s 15 minute Disney ride for a cool down. Did core on my own. Tomorrow I need to do a weight workout.

I’m listening to a new podcast that I’m obsessed with so I snuck away for a walk on my lunch break to listen to it. Also went for a 50 minute run/walk tonight. Food was good today. I also prepped some lean taco meat for lunches for the next few days. I could eat a taco salad every day and not get sick of it.

I did a 20 minute house ride with Jess King and then a 20 minute pop ride with Cody, both from last week. Finished up with a 10 minute arms with Hannah. I really need to work in more after-ride core or at least full-body strength but the only space where I can do it is either the floor in the family room or the floor of our shared office space/bedroom, and I just don't like working out in high-trafficked areas. This is why the bike is hidden away in the laundry room!

I took one walk at work today and did a 20 minute Denis power yoga tonight. It was a good one. I am pretty happy that I can still do chaturangas. He had a lot of push ups in there and I did them all on my toes!

Hi, I was camping without cell service until yesterday afternoon so I’m going to update my monthly goal now. So for August I’d like to - continue with intuitive eating, it’s been really freeing to not have to log everything I eat. - continue riding my bike most days. And on days I can’t get out then get a rowing and weights workout in - last month was super stressful at work and my resting HR went up and has stayed up. So I’d like to add in some meditation or yoga to get out over this stress that I’m still feeling

We had pouring rain today, so I’m glad I did my running yesterday. I did a 30 minute Pelothon ride and walked 10 minutes at school with a student for a sensory break. He walks fast so it was definitely a workout! I also wore my new tank that a woman in my Peloton teacher FB group made for me (PDQ): [\spoiler]

I ended up opting for dinner with the family instead of the live ride.
45 min hip hop ride with Alex 30 min pilates class
I signed up for a free trial of obe fitness for the week and tried a pilates class. I've been all over the place trying new platforms lately but I really liked this class. My glutes are going to be in rough shape tomorrow. I can't wait.

I got a run in between work and dinner. We are having a spell of fall like weather and it is absolutely wonderful to be outside. It was also nice to have my 10k steps done before dinner. 10 day streak.

We had downpouring rain all day, but it was so nice to have the windows open and get fresh air in the house without getting overwhelmed by heat and humidity. It was also great to be able to wear pants and a sweatshirt and take a break from my shorts and tank tops.

We did some hikes over the weekend and I was so impressed DS made it with almost no complaining, the second hike was a 450ft elevation gain, 6k in pretty hot weather. It took us about 2.5 hours in total with a nice break at the turn around point. It’s sad to see the massive drop in number of steps going back to working today but I did get 2 bike rides in

Race pace 5k, strength, and foam rolling today.
I held off on showering for a while because my bike was supposed to arrive, and I was hoping to get it put together tonight so that I could try a quick ride. So far, no bike.

Ugh, sorry keg. I hate it when a delivery is expected and you're all excited but then it doesn't show and the tracking app changes after 8pm to say "delay".

We are also having a nice fall preview here in OH. It’s cool this morning with very little humidity and I’m loving it. I’m going to try to work outside today as much as possible.
I have a lower body strength workout scheduled for this morning and I plan to follow that with ample foam rolling. My muscles need it:

H is out of town so I tried to get the kids out the door earlier enough to fit in a outdoor run; didn't happen. Will now run on my lunch break in 100 degree weather. good times today I see!

Woohoo day 2 of working out in the morning! 45 minute progression run with Matt W. However, I didn’t have time to dry my hair, but I have a 45 minute commute so now my hair is almost dry.

I think I’m trying the intuitive eating thing. Not gonna read about it just take what I imagine it to be a go with it. Nice.
I told dh yesterday I started the workouts and he was not super excited. He said just take walks with the kids. Yes because that’s sustainable making the go when ever I want and have it be at my pace.
I know he worried about me sliding back into problematic behaviors but like come on dude. Day one isn’t an issue. And he made cookies and was trying to get me to eat more than I wanted and I know it comes from a good place but stop now.
Day 2 of 100 morning meltdown and I’m looking forward to it. Gonna let the coffee settle then do it in like 20 min.

I just finished up Jess Sims 30 minute pop fun run. The playlist was fabulous. My uterus, hips, and baby were totally good with whatever I felt like doing. My legs, no so much. My arches have been tight and today my calves were pretty angry about it. I even jumped off about a third of the way through to stretch for a couple minutes. I did two 5 minute post stretches. I was going to do ten minutes of arms but my big kid started yelling for me. The weather is super nice today though so I'm going to get us all ready and find a playground I think. We need some outside time with less screens.

canteverremember, I also have an ED history (bulimia though) and what has helped me more than anything else is mentally separating my workouts from food/weight. It has been really freeing to finally work out because I love it and it because it boosts my mental health. I used to do it because I wanted to lose weight or look a certain way and it always became a slog and would sometimes trigger the ED. For about a year now I've been enjoying workouts without the guilt and it's been great.
