Oh my gosh, I need my family to leave me alone. My kids interrupted my 20 minute run four times and H called me to tell me MIL was on her way to "surprise" us. So the time I thought I'd have to squeeze in ten minutes of lifting proofed right away. I'm pretty annoyed, I felt amazing running today and wish I had gone longer, but oh well. MIL just left to take the girls to the library then for lunch, which works out because I have to do curriculum writing in like ten minutes anyway. B- egg, provolone, turkey sausage homemade breakfast sandwich L- salmon Cesar salad D- 🤷🏻♀️ S- caaaaake! Griswold turns 9 today and my kids really want to throw him a party, so obviously we'll be having cake for the dog tonight. Man, I feel this. Time alone is so hard to come by right now. And happy birthday to your pup! A birthday party and cake is the cutest!

I had a fantastic run this morning. I did Robin’s live HIIT run and ran at my fastest sprint run to date. It was also my 250th run and I got two shoutouts - one when I was dragging and it gave me the motivation to keep pushing. It was awesome. I got 3.5 total miles.

Hi all I’m trying to go here. TW
I’ll try to be quick. A few years ago in the depths of my ED, I was 95 pounds. I have since “recovered “ but I’m 125 and it’s getting tough to deal with all this other mental stress so I’m trying. To not slip into bad actions again.
Today I started 100 morning meltdown on Beachbody on Demand. I slightly modified a few things and thought I was going to die and don’t think I’ve ever seen my own face that red!
Working out at any pace helps my mental health too so I’m hoping for a bit of a change in physique. Not 95 pounds again but focus on feeling strong and healthy. Rather than esthetic goals which are more likely to trigger me.
So one down 99 to go! Lolsob.
Good luck everyone you are all inspirations I lurk this thread.

We were trading off so we could each workout in the mornings, but now I'm on my own trying to juggle them and get a bit of time to myself. Working out always makes me happier and less stressed, but today's workout left me more frazzled by the time I was done. Damn family, gah. And hot damn to 250 runs! I was hoping I'd get to 100 before this baby shows up but it definitely ain't gonna happen.

I’ve had the kids in the basement with me for 99% of my runs since Covid started and it’s terrible. I hate those days where I feel more stressed out after my run then I did before. I really hope we both find some time to ourselves again soon! And thanks! Also, the fact that you’re even close to 100 runs, most or all of which were done while pregnant, is a ridiculous achievement!

I’m still trying to convert myself into a morning workouter. However, I laid in bed and played on the internet for 30 minutes so only had time for a quick 30 minute fun run (I did Jess Sims’s Lizzo fun run from last year). I’m going to try to do some core later tonight. My trick to morning workouts: 1) Set out workout clothes in the bathroom the night before (shoes, everything). 2) When the alarm goes off, you tell yourself all you need to do is PEE. That's it, just pee. 3) When you get to the bathroom, turn on the light before you sit down to pee. 4) By the time you're done peeing, your eyes will have adjusted enough to see your clothes and you are like 80% more likely to put them on and go workout The true key is step 3 - no lights and you'll go right back to bed.

cnf my MIL decided to surprise us today too! She lives 2.5 hours away, so needless to say we were surprised. Arm and core day done. I may take my dog for a short trail run tonight (if she’s not busy you know). Can’t run too much because I don’t want to fry my legs as tomorrow is burpees and burst!

I signed up for the 90 day trial on the last day and it just expired and charged me for my first month. I'm bummed to miss a bunch of time soon. I'm such a glutton for punishment. I get really squirmy and high strung when I go long stretches of time without workouts. So you can all expect me to creep back in once I hit like 2-3 weeks pp.

I would for sure have been an even bigger hot mess when she showed up otherwise.

I take back my complaint about my MIL surprising us because she gave me like $200 in Starbucks gift cards (she’s a teacher and doesn’t like tea or coffee). Score! Perfect for my protein coffees.

I paid the $99 for beach body hoping that will motivate me spending the $! Thanks again for the nice welcome! I hope I’m back with day two, even if it’s not in a row ha.

Got up and did the yoga I missed yesterday (though, like cnf my free Peloton trial just ran out, I need to sign up for real), and then did a slow-ish, cross country 5k. I feel so much better when my workout is done before the day really starts. Kid pace walk planned for this afternoon, then yoga and a run (maybe walk) tomorrow morning.

My legs are sore from yesterday. Today is probably going to be a rest day, or I might do yoga when I get home. I’m not sure. I think I will be able to get a walk or two in at work (I have a 15 minute loop I do on slower days).
Food should be good. I put everything into MFP and I’m over on protein and under on carbs, which isn’t a bad place to be. Makes things easier when I don’t work until 7:30- having to eat at 4 am before early work days makes macros tougher (but I do need the food before I start my shift). I am later all week so that’s nice.
B- Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwich, cold brew with milk and vanilla
S-lentil/bruschetta/feta salad
L- lillie rainbow salad with chicken, grains, and feta
D- air fried salmon, TJs frozen creamy polenta, air fried broccoli
D-? Maybe a mini ice cream cone or a couple baton cookies

Working from home again and my daily steps are taking a big hit. I just don't get up and walk around as much as I do in the office. Even with a 2 mile run/walk last night, I was still below 7000 steps.
B: coffee w coconut milk, butternut squash ginger soup AM snack: caramel M&Ms L: Big ass salad with a grilled chicken patty D: Ham steak probably over salad E: Another walk/run this evening

This is perfect as i was just lookin for a way to stay engaged in losing weight. I need motivation and am definitely the type to need accountability, so i am going to use this board to keep me on track!
Reason for starting - want to lose 15 lbs total but current goal is 10 by the end of the month
Details - i actually started Noom two weeks ago and it really is working well for me. I’ve done WW in the past, but like the Noom process as well. I have a Peleton bike in the basement but also a treadmill and weights so no excuse for not working out. I’m an afternoon/evening exerciser.
Goals Work out minimum of 5 days a week - 30 min each Keep within calories daily Keep off alcohol during the week.

It is gorgeous here today so I got a pre lunch 6 miles done. The girls rode bikes and now we are eating. Salmon burger for me and even though it is summer, I put stew in the slow cooker for dinner.

Only three more hours left of this zoom conference. I am having trouble staying awake.
I was able to use the lunch break to hop on the tread and got in a 20min power walk w/ Olivia. That helped wake me up for a bit, but it has already worn off.

Did my MM upper body work out, which was very boring and 80% raises of some sort and 20% bicep. My shoulders should look amazing when I wake up tomorrow right? I switched out the core she programmed for one of Emma’s crush your core program workouts. Later I will try to get a ride in.

WFH now and I finally was able to do Cody’s Britney ride from a few weeks ago. So much fun. I also did my ab rehab. I am really going to like having the time to exercise middle of the day again.
