I did Chase’s 45 minute ab boot camp. Holy fuck was it hard. The running portions were brutal, ending with 9 minutes of hill sprints. But it was a terrific workout! I stayed on until I hit 3 miles. I’m really loving the boot camps.

I went for a run this morning and the weather was phenomenal and therefore the run was great. It was in the 60s and I ran four miles. I would have done more, but I had to be home so H could go to softball.

Happy Sunday, all!
I knocked my long run out for the week (2.5 miles) and used Wilpers' 30 min 80s Rock for most of it (2.2 miles) then listened to part of one song for the rest. I had to remind myself to stick to a slower pace so I wouldn't defeat the purpose of the run. Wilpers had those long stretches (songs) a PP mentioned, but it worked for what I was trying to do today. The temps being in the mid-60s was a welcome change.
So Week 2 of my half training is in the books.
Also, I lost the weight I had gained (probably mostly period/water) and another 2 lbs on top of it so I'm back in a new decade. I haven't been as good with all or as much water the last 2 days as I did have a couple of those mini-cans of Pepsi, but still pretty good all things considered. I'm definitely sticking with mostly water and tracking.

Just finished a 45 minute tempo run with Becs, and it was one of my best runs in months. I was about a minute/mile faster than my typical pace these days, and it felt so good! Maybe because I’m mostly a distance runner and this was a marathon training run, but it felt more natural to me than the usual runs. Now I’m thinking I can try the Peloton marathon training program when I decide to get back into race shape. I only do half distance typically but I bet I can modify it.

I did 10k this morning and it felt great. My pace was pretty decent (for me) too, which I was happy with- I was going for distance, not speed, but it was nice that it wasn’t too slow. It was the farthest I’ve run since the end of May, so I’m hoping I still feel great tomorrow, lol.

I’m down 2lbs from last week! My goals for this week are to add more healthy fats into my diet and increase my walking distance. To continue with the salads and cutting out sugary drinks.

This morning I did Cody's 30 minute groove ride from yesterday, and then the timing worked out that Kendall was doing a live 10 minute arms right when I finished so I joined that. I was intending to do a strength training but Kendall's tough so I figure her 10 minute arms are still going to be pretty good. Then I did a 10 minute crush your core with Emma.
Today is probably one of those days where no one is going to eat on much of a schedule because we are all just laying around being lazy. DS1 had some friends sleep over in the yard last night (in their own tents, social-distance style) so everyone is low-key today.

I had planned on doing the bike today, but we decided to all go to the park this morning and I ran with the 2yo in the jogging stroller while H fished with the 5yo. I ran about 1.9 of the 2 miles, so I felt good about that. Bloat and water weight are hanging on from our Friday indulgences and I'm ready for them to go. Hopefully by tomorrow.

Congrats On your NSV budders! Today I did a 20 min Pop ride of Sam’s and one of Tunde and a 20 min 80s ride of Robin’s followed by a 5 min stretch.

While I await pictures of baby cnf, here’s my weekend! 5k run yesterday, and a mile walk with the kiddos in the afternoon. Today, my kids slept in (never happens!) but I didn’t, so I did 20 minutes of yoga, then family hiked about a mile and a half. I’m sure some sort of walk or bike ride is in our afternoon plan, as well as the Lillie Eats Chicken divan.

It’s been harder to workout this weekend, as I’m back to work. I didn’t do anything yesterday, today I got on the treadmill and walked/jogged almost 2 miles. Not much but it’s better than my baseline! (Of doing no workouts)

I’m not sure where else to vent this nervousness, so I’m coming here. I started Noom in early July with the goal of losing 20 lbs (thanks weaning and covid). I’ve only got 8 more pounds to go! I was away at the beach this week and was tracking calories and foods and making decent choices (we were also very active!), but I didn’t have a scale and I am nervous/curious what it is going to say in the morning 😬

byjove try not to stress! Whether the scale went up or down, you're going to want to keep on keeping on in terms of making healthy choices so it doesn't change that, even if you don't see what you are looking for. Sounds like you enjoyed yourself and still made decisions youre proud of at the same time, thats a win!

Back from vacation with a ton of catching up to do ( both in reading the thread and working out) I spent a week in Oregon seeing beautiful scenery and drinking some amazing wine. We returned with 23 bottles 🍷😀. Grocery shopped today with a plan of getting back on track this week.

Hello, we haven't met but I came home from Italy with 2 cases of wine so I feel we would get along. Very interested in the wine you got 😂 We were in the Williamette Valley of Oregon. Pinot Noir country. We mostly brought back Pinot noir but also a few Pinot Gris, rose and a dry Riesling. We visited Lemelson, Aramenta, Holloran, J Christopher, Williamette Valley, St. Innocent, Stoller, Elizabeth Chambers & R. Stuart. It was really fabulous.

I need to get my shit together. Workouts have been... okay? I’m squeezing stuff in. But my eating could be better. I think maybe I’m just bloated. I plan to drink a shit ton of water this week and get back on track.
Today DD1 and I did half of one of the Peloton fun family yoga classes, and then I did a 30 minute Denis power yoga that was really good.
Tomorrow I have an appt after work, so I likely won’t have time to work out. But I think the rest of the week I should be able to fit workouts in after work. If that doesn’t work out, maybe I will go back to early morning workouts. It’s the first week of school for DD1 so I’m just hoping it’s not too much of a shit show. 😅

Baby cnf is here! 24 hours of labor and 3 hours of pushing with an epidural that never took was my workout, lol.
