We went to the hot tub store. The swim spa is not going to happen but I’m working on a pitch to DH about why I need the salt water hot tub even though it won’t be available until January and is a lot over what my budget had been. Awww. The swim spa won’t fit? I could make it fit but it was $35,000 and $6800 to put the treadmill in it 😂 |

I bought the girls shirts from Old Navy. They read the tags and said, "They're from Old Navy--they must be expensive." Lolz. I hope I can keep this ruse going from a while.

I bought M some really soft and comfy “performance” shorts from ON. Heck, I wanted to buy me a pair. Every time I try to get him to wear them he says ‘But those are like pajamas Momma!’. 😂😂 He eventually obliges, but every time, we go round and round about them not being pajamas. |

MH went to pick up Moe’s at the boys’ request. I told him to get me a nachos but tell them put the toppings, chips, and cheese separate. I don’t like soggy chips. When I go, they put all the toppings in a big bowl, bag the chips, and give me a cup of queso. He came home with each topping in a separate cup. 🤦🏽♀️ That employee probably hates him now. 😂

She said the pain is all gone. But the swelling hasn't gone down at all, which I know I need to give it a few days. I'm happy she feels better, she's definitely walking better and can walk stairs normal. But the swelling is what worries me the most. Thanks for asking! |

Maybe not as amazing as wedding's husband finding a Nokia or whatever it was in the pocket of an old coat, but I'll take what I can get. 😉 Maybe someday I'll get a Tamagotchi in a used backpack. #onecandream I recently found my blockbuster membership card in a junk drawer. Then I was telling my kids how Netflix used to come in the mail 3 at a time and Amazon was only for books. |

We picked up Hs truck this evening. They didn't say anything about not paying the money down, so I'm considering this a win, although I feel like at some point, their accounting people have to find it. This is a big dealership that has been around for a long time.

Last day without C. Dh took the day off and we had a nice walk on the ocean, takeout Mexican outside for dinner, and binged Killing Eve after. It was nice to talk without interruptions every ten seconds.

Sorry for being MIA today. I don’t really have an excuse 🤷🏻♀️. I have started listing various baby things on fb marketplace and someone bought the nursing pillow I don’t like today. We met up after lunch and now I have $20! The temps weren’t too bad today but it was still humid. We hung out with the neighbors across the street this afternoon and I felt very damp when I finally went inside.
H has only lost 1 tooth and has had 3 wiggly ones for a couple months. She doesn’t touch them or I bet they would have come out by now. One of her upper front teeth is so close. She got my teeth, which I should have gotten braces but my parents were too cheap to get them. I plan to do it in the next couple of years. I still have 2 baby teeth, but since they aren’t bothering anything the dentist is leaving them. I’m sure when I get braces they’ll probably pull them, my teeth are pretty crowded. DH has nice, straight teeth with no braces and S seems to be following in his footsteps. Lucky.
Oh, I don’t think I updated about V’s appt yesterday. The ent determined that it was appropriate to clip her upper lip tie. It was a little traumatic for both of us but I could tell the difference in her latch right away. I think it’ll be for the best in the long run. I’ve given her Tylenol a few times but it doesn’t seem to be bothering her much today, thankfully.

Josie has two missing teeth that are growing back in pretty well. The dentist says her teeth have plenty of room but I know that can change once her grown-up teeth come in. MH and I both had braces so I just always assumed it was going to be a given for our kids.

Ds has lost two teeth, and his top front are loose. I’ve had braces, ds seems to have a bit of an overbite, but wel have to wait and see.

@trrlcrzy glad V is recovering nicely! I think you made the right decision; it was so much worse doing it to a toddler. I swore after B’s experiences that if any future babies had tongue/lip ties, we’d have them clipped as newborns.

Did they say how long the shot should last for? Not really, everyone reacts differently. She said not to be surprised if we have to do it again in 6 months, so my guess is that's the average. She also said 4 steriod shots is the max she recommends and at that point, we will discuss different meds. The next most common med is a cancer fighting drug, given in low doses, helps inflammation caused by arthritis. I really don't want to give that to her unless it's last option. Plus its a shot that we would have to learn to give regularly from home. |
