The boys got us up pretty early. So everyone has eaten breakfast, brushed their teeth and are dressed. I'm about to run to the grocery.

Morning!
DH has today off so he did the camp run with B and then is taking care of some errands. I'm drinking my 2nd cup of coffee and making a list of everything I want to do to the kids' bathroom.
We may or may not have a tropical storm headed this way...kind of looking forward to it, a nice break from non-stop Covid news 😏. I'd love to be able to figure out a color for B's room and paint this weekend assuming we'll be stuck inside.

Morning! Back to work today for me. 3 hours in and so far it's been fine. I couldn't sleep last night so I'm feeling a bit on the tired side but glad it's Friday!

Morning. It is freaking hot today here, luckily the kids are at my parents, so I’m lounging on the couch and watching kissing booth two. Dh is seeing a friend tonight so I need to figure out what to do for dinner.

Morning and happy Friday!
I'm working in my home office for the first time. Of course Evie had to set up a big pop up tent that takes up the entire open space in the rest of the room, but it is her playroom, so it's fine. She's watching her tablet quietly in it.
I need to order some groceries for pick up. And Evie has a hair appointment at 11. Hoping for a quiet day otherwise.
We are supposed to pick up H's truck today (they were having a truckliner sprayed in). They forgot to charge us for the money we said we'd put down and we haven't heard from them. I told him he needs to let them deliver, they can't charge us if they deliver, but he's hell bent on going to pick it up. I will laugh and laugh and laugh, if they don't charge us, after all the negotiating we did.

Morning. No plans today. I need to run to target because I bought H 2 pairs of pants the other day and they never made it home with me. Hoping they can find or replace them. Also need to buy him new shoes because he has been having meltdowns every day about his shoes being too tight (even though they seem to have plenty of room).
I just pulled another one of Ns teeth. That makes 8! She’s lucky to take after Dh in regards to teeth, they are all coming in so nicely, Her dentist doubts she’ll need braces.

Good morning. Everyone is doing well today. C got out of the bed and came downstairs around 10 announcing “look at me mom, I can come out!” I took him back and he stayed in bed the rest of the night but in the sleep sack with the pacifier.
Today we are hoping to go look at some hot tubs. We had someone who was supposed to be coming to the house earlier this week but we had to cancel with the craziness. This left me time to research though and I really want to find out if we can fit a swim spa. I fear we will end up in another shelter in place in the fall or winter and I think it would give the kids something to do (or at least me and my cocktail somewhere to hide). We can’t fit a pool for sure so I think the swim spa would be fun.

Last night we watched Practical Magic and the girls loved it. Some spooky stuff for M and romance for C. I also watched Mirage on Netflix and it was pretty good. Butterfly Effect thing going on with changing timelines from the past. I think you'd like it klong11. I'm eyerolling my boss today. He's the George Bush Jr. of bosses--somebody who'd be great to have a beer with but you don't want as your leader. He didn't show up Tuesday. Came super late WED and didn't mention a thing about telework, then on Thursday (which is half of our staff's Friday) he holds a big meeting midday and mentions some training and paperwork that needs to get completed. Um, would have been nice to have that earlier in the week when I was twiddling my thumbs. *sigh* |

slenle, Lucky! Although Cadence's are coming in better than I first thought. Looking at her xrays really worried me, but now that they've come in there are only slight issues.

So I started my day, once again in jeans and a tshirt, hauling shelving pieces out of one of the partners truck to hold upstairs in the office temporarily. I thought we were done moving shit.
He also found out that someone has been selling our shelving units out of our storage sheds. The accountant and I think it was the receptionist, but no one will believe us. There were only 3 people to go out there for shelves, the receptionist, the head partners wife to get shelves for her community art program, and the attorney who picked up the shelves today. We know it wasn't the last 2. The office manager doesn't believe the receptionist would do something like that. Major eye roll there, because uh...yes she would. If she sees dollar signs somewhere, she capitalizes on it. But, whatever, not my problem.

slenle that's great! Every dentist appt we've ever had, the dentist has commented how crowded S mouth is and how he will definitely need help when his aduly teeth come in. He still hasn't lost any teeth yet (and none are even loose)

I got one workout in this morning and I'll do the ab one when I get home from work. After dinner tonight I'm going to a friend's backyard with another girl to swim and drink wine. The highlight of the week for sure.

I dont know too many specifics like how to set it up with electrical etc but I want one so bad cause my exercise of choice is definitely lane swimming. It’s just such a great multi use product, a pool for the family with the option of jets for lane swimming exercise with a way smaller footprint than a regular pool. I think there are even ones that can have a hot tub on the end of it so you’ve got pool, lane swimming and hot tub. |

Last night dinner was strawberries, cereal, and popcorn because there was no way I was using the stove/oven. Last night I told my husband I was planning on tae-kwon-NO because I couldn't muster exercising in the heat. Re: breeze. The other day I told Cass to "run like the wind." Her response, "The wind is slow."  |

Morning!
Can’t wait to be off of work today. My house needs attention this weekend. I need to clean and do a little purging if I can get to it. I also need to make sure I have all the baseboard painting done so I can schedule my floors to be refinished. I have tried calling to schedule it the past two days with no luck. He was supposed to call me back yesterday, but never heard back from him.
Hopefully the kitchen gets completely finished today so I can get everything in it’s place.

inthekitty that’s one of the reasons I love PNW, the climate! Is just ordered a massive salad for dinner, the kids had hotdogs and raw veggies. I love the way your girls is thinking 😉.
