Yes, at least for the rest of the summer as summer seems to be the worst for her. I don’t think I want her on it forever but if we can prevent a repeat of the past 48 hours, I’d definitely try it. I feel terrible for y’all. You get migraines, too, right? Yes, mine started when I was 9. I see spots first and I can usually get them under control faster now. No prescription ever helped me, I take 2 Tylenol arthritis with a can of coke. DD started with the headaches at 4 then transitioned to stomach in the past 2 years.

kim22 probably unethical and breaking some laws or something, but can the doctor prescribed them to you and then you give them to her? I mean the doctor obviously feels she needs them. Definitely illegal. The doctor that prescribed them was the guy we saw in the ER. He told me he’s a surgeon, I don’t think pediatric. It was a weird ER, it’s freestanding, no hospital attached but it’s owned by the main hospital her doctors work out of by our primary home so I knew they could access her history. Also, we were the only people there the whole time which was good. Her GI doctor said they don’t usually give kids narcotics but the on call I talked to last night said she could figure it out if she had to, whatever that means.

I moved C to the toddler bed today (proud of myself for hauling it down from the attic, assembling it, taking the crib apart, and hauling it to the garage). C was so excited and went in without pacifiers or his sleep sack, claiming he is a big boy. Crossing my fingers it goes well, I really need some sleep tonight.

MH is due at home in about 10 min. I’ve managed to keep it a secret so the kids have no idea and they’re going to freak! I told him to sneak in the front door, I cannot wait and hope I am able to get it on video. It’s been a long 7 months. Oh I’m so happy for the kiddos! Two weeks pass by fast!

I feel like this is the never ending day. I had a few stops to make after work and I was so happy to just be home, but then I had to go into cooking mode so I could feed the kids who were asking me every 2 minutes if it was ready yet.
Backsplash is not done. I guess he is waiting on the other pieces for the butler’s pantry and washroom to come in so he can do all the grout at the same time. I was confused with what all Mh was telling me. This is why I like to be present when the work is getting done so I’m clear on what’s happening and not.
The color will be ok I think. I realized when I got here that it’s picking up the blue reflection off the contact paper still on the countertop so it’s coming off way more gray than taupe.

lahdeedah I hope the backsplash ends up how you want it. I was in the hospital having my first baby when my kitchen was being done. The kitchen project was running late, the baby arrived a month early and I remember my husband bringing pictures (because texts weren’t a thing) and me freaking out that the grout color was wrong. It was fine the pictures just looked funny on that old school digital camera.

Can you tell me how you know its a stomach migraine? I've gotten migraines since I was 7, I get spots like you. Matthew started getting them last year. But he complains about his stomach alot.

peachsmama her first few episodes with the stomach I assumed were viral. Then I noticed they followed the pattern of when she used to have headaches- she gets cranky, pale, complains of pain, vomits, sleeps, then wakes up fine, wants to eat all the food and get back to normal. I also noticed that no one else in the house was catching these viruses and we all know an actual stomach virus spreads fast in the house. This recent episode lasted 40 hours but then by last night, she was begging to go to gymnastics. I called the doctor and she said it was okay so she went to a 3 hour practice with no issues. She’s not a complainer about pain for anything else except this. It’s horrible to watch, I feel like it’s when I had those 7 kidney stones a month after my csection.

Thanks for all the love guys ❤️💕 it was a good homecoming and the kids couldn’t believe it. J just kept on walking around yelling ‘Daddy I missed you! Daddy you’re home! And B went to bed saying ‘this feels like a dream’.
I found him just walking around the house opening cupboards, the pantry, fridge etc, he said he was ‘getting reacquainted’, lol. He’s unpacked already and off to work for a half day today coming home just after lunch.

His pain is not that severe so I think it's just regular stomach pain. Or him faking it.
