muscari - thank you. I seriously thought I had bitten off more than I could chew when I started it but it's really pretty easy.

Latest knitting project done and finally in the hands of its recipient 😀 This blanket ended up being fucking huge. Way bigger than I planned on... That's what happens when you keep adding repeats 🙈 It's soft and squishy though and so pretty though. Now I'm onto finishing mermaid tail blankets for my 3 nieces for Christmas!!! One is completely done, another is 80% done, and the third hasn't even had the skeins rolled into balls yet...

Moana felt doll is complete! Super excited how cute she turned out! After I put the hair on the unclothed doll, my toddler grabbed her and started running around saying "Maui! Maui!" So I guess that's my next project...

Hubby has been hogging the TV with his new video game and I've rediscovered my crafting bug. Made a hand-sewn wrap scrap lovey for the toddler since she kept stealing this piece of scrap and calling it a "blankie". It's from Cari Slings, an as-yet unnamed blue Alchemy.

WIP of the Snoopy birth record - two down, two to go! Hopefully you can't tell where I ran out of blue floss and had to buy a little extra from a different dye lot...

cakewench I hate when that happens. I ran out of yarn for a blanket once when I had only 2 rows left and had to get more from a different dye lot. I was so mad!

cakewench, I cannot see a difference in the blues. I absolutely feel you there. I have had to switch threads for my embroidery too and I am sure it's glaringly obvious where the change is, but no-one else has ever been able to tell.

Is this thread only fabric related? Because I'm about to start on a play kitchen made from an old entertainment center. Bit daunting but I'm super excited to start. Might make a fall wreath somewhere in there too.

Newest project, a lil plush narwhal! I used a free pattern I found on a blog, and it was relatively easy. I used some Babywearing wrap scrap for the belly Posted it in a Babywearing group on FB and now I have orders for ten more! I’m going to be busy for the next couple of weeks.

Made these this past weekend. Finished Sunday evening, and regained full feeling in my finger tips Monday afternoon. How do you do this? Or what it is called? It's really cool!

I'm currently making a boring scarf for my mom because she's asked me to.
I started an alphabet blanket back in May. Each letter is about 35 stitches by 55 and the blanket is 5x6 letters with a few hearts thrown in to even it out. I got the first row complete until I realized the letters were backwards 😩 I haven't worked on it since because it took so long and then I had to undo it. I'm just getting the itch to start again but I wish I could fast forward and just have the completed blanket haha!

I find a thing I want and make a pattern. Then to transfer the pattern onto the wood I rub chalk on the back on go over all the little dots with a pencil after putting it on the wood. The little chalk marks are where I hammer in the nails, then I wind the string around them. When I tie off the strings I put a little drop glue on each knot to make sure it doesn't come undone.
