I made this yesterday for someone with a baby boy due soon. And I combined a few different patterns and made up a few bits to create RBG today

byjoveIt's from this book. I bought it at Barnes and Noble. I mostly used the Elizabeth Bennet pattern for the base. Adjusted a few things like the bun placement and skirt. Then I used a picot stitch for the collar. The glasses I made from craft wire using instructions from the Scrooge pattern. I used wire I had but I wish I had a larger gauge. muscari that is gorgeous! And that crochet blanket omg. Love I'd love to take credit for the blanket but unfortunately I don't have enough patience or something for crochetting .. or lack motory skills or such, I dunno, I just always get so frustrated with that annoying crochet needle and all haha! My aunt made this blanket for our LO, and I just absolutely love it! When you posted how much you hated finishing those loose ends before being able to do the border I had to think of my aunt as she was saying the exact same thing while working on this blanket! Here's a small collage I made of her W-I-P pics she shared with me

I finished the nursery quilt and bedskirt two weeks ago. I don't have finished pictures yet (I need to rewash them) but here's the WIP of the front and backs.

Hehe, the cats always have a way of gravitating to the quilts. Nice work!

I've been working on the birth record for our December baby - I was worried I wouldn't finish before he's due but once I got the super boring middle chalkboard part done, the first Snoopy went pretty quick.... (Uploading through mobile so if it's huge I can put it behind a spoiler later!)

I switched to cross stitch to work in this one. It's a map of the US Yes, it's wrinkled because I don't have patience for the in and out that's required by using a hoop.

honeylemon I hate using hoops. I know using them is better for fabric tension but I feel like hoops crush stitches and no matter how much I iron, it never comes out flat. I've thought about getting Q snaps but I'm so used to stitching in hand that I probably won't like those either. Love that pattern!

I wish I could do counted cross-stitch. I don't know if it's my depth perception or what but even with line guides my stitches end up all off kilter and in the wrong places.

I did a "boo" sign last year for Halloween. Next one is going to be different colored peep bunnies with the words "Hoppy Easter" under. Going to give my fingers a little break before I start that one.

First time in a while I've finished a craft project and it turned out so cute! Heihei from Moana, hand sewn from felt and embroidery thread, from a pattern I got on Etsy. My toddler is going to be excited in the morning

I'm currently knitting a cable blanket for the baby too. I'm almost one skein in and will probably need a total of 4.
