The hvac company is coming this morning to check on something with the condenser.
Otherwise just a day here— pool, some gardening, and pizza.

Fun day here! My parents think they're coming over just for drinks and snacks with us but it's actually a surprise 40th anniversary party! It'll just be us and my sister's and their families but should be fun! We had a big cottage rented to celebrate in April but had to cancel due to COVID.

I was super productive this week both at work and at home. Plus I was stressed about my black belt test all week and studying for that. So now I don't care if I do nothing this weekend.
My FiL might come for a little BBQ today. I'm going to see if there is an opening to get my hair cut. That's about it. Probably watch Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Long Haul tonight.

Morning! Last night mh's best friend surprised him and came over for beers on the back porch. It was so so nice and he was so happy to see him. He also didn't bring his wife, which was much appreciated to me, so I didn't have to make chitchat.
I have some work and school work to get caught up on today. Also one Adirondack chair finally arrived(I ordered a solid month ago)...but the box was basically open, so I need to see if all the pieces are in there.

Morning. My parents stopped by to pick up the kids bikes and some other outdoor gear. We had a little walk and saw some deer, tomorrow is our last day, back home on Monday. I always really hate leaving this place and am a bit (okay a lot) sentimental about this possibly being our last trip just the four of us. We might book a stay when my maternity leave starts (34 weeks).

Busy manual labor day at work yesterday. It left me a bit bruised and sore today.
Nothing major on the agenda. I have 2 Target pick ups at 2 different stores, a possible goodwill drop off, and Cadence has been requesting frozen yogurt for a couple days now so I need to find one that's open.
The cats have decided they all hate each other today so there have been a couple of cat timeouts already this morning.

We’re dealing with rain from hurricane Hanna. Looks like it will be hitting further south than they thought so hopefully we won’t be dealing with flooding like we expected.
Hopefully everyone will be safe from the hurricane down south.

We had a thunderstorm early this morning around 4ish. I was up nursing so that’s the only reason I know. Dh went grocery shopping and then took the girls to the bike trail this morning. They were only gone for an hour because S can’t hang that long. H is making good progress with no training wheels but she’s still not confident so DH put them back on. I ran to a store by myself and otherwise I think we will be hanging inside, it’s very hot and humid.

Remember yesterday when my coworkers MIL was out in a coma? Her lungs are better but her kidneys are failing now. They said there’s nothing else they can do for her and it’s just a matter of time.

We cleaned out and actually made E’s room her room. It is also the primary play room now. We converted the crib to a toddler bed. I did get her Frozen 2 sheets that are in the wash so that will be a surprise for her tonight. She did okay in it at nap time.
I should be doing homework and going through the stuff we took out of her room but instead I’m watching tv.
