Ended up being a busy day. I'm finally sitting down now. I put together a care package for someone in my social circle going through chemo now and hope to drop it off soon. She's got 3 young kids. I can't imagine. And with the pandemic they can't get help from many people outside the house. Got my hair cut. I like it. It was longer than I realized so I have enough to donate for wigs instead of sewer drain mats.  It's ready to go. Just need to mail it off.  |

Cute inthekitty! I think I forgot to mention that we got H’s hair cut into a bob last night. She just took a shower so once I dry it I’ll share a pic. She loves it. |

Kids are asleep, and I’m in bed watching Homeland — ten years late, I know. It is glorious. Do I need to watch this? Is Damian’s mouth less annoying in it? We’ve been watching Billions and it’s all I can see. |

His mouth doesn’t bother me, as much as he looks like the red headed doctor on Chicago Med. I so desperately want them to be the same person |

Remember yesterday when my coworkers MIL was out in a coma? Her lungs are better but her kidneys are failing now. They said there’s nothing else they can do for her and it’s just a matter of time. Fuck man. I'm so sorry for them. Thats just awful. I hope someone is able to be with her. |

Morning!
We have our house back! Not a lot to do with the heat but we did take them out to eat a couple times and DH and I had a date-night last night.
I got my hair cut and colored Friday...first color since late Jan, I think?, so I was way past due. Huge improvement.
Today we have a couple errands and DH made a reservation to take the kids to the pool this afternoon. I think we’ll do pizza and a movie tonight.

The girls set up a play date with the neighbor kids this afternoon. I'm happy about it because the parents seem nice and we were chatting about maybe taking turns with the kids this school year when someone needs a break or has work they really need to get done but kids are driving them crazy.

Hi ladies. Last day of vacation over here, we got treated to a sunny and nice day even tough the weather report said that is was going to rain the whole day. We cycled, had ice creams that were to big, rented skelters for the kids (I forgot what they’re called in English), played games and h is currently getting fries to go with the burgers we made. The kids want to take an after dinner dip in the the kiddie pool or play more games. Good day  . |

I call it his ‘20 minute 2 hours. He’ll say I just have to run and do x - it will take 20 minutes. Guaranteed i don’t see Him for 2 hours. |

Ugh, Cadence's size 8 one piece swimsuit is too tight, so I buy a 10 and the crotch is too baggy. There is no in-between size and they have to wear one pieces at swim class. I guess she'll just have to deal with wedgies for awhile

Lazy day here. We are going to my sister’s house in about an hour to hang out and then eat supper. My dad and stepmom are coming too. I’ve been feeling a little bit irritable today but I don’t really know why. I’m having a break in my room by myself right now.

Random girls' swimsuit observation: I bought a Cat&Jack one for C for 4th of July and have been so impressed. It's made just as well as more expensive suits she has--good quality fabric, fully lined, some nice details--and the straps and bottom stay in place.
