While we are currently 2 and through, the door is not completely closed on a third. But it’s very close to being closed. This is where I stand on a fourth... I’m pretty sure this little one is our last, but never say never...

Cheers for a happy scan, @nam. What’s the guidance on schools reopening, vino . I’m sorry they aren’t being smarter on the work situation. School just ended on June 26 and is due to start again early Sept. Prior to closing for the year there was a news conference where they said there are 3 possibilities; return to school to near normal schedule with enhanced cleaning etc, return with a mix of distance learning and in class and then just distance learning. So nothing major and pretty similar to what everyone else is saying and I think we might hear something mid Aug. Who knows, I'll just go with the flow and deal with it then.

Happt belated birthday wedding and @ slenle! vino indoor offices seems completely unnecessary right now. With kids being home, I'd hope you get priority to stay home with kids at home. My University is working through coming back and we can't be on campus if not absolutely required to and must sign waivers, be tested, etc..so basically not going back for a while.

My University is working through coming back and we can't be on campus if not absolutely required to and must sign waivers, be tested, etc..so basically not going back for a while. It is unnecessary for sure but I think because we are a high profile ministry with the tagline 'open for business' they are trying to prove that we're fine, it's fine. LOL It'd be nice that the govt recognize that we have been working and nothing has changed, we've adapted so well. And I've said it before but it's allowing managers and those in a position of power due to their title to get away with not doing any performance management with employees and being poor leaders. There are exceptions and viable child care is one of them and I will be utilizing that for as long as possible. Also, because I have a conscience I couldn't say 'there are no child care options for me' without actually knowing and I called the daycare yesterday to check in and turns out there aren't any spots right now. They've had to change the layout of the daycare therefore 'taking away' the preschool room and until the regulations change for daycares and we hear how school is going to go it'll stay that way so in the very least I'll be home until Sept with them but I'll be pushing for November since J can go to the preK room at that time, then of course the second wave will come, they'll lock shit down again...
