Then he can stay here! (I’m kidding...sort of) But seriously...where do you live? *snip* And I just saw that the school board vote on 4 day a week is tomorrow, then it's gotta get approved by the state/Hogan so....wish us luck 🤞 Hogan is dying to get people back in school, so you should be good. But good luck!

I have accepted that I won't be likely to receive my first dose until April at the earliest. I have the advantage of WFH and pretty much go nowhere for days on end. But FFS we look terrible right now. oh i'm planning on summer-ish for myself. i should be low on the list, but it's... really absolutely insane how badly 1A is going. I would be ecstatic for April. Summer seems more on target for gen pop. It's maddening. Philly might be better. Montco's supply is ridiculous. There are 825,000 people in this county! We are still getting 5,000 per week.

And statewide, not just our county, but our numbers have been dropping like crazy so I'm just.....agsgshrifjbre. like, I SEE THE LIGHT!!!!

J&J EUA conference is Friday, right?? I'm hopeful once that happens that this will all ramp up. I know it's less effective, but I think it's fine for people like me who are low risk. I want my parents and in laws to get the mRNA ones (and so do they).

It will be interesting to see what the ACIP guidance looks like. All are very effective against serious illness, so I’m team “take the first vaccine you can get”.

This is exactly how our school is, except it’s 4 days a week. And the specials teachers are all virtual (even if they’re in the school building) because they don’t want those teachers exposed to multiple cohorts. it really hasn’t been that bad. My kids have been happy. They’re grades 1 and 4. This is how we are too. Does anyone in NJ have guidance that shows the 6ft OR barriers? Because we already have the barriers so... I don't have the guidance, but I know my district just announced we are moving from hybrid to 5 1/2 days a week in person and they said they are able to do that b/c where they can't be 6' apart, they have the barriers. Our district has been very conservative so far so I'm assuming this is following all protocols.

So our district March 1st is combining cohorts and going back 4 half days. Friday is a deep clean/virtual day. Our elementary school that I teach at has 800 kids. The principal is literally begging parents to walk or take the bus. Some classes will have 22 kids in person. One or two virtual kids (that they are teaching at the same time). She did say that quarantines will definitely go up because there is no way to keep 6 feet apart anymore.

Our county just said that it could take another 10 weeks to finish phase 1a.
So I'll be over here twiddling my thumbs FOREVER

i'm breathing into a paper bag about my parents appointment scheduled for next week.
i am so afraid they're going to drive a couple of hours for it and "whoops we're out"
it's through Rite Aid and I believe that they've been pretty reliable, but... i don't trust it.

i'm so relieved. it's just my parents left. my brother (a health care worker) has already had both doses.

So hopefully, it’s a no news is good news sort of thing.

DC is opening up under 65 adults with medical conditions tomorrow!! They’ve included pregnancy. I wonder if that’s standard in other states.

I'm glad we canceled the destination wedding plans we had for May because I do not believe we'll be vaccinated. I was hoping Biden would spur a big push (hence my late Aprilish thinking) but at this rate...

I think this is happening in more places than you realize. I think NY might be one of the only holdouts on tournaments like that.

My mom got her 2nd vaccine yesterday. When I talked to her earlier, she had no problems. I am hoping that she stays symptom free.
