We went and picked up H's fireworks last night. Holy shit, it's a lot. It filled up my entire Jeep and my H's work truck, plus he had cases riding on the tailgate from our neighbors house. Some of it is for his coworker, but I think we have 14 cases that is just ours. And firework stands haven't even opened here yet (that's Saturday, which means he will still spend more).
Evie didn't get to bed until 9:30 last night so she's still sleeping. I need to get some work done, but I have to be quiet because I don't want to wake her.

We spent the last few days at the lake. Much needed! Work is absolutely nuts! Since people can’t or don’t want to vacation at chrisy01’s work place...they are ALL coming to my workplace! We have been 3x busier than normal. I can barely catch a breath! |

Morning! I'm watching my 2 year old niece this morning. Unsure how she will do since I've barely seen her since COVID started. She normally has a really hard time seperating from her parents and this will be the first time she's away from them in months.

Morning. V had me up for a few hours in the middle of the night...and then my milk came in so she slept really well after that. I’m still gonna need a nap or two today. DH and the girls left a little bit ago to go golfing. Actually DH will golf and the girls will ride in the cart and just hang out. I still need to call the chiropractor but they’re only open in the afternoon on Thursdays so I have to wait. Thanks lfig! |

Morning! Not much on our agenda today, just continuing to organize stuff around here. We have a couple vendors and someone from the moving company coming to pick up the empty boxes so we'll stay close to home. My sister may bring my nephew by, too (I have a train table to offload onto them  ) |

I'm just chatting with MH and he has his return flight booked then off to quarantine for 14 days then home, so that makes it the first week of Aug sometime.

At the base here, away from us. There is the option to do it at home, but we decided it's not a good idea. So he'll fly into the city, get the DND bus to the base, quarantine there and then after about 10-12 days get him a COVID test, then we'll get him from there. It's actually really good, because he takes a long time to get over his jet lag, almost a week most times, so he can do it on his own without trying to get back into the demanding life at home. |

That is what they were trying to do at the beginning and everyone basically LOL'd No'd them, saying that they're on a tour of duty and federal health restrictions still make it their issue so they were to pay or find room somewhere. In the end they usually do the right thing and it's fine, but the process to get there is laughable sometimes, depending on who is in charge and if the organizers have done tours before. It's a huge transition, it doesn't end when you leave the tour of duty location. In any case, I'm glad it's sorted out. it eases MH mind and it's one less thing for him to stress about since he knows the plan. |

I want to lay on a beach with slushy drinks delivered to me, no chit chat or nonsense small talk, just quiet. ::drifts off into dreamland:: Rudely interrupted by the 3yo demanding that i look at her treasure map she created for our bike ride today all while B is stating that he needs his lasso re knotted RIGHT NOW!!!!!!!!!!! |

Morning. Yesterday was a looong day of L being super fussy. He had a fever on and off and it was back again this morning. I shut myself in my room after he went to bed last night for some peace and quiet and ended up asleep by 9:30. He’s fussy again this morning and currently napping. He woke up briefly but is back to sleep.
No plans today, maybe bike to the park later.

Morning it is still around the 90’s here and I’m slowly dying and/melting. Rain is coming tomorrow night. At approximately the exact time Dh and I booked an outdoor table a local restaurant for the first time in six months 😂😂😂. If it isn’t corona it’s stupid Dutch weather.
Ds’ best friend is changing schools next year. His teacher just texted me, she found a great picture of him and Ds and that she is going to frame it and give it to both of them on the last day of school. I really really love this teacher.
