Will they try to do it inside the doctors office again? vino, my best friend and I joke that every few months that we want to book a hotel room on a Saturday night for the two of us where we lay in bed, order room service, watch TV and not talk to each other. |

I’m sorry, tgrimes . That really sucks. Will they try to do it inside the doctors office again? vino , my best friend and I joke that every few months that we want to book a hotel room on a Saturday night for the two of us where we lay in bed, order room service, watch TV and not talk to each other. I'm sure the ENT would be willing to try, but I don't want to put H through that again. It's a waste of time & money if he's going to cry. |

In a positive turn of events for the day, my dad called and asked if N and H wanted to go to their house and have a sleep over. Yes, please! So I threw lunch at them as fast as I could and took them to grandpa and grandmas. L fell asleep on the way back home and transferred to his crib. He’s still a mess so hopefully he wakes up happier.

vino yes you need a break because I’m sure you’ve probably finally gotten into a quarantine routine and throwing your H in the mix is going to be difficult. Although sex at the ready and a second set of hands helps.

The quarantine at base plan seems like a good choice all around. Will help him ease into being home and ready to get back to things. slenle wahoo!

mwhip thanks for the well wishes. The meeting with my boss' superior went surprisingly well. I was prepared for a bunch of canned CYA lip service. He welcomed my small team of 4 to the meeting and he really listened to what we had to say and take notes. I think my team was happy I took the initiative because they all loved teleworking. He said he is supportive of telework but was going to play the devil's advocate of things the higher ups would throw at him so that he can be prepared to counter them. I'm going to help develop an SOP for our team's work and eventually the boss will push it higher. Nothing can be done right now but at least some time in the future it might change. I was prepared to be disappointed, but am hopeful.

As someone who has been in the room when they do it in the office, I so don't blame you. I remember leaving one room so sweaty and feeling so bad because nothing I did helped! Luckily they got it but I think every person in that room was traumatized. Poor H, and you! |

I ordered 4 outdoor pillows last week. They came and are 4 outdoor pillow COVERS. So i ordered inserts. They came and its covers.... now I have 8 pillow covers and no pillows 🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️

I'm rewatching Schitt's Creek. Never a bad idea.
I've also been watching a lot of Naked and Afraid lately. I've created my own bio the narrator could read about me: "Inthekitty's primary survival experience comes from watching Naked and Afraid while at home, wrapped up with a blanket on her recliner due to being uncomfortable in 63 degree weather while commenting on what wimps the contestants are on the show. Her generous fat stores will be essential to her chances of surviving in the wild."

L woke up from his nap in a good mood so we went out for Mexican and he was the happiest/chillest baby ever. Margarita and fajitas were just what I needed.

It had enough darkness to not feel cheesy. I actually restarted Fleabag last night and surprisingly I like it a lot more than the first time I tried. Maybe I wasn’t in the right headspace but now I’m totally into it. |

Today was like Grand Central Station around here, people coming and going all day long. I’m beat!
DH got home early so we went to a building supply place to look at front door options.
Tonight the kids met another neighborhood kid and had a good time playing til dinner. Just as we came inside, it started storming...crazy rain, wind and hail. Parts of our ‘hood lost power but we were ok. I saw some pieces that were probably close to golf ball-size 😬

Congrats a billion times over trtlcrzy!! I saw your IG pics and commented but wanted to share my awe for you as a new Mom to 3. Glad things sound like they are going smoothly do far. I'm so annoyed for you, tgrimes, poor H's ears are like a modern day Odessey for kids. Instead of enemies and battles, it's ear infections and neverending appointments. Poor kiddo. Glad he's been doing okay though. Glad everything is planned out for your DH's return vino, I can see how knowing the plan would help. And thanks for tagging me the other day.  |

My course started for the next 8 weeks, OOF, this is ill-advised. I'm definitely going pass/fail though.
I finally ordered some Adirondack chairs after searching for a while. They were on sale at Costco online and have good reviews, so hopefully I like them. We got 5 so we can have some out front and back or enough for visitors.
I need to order a baby gate next, k somehow opened the basement door and I had to dive and grab her by the thigh as she done down the top step..girl is crazy

Man I'm sorry tgrimes. Glad to hear he's been healthy though! He's been at daycare for a bit, right? Since May 1. Obviously not all of the kids are back so class sizes are smaller and they’re cleaning/sanitizing throughout the day, which helps. |
