As per my Amazon email this morning, Prime Day kicks off at 6 pm (pacific), 9 pm Eastern this evening!
So far, I've seen a Jujube purse bag that Amazon says they only have 7 left of, and the deals don't start until tomorrow. So... here's to hoping they do better for the rest of prime day!

I set up a bunch of price watches on my registry items in the hope that they will notify me of Prime Day deals, but I don't know if the emails are fast enough (or will be bogged down by Prime Day) to make it work. Hopefully it does!
I tried looking up what was going to be on sale but haven't found anything baby-related yet, other than clothing.

Hopefully it does! I tried looking up what was going to be on sale but haven't found anything baby-related yet, other than clothing. From what I've read, they tend to not release a whole lot of deals early. I guess it helps build up the hype? One website I read suggested downloading the app, where you can view (and "watch") upcoming deals. The upcoming deals shows 24 hours in advance and I assume Prime Day deals will be on there as well. When you "watch" the deals, the app sends you notifications 5 minutes prior to starting. So, assuming it doesn't get bogged down by Prime Day, that should be helpful. Also, I filter the deals to only view the "Baby" department so I don't have to see all of the other stuff.

thatgirlrachel, I use a third-party app in Chrome called The Camelizer for setting up price watches, but I'll have to look into my Amazon app too to try that method of watching as well. Thanks!

Things I'll have my eye on:
Gear: Bassinet, Exersaucer, playmat/gym (only if they're great deals) Bibs Diapers Crib sheets K'Tan Wrap (not getting my hopes up to see one)
I'm probably forgetting something. Basically any baby stuff I know I'll need.

I was so excited when I looked at my calendar for tomorrow. I don't have to leave the office so that means prime day, all day at work! I'm not exactly sure why I'm so excited - the last prime day all I bought was coconut oil. Guess I'm hoping lots of great deals on baby stuff.

Definitely check out the app. You can watch deals and be notified of when they're about to start.
I haven't missed out on much when I've done it that way.

Lillebaby ssc (6-in-1 and 3-in-1) are on sale now as part of the pre-prime day deals. Someone literally bought ours off the registry yesterday for $30 more than it is today. I'm so triggered by Prime Day already!

Looks like you can see the deals and watch them from amazon.com on a computer too. I've been refreshing the baby deals every so often but so far nothing I need has come up.
If anyone was considering getting some new babywearing gear, lots of Lillebaby stuff for Prime Day.

I'll need to start tracking some big ticket items! We'll be needing another convertible car seat but not till Spring next yr since we're planning on keeping fella#2 in bucket seat for at least 6 months if not longer. I'm conflicted if I should wait or get it now if price is good? We're also wanting to get DS a balance bike. We need a humidifier. I think they may be the extend of big ticket items for us. I can't think of anything else. 🤔

Well, I really hope it's for a crib mattress lol. Now I'm second guessing! *edit, yes it's a crib mattress cover. Whew! thatgirlrachel, are there any kids resale like JBF anywhere near you? I've seen exersaucers go for $15-$30 depending on used condition. They get used for such a Short time and I've seen some in barely used conditions at resales. I have to say though, it is a great baby gear to have! Even for a short period of time. It got us through getting stuff done around the house. Highy recommended

MIL had an exersaucer for DD and she loved it much better than the jumperoo we had at home. Really hoping to score a good deal, maybe on a swap & shop website - we do have a couple of those!

Someone tell my about the Lillebaby deals. I have a ring sling and another wrap I bought second hand for little to nothing, but I never really got the hang of them when DS was a baby and I didn't find myself needing to wear him a lot. I kind of want a more structured carrier since I never felt confident in the wrap and sling. Are these good carriers? Are the prime day prices the best I'll likely find? I think I had another carrier on my baby registry, probably a recommendation from the baby wearing thread. Ergo, maybe?

I can't say how well the work or anything, but I did put the lillebaby 6-in-1 on my registry for a few reasons. 1: if H was going to carry, it would likely be in a SSC - but that's just me knowing him. 2: the 6 in 1 allows you to front carry with baby facing out which some carriers do not allow. No clue if Ev will like that, but I like having the option. 3: the back panel has a zip down so it becomes a mesh panel for extra air flow in the summer. I'm sure other carriers do similar things, but it's what I picked based on my very limited knowledge.

Okay guys, I haven't purchased any baby clothes for myself but this thing is so stinking cute. It's on my watchlist. *it doesn't show very well, but it's lemons. Gah.

I'm actually kind of depressed about prime day's timing this year. I want to be excited and watching deals, but my dad is getting married this weekend and we are flying out Thursday for the wedding, and i don't know my neighbors well enough yet to have someone grab my packages. I might watch for some swaddleme deals because i loved those with DS, and they will fit in my mailbox.

Are you willing to pay a little extra for 1-day shipping to receive them Wednesday? I know it may defeat the purpose of saving money, but if the deal is good enough, it's something to consider. Or, have them shipped to someone else near your home (if you have that option).

She lives an hour away, so a little farther away than i might usually use, but maybe I'll ask her if i can ship to her for any great deals. I am hoping for a deal on a slide for DS too.

Fisher Price bouncer goes on sale at 7:55am. Summer Infant Warming Waterfall bathtub at 8:10am. Kiinde Bottle Warmer at 9:05am. Fisher Price RNP goes on sale at 10:20am.
I've seen Phillips Avent and Playtex Ventaire bottles sets. Tons of LilleBaby carriers.
I'm trying to summarize things we all may be really interested in. I just spotted a swivel glider going on sale at 2:04pm. Hoping that's a really good deal so I can justify buying a new one for the nursery and not taking DD's from her room.

I'm so torn on bottle warmers. For H and I, I don't realistically see us using a bottle warmer unless:
I cannot breastfeed H actually wants to get up MOTN and give her a bottle, which since he works early and I don't, I'm not seeing in our future.
But... if those conditions are met, maybe they're useful.

Also : Cuddlebug vs K'Tan for first wraps?
I'd like a K'Tan but the Cuddlebug is on Prime tomorrow.

I was only able to exclusively pump for 1 month and DD always drank milk straight out of the fridge. I know that's probably a rare scenario, and I'll probably end up needing a warmer for this baby just for telling that story. But it's on my "wait and see if I really need it" list.
