I spoke too soon. The thing is busted. We have to get a whole new air-conditioning system put in. They can't start the work until two weeks from today. I think I might have to try and find another company.

OMG if my coworker/friend can't stop messaging about every. single. thing. in her life. I'm going to go crazy. She keeps saying she is getting a divorce, but FIRST xyz needs to happen. So then xyz happens and then oh well FIRST abc needs to happen. Then, she proceeds to bitch about all the things he has ever done or said, but keeps delaying the divorce. So then she gets a cat to "calm her anxiety" and now I'm getting non-stop messages about why is the cat crying, the cat came into my bed, but I couldn't sleep because I was afraid I would roll over it, I don't think the cat ate all day or came out from under the bed. DUDE! She wonders where her son got all of his anxiety issues from, but seriously I don't think she has gone a single day without bitching about at least 10 different things. It's giving me freaking anxiety! If I ignore the messages she then starts asking why I'm mad at her. If I respond, she has even more reasons why what I say won't work for her. I'm just going to start sending the damn thumbs up emoji for every single message.

cagoldi where are you? Hope everybody is well and doing ok. I'm here. First time I've had a chance to check in since Thursday. Friday night, Atticus flooded our first floor bathroom. The wood is totally wiped out and we're going to have to redo our flooring in there. They both have HFM. Again. Pete had to go into the office Saturday so I was alone to manage nonstop vomiting and blowouts. Atticus has become such a picky eater lately and it's driving me crazy. He won't even sit at the dinner table for more than 2 minutes and it's exhausting. At what point will he remain still and eat a meal like a normal human being?Someone please tell me that this will get better. I just need things to go smoothly for like, 5 hours straight. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Maybe we should have a picky eating thread. You, me, nam2013 and there must be others...

OMG I love that xolastunicornxo, sour patch kids. Seems fitting for Colin at this age as well. Between his mood swings and his general clumsiness, he's pissing me off or unintentionally hurting me one minutes, then apologizing in the cutest voice the next second. Kid is going to be the life of me. So cagoldi, if this age is indicative of our parenting, I'm afraid for both of us. I hope you get some better luck, health-wise, soon.

Add me to the sour patch kid club. I will say S is great 99% of the time. But man, that 1% is pure hell. I always say it's like a switch flips in him and nothing will bring him back. I hate it. Also, damn cagoldi, am I mis-remembering or is this like the 5th time HFM has gone through your house?? That's terrible.

If I made chicken on its sell by date, how long is it good to eat? I didn't freeze it at all before cooking. 3-4 days, I'd imagine.

I know that for a toddler, he's probably about average or maybe slightly better than average. He will almost always try new things so I try to take heart with that. But he doesn't like to eat anything together, just a bunch of separate foods. And he still uses utensils less than 50% of the time. It's like he's being raised by wolves! cagoldi oh man. Hang in there.. everything is just a phase, that's my mantra lately. guster I am not sure I'll like j FF either, but hoping I can catch him in the act of nail biting once we do flip him. trtlcrzy eek, sorry about the pneumonia:( my doc said that as scary as it is, basic abx can knock it out. J just had amoxicillin when he had it at 11 months. Fingers crossed she kicks it quickly. We did steams and would clap her back with a cupped hand to help loosen up the congestion. nam2013 woohoo for poop! We had one success thursday..and 2 accidents yesterday. He says he's scared to go, poor guy. I may need to up my bribery. Not much new here. I felt like I was running around like a crazy person yesterday trying to get countertops picked out for my mom and driving her to a haircut. Of course my errands got bumped since we ran out of time before going home. And N won't sleep. I swear she tried to climb my arm at one attempt of laying her down at 3am.

Colin loves any sport that involves a stick - hockey, golf, lacrosse, baseball, etc. I get accidentally hit with said sticks at least once a day. At least it's me and not Chase.

I can't wait til the kids can swing without me pushing them.
Also, if C freaks out one more time because L is looking at him, I will be forced to start drinking to get through the next few hours.

I'M AWARE! Did you remove yourself from the situation? We were laying in bed, so I just kept laying him back down and after a few times threatened time out. Then he got his feelings hurt and cried until he found something else to delay bed time. It's a nightly thing.. Not just jumping. But anything to delay.

Purposefully hurting someone gets an immediately time out and removal from the area. Accidents happen, but intentional is a big no no in our house, always has been.

J is awake and yelling in her crib but I literally just sat down outside after doing a few things, she'll be good for a few minutes. I just need to listen to the birds, soak in some sun and enjoy the alone time. Just 5 minutes.
Started the day with a trip to Home Depot of course, I know you're all shocked, my week would just feel off if I didn't walk those aisles.

My babysitter has a home remedy for just about everything. So I asked her about the poison ivy. So I now have concrete mortar made into a paste smeared on my legs. She says it should be gone by morning. If it is, I'm going to give her a bonus!

Took my first zpack dose, sat down to dinner, then vomited as soon as I was done. I would rather cough than vomit. Hopefully it doesn't happen again tomorrow.
