My sister and her kids came over yesterday which was so nice. I didn't sleep well though and have been up since 4. I finally just got out of bed, everyone else is sleeping though so it's peaceful. Also, for some reason I feel like today is baby day, trtlcrzy! |

Morning! Baby day would be great!
A leaves tomorrow for a 10 day fishing trip. My dad goes every year with a group of guys and this is A's first year going. And hopefully the last.. but my mom, me, the kids, my mil, sil, and my aunt and uncle are taking a weekend trip to Kentucky down under. So I need to clean out my car from all the baseball stuff and get stuff ready.

Looks like it may be a slow day at work today. Waiting to see if there are any add ons. I want to finish the last two episodes of Little Fires Everywhere, but I may wait u til I’m home to watch it on The TV while the boys are at swim. It’s such a good show.

Happy last day of work trtlcrzy! The end is near! I need to get all my work done this morning, make sure all invoices are entered and POs submitted. I'll go into the office this afternoon to file and help my boss, then I'm off until the 22nd! I'm contemplating taking my laptop, just because I will still get calls and emails constantly. And I can get emails on my phone, but it isn't the same. I did talk H into taking some pictures while we are on vacation, I'm working out a time and date with the cheaper photographer. He will give us a USB the day after we have pics taken, so that's another reason I'm thinking about taking my laptop. I need to get all laundry done today, mow, and start packing stuff. I think H is taking off half day, so I may wait and see if he will mow so I don't have to work that in somehow, during my work day. |

I’m actually kind of hoping baby waits until Saturday at the soonest because my sister is taking the girls from tonight until Tuesday and I’m stoked about having tomorrow all to myself with no one to bug me. But if she comes, I’d be happy about that too. |

Morning. The girls have a dentist appt this morning, which I’m glad about because H has been complaining that one of her teeth hurt. It’s one of the baby teeth right next to the adult tooth that’s coming in. Then I need to pack the girls for their fun weekend away. My sister is taking them camping this weekend so they should have lots of fun. DH is taking them to meet her halfway while I’m at work tonight. Then it’s freedom until Tuesday night!

Morning! I'm taking the kids for haircuts in a bit, and then I think we're going to meet up with my sister/nephew at her neighborhood playground. Trying to decide what to do with C's hair...she wants it 'long like Elsa' (natch  ...but not happening) and I have been letting it grow out a bit, but I really prefer it a little shorter. I got the first coat done on the headboards yesterday and they look so good! Hoping I can get a 2nd coat on today. |

lahdeedah I read Little Fires Everywhere and enjoyed it, but haven't watched yet. Glad to hear it's good! Watching the show, I wish I read the book first. It must have been a page turner because the show is great. |

I think I just made the office manager quit. Oops. Sry, not sry.
The receptionist sent out an email yesterday with a bunch of questions and then went off on the partners on how they are treating us and cutting our pay and shit. And basically said that all of the staff feels that way.
Uh, no. Don't group me under a certain opinion without even asking my opinion.
So I replied, because of course I did, saying that while they were good questions, I had already received answers to them because I took it upon myself to reach out to the partners and ask them. That no one is to blame for the current situation we are in, it's a freaking pandemic and oil dropped, we have no control in that. And that as adults we take our future into our own hands and handle our own lives.
So the office manager replied this morning how the receptionist is right, the partners need to be more forthcoming in their information and blah blah blah.
I replied.
I pointed out that most, if not all, of the questions the receptionist posed could/should have been answered by her, the office manager.
She replied you're right. I've never been a good legal office administrator and I've been saying that from the beginning. I am an accountant. Perhaps it's time for me to move on.

It's good you said something klong11,, it sounds like you were professional about it. I don't like when people make generalized opinions about a group, it's uncalled for and unprofessional. I came in late to all this, are you currently looking for another part time or full time job? How's it going with that? |

Hi ladies. Today was my first full day at work in months! It was basically back to back meeting and an iq test and writing a report straight after. I’m beat! Both kids went to school today, the colds seem to have subsided, fingers crossed both stay clear for at least the next 3 weeks. Tomorrow is teacher’s day at the kids school & I got some ridiculously expensive flowers. Next time I’ll ask the price before I’ll point . |

Be prepared, the acting is terrible and that is an understatement (couldn’t stop watching however) and the ended felt a little weird to me. |
