It's Thursday! The one day of the week I do my make up (not my hair) and actually go to the office for an hour. I'm kind of excited to see other people!

trtlcrzy I hope you can get someone to look at your A/C today. Evie stayed with MIL last night and H is out of town, so I binge watched The Handmaid's Tale. I'm behind on watching it when everyone else was. Shit is scary to watch with the way the world is right now. I got some yummy new drinks yesterday to sit in the pool with the kid and drink. I'm excited for that portion of my day!

Morning. Zoom meeting this morning and a few emails, but not much else on the agenda work wise. I made a French onion soup for tonight & my sister stopped by with her baby boy, such a cutie. My back still hurts, so Dh send me upstairs to lie down for a bit.

Morning. I’m working in my department today, not screening. The schedule isn’t too bad, so hopefully there isn’t a bunch of inpatient add ons. I need to schedule some house stuff, so I need some down time. mwhip I am thinking about getting Hulu live to replace cable and thinking I need to watch that. I have to be in the right headspace for heavy stuff though, so maybe I will have to wait on that. trtlcrzy I think you were deciding about a streaming service a while back, which one did you go with? My one year contract and promo price is up and I need to make a decision soon. I did a little research yesterday. |

I chose it mostly because they stream the local channels and it has unlimited dvr. It only has Disney, pbs, and Cartoon Network channels for kids, no Nickelodeon. |

Morning. I just shut the windows a little bit ago and turned on the ac so I’m not sure if it’s fully functional yet. I’ll give it an hour and if it’s not at my set temp then I’m calling. I don’t think I have anything really planned for the day, except work this evening.

Good luck on your call klong11! trtlcrzy I'd go ahead and get a call in. Even if it does catch up, it should be checked over. If it does work, it will get the once over, if it doesn't work, you'll be on the list at least. |

Hey everyone, good morning! I haven't been on in ages, thank you everyone for the birthday wishes last month and the check in tags We're doing ok over here, still at home. B's school is a lot with 13-15 google slides per day with assignments, video responses, meetings etc but he is quite motivated and in a good routine, he aims to have it all done by 1pm but of course that depends on the day. He is done school officially June 26, so we've got a while to go yet. Working from home is going ok, there are a lot of nights that I log in if there is stuff that I need to focus on, those days seem long but I feel accomplished at the end of the day. I hope everyone is doing well! |

It’s raining here so I think we’ll be inside today. My sister had a dr’s appt this morning so she brought my nephew over. He’s currently watching Land Before Time with my two.

On one had it'll be nice to not have that one more thing to accomplish daily but on the other hand it'll be another time of transition where the three of us have to get into, yet another, routine. |

It’s missing a couple channels I would at least like on demand access too, which is why I’m leaning towards Hulu live. I think I’ll do the free trial to make sure it will have what we need before deciding. |

We made the move from VA to FL in late May but are hanging at my parents’ until we close on our new house 6/15. Our stuff will be delivered the 17th, so not much longer! My overall mood and attitude is already much better being back in the sunshine state |

I got a call from the surgery center about H's upcoming procedure in July. Ummmm, I didn't know he was scheduled for surgery in July. That's what I get for sending MH to the last ENT appointment.
Anyway, the amount she quoted me is considerably lower than any of the his other surgeries. Good thing we switched the kids to MH's insurance this year. I called the ENT and had them give me a quote. They don't have the contracted rate on file but she looked up a similar procedure and it was still considerably lower than usual. She won't be able to give me an exact amount until they bill insurance after the procedure.
Even though it will still cost me probably over $1000, I think I might just go ahead and do it. $1000 is way better than $4000 and I won't feel guilty for leaving a tube in his ear later on.

Thats so amazing for your sister flamingo! Wishing her a happy and healthy 9 months! Good to "see" you vino! I submitted a grocery order for the same time as Mallory's afternoon nap. And I have some clothes to drop at the resale store. J has his first baseball game Saturday. And then a game Monday, Wednesday and next Saturday 😬 |

tgrimes I'm glad you finally got some kind of good news. WTH to your H not mentioning surgery? Why are men so oblivious? I immediately called to ask him about it. He said he didn't schedule a surgery, he only scheduled a follow up appointment that we could cancel if he wasn't complaining about pain or EIs. But when I talked to the ENTs nurse she said she was surprised she hadn't heard from me to confirm the surgery. I told her what MH said and she said no, they definitely scheduled the surgery. We had a good laugh about how dumb men are and from now on, if MH ever takes him to an appt again, I will follow up with her later. |

Well, after 10 calls I got a maybe that someone can come look at my ac today. The rest were all sometime next week. If I can’t get someone during the day then I’ll get someone who can come after hours because it’s going to be back up into the 90s this weekend and my 9 months pregnant self can’t handle that. vino hi! I’m glad things are going as well as can be expected. flamingo that’s so exciting! I hope this pregnancy goes very well for her. tgrimes I’m glad the surgery is so much less expensive that you were expecting. |
