Wow aries that's one hell of a temper tantrum from your DCP. I'd be so super pissed about her saying that stuff to DS. And the fact that she's blocked you and won't discuss your deposit, I would definitely consider cancelling June's check and just paying the difference instead. That's all a huge level of unnecessary stress right now.

Baby did well yesterday with all the scans and tests so we are going in for the transfusion in a couple hours. 33w1d today and I will try to hop in sometime this afternoon with an update!

danib yeah I think that’s partially why it’s even more stressful is this is not the person I thought she was and I thought we had a better relationship than that. It makes me sad. But also pissed because we need to do what’s right for our family and I would hope she would have understood that! I hope all goes well with the treatment fikafairy ! Please update when you can ❤️

aries That's quite the temper tantrum from a grown adult! I'm sorry she was involving YS too - that's extra not cool.

Checking back in - still pregnant! Transfusion went well and he wasn’t as anemic as they were expecting so it should be the only one we have to do before delivery!

txaggie08 I don’t usually take what he says as the complete truth but he was telling me all these things that I knew she was planning but that he didn’t know about it and it made me so mad! I’m slowly getting over it as we are done and he’s done going there, it just is so upsetting - be an adult! fikafairy that’s so awesome! Glad everything went well and he’s not as anemic as thought. He will stay put for longer than anticipated now?

I really love that colour! I can never make a decision either haha, but I think you made a good one, it looks cozy! The ottoman will be awesome too so you can put your legs up if needed. We used Dhs lazy boy last time and are planning on that again because it was comfy (I could even curl up and sleep in it), even if it’s kind of ugly, and because then I don’t need to make a decision on a new one haha!

I would honestly love a lazy boy. My sister used one with her son and it was so comfortable!

aries hopefully! We still have to watch carefully the next couple weeks because we anticipate the blood count will keep dropping until birth, but since he wasn’t as anemic it means we won’t have to do the procedure again. He will probably need one on the outside but after 35 weeks risks of delivery are lower than the risks of the procedure itself.

aries that chick is something. Sorry she is acting like a fool and good riddance to her. We have a couch with recliners on the end and I much prefer nursing there than the glider. So comfy.

I seem to have lost all patience this week. I think being home with my children for 8 or whatever weeks is getting to all of us. DD1 is really misbehaving, doing things she knows she’s not supposed to and picking on her sister. DD2 is very sensitive so she cries and whines all the damn time. I just need a couple days without them here. Good news is that my dad and stepmom get back from AZ at the end of next week so I should be able to pawn the girls off on them a few times 🤞🏻. MIL is loosening up so I may also be able to get her to take them for an afternoon.
At my last OB appt she mentioned that I should start weaning off my Zoloft before the baby comes. I don’t think that’s a great idea with how irritable I am lately. But of course I want what’s best for the baby.
Also, today I’ve been more crampy and have more pelvic pressure. Baby and I need to chill.

trtlcrzy yes, way too much togetherness lately! Re: Zoloft, is it supposed to be safer when pregnant than BFing or something? You would think it would be the other way around?

Not trtlcrzy but I think it’s so the baby is weaned off of it rather than being born and essentially the baby’s body going through withdrawal. From what I’ve read the transfer for breast milk is extremely minimal.

I'm sending the boys to the ILs again tomorrow for a few days. Honestly hoping to just go in labour while they are gone. I feel like my pelvis is going to crack in half at any moment. Plus back to vomiting again. I'm done. My doctor said today that she will do a sweep next week if I don't go into labour on my own by then.

She said that I should come down off it so the baby doesn’t have withdrawals. It’s safe for both pregnancy and breastfeeding.

Ugh sorry trtlcrzy, I only have one at home and its only been for two weeks (not 8) but it gets worse everyday - hes getting bored, i'm still trying to work, he knows how to push my buttons, I feel guilty not doing stuff with him and being on calls all day and I know he wants more attention, so I can only imagine how 8 weeks of that would be a lot to handle for anyone, let alone someone who is near the end of a pregnancy! Commiseration to you! How much longer do you have at work? Although going to work is probably a nice "break" from all of that, its also a physical job (right?) so not much better. danib, I lifted my leg to put my pants on the other day and literally thought my pelvis broke in half it was the worst pain ever. I now sit on the bed to put my pants on . Fingers crossed baby comes this weekend! I feel like today is Friday, but tonight DS went to the grandparents so it kind of it haha! I only have 4.5 working days left - countdown is on. This was the first time he could hug them and actually go hang out with them so he was super excited and it was so sweet to see their reunion. It was so sad when he asked me yesterday if he could hug them today and if he had to wear a mask. He woke us up at 6AM today and was asking every twenty mins (for 9 hours) if it was time to go to their house yet.

My job isn’t physical, just a desk job. It’s a nice break away from the kids for the 14hrs a week I work.

trtlcrzy, can you take on more hours? Just kidding but I really hope things start getting easier on you for the remaining time of your pregnancy. Where is your State at in terms of re-opening/ number of cases?

Where is your State at in terms of re-opening/ number of cases? My state actually never officially closed, the governor is kind of an idiot. But my state isn’t doing too bad, although my county is the worst. Things are gradually opening up, like parks and the zoo. But I can’t really go anywhere that requires a lot of walking or I get a lot of BH. Mostly I just want to pawn my kids off on other people. I texted MIL to ask if she would take them for a few hours tomorrow, which she agreed to, so at least I will have that break. And then I work this weekend again.

That's awesome even just for a little bit! Enjoy your break tomorrow, maybe your girls will even enjoy the change and come back a bit calmer. I hear you on not being able to walk long distances, so much pain, I can barely walk to get the mail before my pelvis seizes up. If you can at least go to the park and sit on a bench while they play too, that might be good?

So I just watch them from the deck.

fikafairy great news!! txaggie08 the only other thing I brought to the hospital is 2 receiving blankets. My infant car seat doesn’t have a good head support thing so I’ve used receiving blankets rolled up to make sure his head didn’t roll around too much in the car. danib fx you go into labor as you want to! Is YH home yet? The end of pregnancy was awful for me too and I couldn’t wait to get on with it.

Especially with having a newborn I don’t want to do anything to jeopardize my health and risk being separated from my baby due to covid so I completely get staying away even if they open parks.
