My kids liked this one too, but I’d forgotten about Trumps cameo in that one until his stupid face was on my screen and I had to walk away

E.T Harry and the Hendersons Space Jam Home Alone Freaky Friday Karate Kid She half watched back to the future ET used to scare the beejesus out of me when I was little so we are not doing that one for now. Probably a me thing. Yeah the first time there were a few scenes she put her hands up, but now she loves it and forgot that she was slightly scared the first time because she acts like it is no big deal

My kids like me don't mind if movies are a little spooky, they're currently almost 7 and 4. But I showed K Ghostbusters when she was 4, and she loved it. It remains a fave. They loved Home Alone 1 and 2 Next up is my childhood faves Little Giants and Mrs. Doubtfire. Honestly, all the 90s Robin Williams stuff will be shown. 🤷🏿♀️ It was deeply offensive to my soul that DS did not understand the significance of Robin Williams. H and I told him about all the stuff in our area named after him and how important he is. I really need to incorporate this into the homeschooling curriculum.

I made my kid watch this one because I like to pick movies I want to watch too. Speaking of, I wonder if The Babysitter's Club would be good.

I will just keep remembering movies. We are a 80's/90's movie and music household it seems.

Others not mentioned are Matilda, Jurrasic Park, Ghostbusters. I was worried about JP for my 6 year old, but I guess enough Wild Kratts and the animation being a bit dated was enough for it not be scary.
We've watched Charlie and the chocolate factory (newer version) too. Thinking we might try the Witches soon.
ETA I think we are still a few years away from Girls Just Want to Have Fun, but I looooove that movie.

DD will be 9 in a few weeks:
She has seen: Hook Princess Bride Jurassic Park Jaws Flubber Honey I shrunk the Kids Grease
Those were all recent. Her 3 favorites from the list were: Hook, Jurassic Park and Princess Bride.
She was very unimpressed with Grease and Flubber.

There’s just something about that movie that gets me.

Oh yes, Troop Beverly Hills and Matilda are a hit here.
I will never ever show DD My Girl. She already has a phobia of bees. I seriously think she will be traumatized for weeks.
