If school is not back in session in the fall, I will probably just drop B off in the parking lot everyday, lol. Our teacher/school's expectations are very realistic and appropriate but he is not loving these video-lessons they've rolled out in the last couple weeks. He gets antsy and doesn't pay close attention (can't blame him), starts fidgeting, I get frustrated, C comes in wanting something so we have to pause, rinse and repeat. Ha, I keep saying that too. Good luck kid, you’re going wether school is open or not.

My sister and BiL want to demand the remainder of their membership costs back from Costco because they don't want to wear masks. God forbid someone asks you to do something selfless.

inthekitty A+ gif use. Costco can get all my money (as they currently do). It basically their stores safer for everyone, so I'm more likely to go there. I did go Sunday night, and it was a lovely experience...I wish I had more time bc I needed to get a printer and it was closing...and $50 more online than in store. I bought enough for another 6 weeks at least.

Hello hello - work is kicking my butt. This one stakeholder is just too much. I literally can do nothing right for her. Thankfully everyone knows she is a handful, but man.
Kids are fine, clippers should arrive tomorrow so I will attempt haircuts for j and mh. It's getting out if control for both of them.

My hospital is adding more restrictions: mask for everyone now. This makes me feel like things are going to be ramping up at the hospital. Fun.

Visitors/patients didn’t have to wear a mask. Also the non direct patient care employees were encouraged to wear a cloth mask but not required. Now everyone has to wear them. Our hospitalization rate has been pretty low. Our daily email said we have 28 covid patients in our hospital right now. So my guess is they are expecting things to ramp up since the governor is pushing things to go “back to normal”.

inthekitty that's good to know about Epic Books. Cadence's teacher sent us a free trial link. If we like it I'll probably pay for a membership.

Didnt y’all have a pork plant or something close by have a lot of cases, or is that far from you? I think I thought when you had to wear one, that meant everyone in your hospital had to wear one. I feel like it’s been forever since I’ve been at work without a mask.

I feel like it’s been forever since I’ve been at work without a mask. Yep, that’s in my city. They’ve been closed for a couple weeks but are working on reopening. They did a massive free testing thing for their employees and family yesterday. The total cases in the entire state is 2721, but only 895 are still infected. A vast majority of those is from the pork plant. I have been required to wear a surgical mask since pretty much the beginning because I’m pregnant. My coworkers had the option of wearing a cloth mask if they wanted to.

Today I emailed little league to tell them we wouldn’t be participating this season and to keep our fees for next season. They are starting practice next week.

So far I think it's the only one I'd pay for out of pocket. The Read to Me feature is awesome. They have classics from our childhood, plenty of current books, and educational nonfiction ones.

I just spent 3 hours on the phone with my bff. MH must regret telling me to take my time now that he’s sleeping on the couch. Today I drank margaritas in the car at my sister’s house. I’m ready to have my real life back.

nam2013, congratulations! I wish you an uneventful 9 months. How have you been feeling? I’ve can’t complain, nausea, but more like the ‘hangover all day every day’ than being sick & sooo tired. Working at home came in handy for both, I could take breaks and naps. I did find it terrifying, every little cramp got me all riled up. So hopefully now that we’ve had confirmation that it looks good I can enjoy it a bit more .

Just catching up, but CONGRATS nam2013! Wishing you a happy and healthy pregnancy! flamingo I threaten Evie currently that I'm going to go drop her at school at the normal time and pick her up normal time, with her lunch box. Kid is eating me out of the house and driving me insane.
