Tired. Very tired.
We had bad weather yesterday. A tornado hit a friends ranch. So MH went to help clean up debris, fix fence, round up animals, cut trees, ect. He got home at 10pm and then I left to go help our campground hosts pack up and leave the campground because the water was rising fast. Got home at midnight. S woke at 5.

Morning!
I’m making pancakes; I told B I would do it if he played Barbies with C 😂 So far they are playing nicely so I can get breakfast done in peace.
We have a showing at 11 and have to pick up mH’s truck and drop off a rug for cleaning, so at least that gives us something to do other than driving aimlessly!

My friend got my some strawberry starts this weekend so I'll probably swing by her house so I can plant those.
WFH--my main goal today is to work on my security clearance renewal. There are several forms and the main one is 130 pages. 😬 I need to list a lot of references so I might PM a couple of you I've met in person for contact info if you don't mind. There's a chance someone might contact you to attest I'm not a creep...then again my clearance expired 2 years ago apparently and they're just getting around to this now so...🤷♀️

Our seasonal employees have gotten calls from OPM investigators AFTER their season was done and they were no longer working wanting to come meet with them for their in person interview for their BI. When they tell the investigator they are no longer on the roles, it just gets canceled. They must be slightly back logged 😂. I was due for my 5 year update 2 years ago also. Still haven’t gotten anything. |

Oh and let’s not forget, it is liberation day today over here. Our city was liberated by (mostly) Canadian troops. So thank you my Canadian friends and allied troops for giving my city its freedom 75 years ago.  |

Morning.
Dropped M2 off at daycare and asked them how the summer and fall would go for him since he turns 3 next month. They are planning to include academics this summer since the last two months have been chaotic and a lot of kids were out. I got to request his teacher for August when he moves up to the preK side. I feel better now that I know what to expect for him going forward, even though it can change on a whim.
I go in to do temp screenings for a few hours this afternoon. Nothing else on the agenda today.

Yay yay yay nam2013!! I’m so thrilled for you. What is your due date? Did you tell the kids? Yeah. Except for my parents (who I told three weeks ago after an early U/S and my best friend who knew about a minute after I tested positive), really wanted the kids to be the first to know and tell everyone. They are elated, seriously beyond adorable, kissing my belly and talking about where to make room in our bed so that the baby would fit in there too. ETA and November 24th I mean, we already have about a dozen (no joke) birthdays from close family members in November, might as well add another;). |

tgrimes Are you at the office? How was traffic and Houston this morning. The state is mostly open now, right? Yes, I'm at the office. No traffic though. Not everything is open yet. I don't think our Houston office will open until May 18th at the earliest. It all depends on what the county judge does in the next couple of weeks. |

It’s very sunny but cold here today. This past weekend was such a tease!
I didn’t want to do another grocery delivery so I’m making a modifiable Cinco de Mayo meal – shredded chicken, fry bread, black beans and rice and avocados. I’m going to try my hand at Mexican chocolate ice cream for dessert.
I do have the ingredients for frozen margaritas if that fails.

It turned chilly here too guster. Do not like. I had conveniently planned for enchiladas tonight, forgetting it was 5/5, so we’re having that and corn and black bean salad. And margaritas. |
