Not iron. I actually have been prescribed iron (900mg per day!) for many years now which keeps my levels decent. Just chalking it up to this pregnancy being harder than my previous ones... Bummer, I’m sorry. Hopefully the rest of the pregnancy isn’t too bad. 36 weeks today, so the end is in sight!

I’ve started with night sweats too and it really makes me dread the PP ones as well. I’ve been having a lot of contractions over the last 2 days. They aren’t regular but they just won’t go away. I was up for 2 hours in the middle of the night with them. I was 36 weeks yesterday. I hope this doesn’t go on another 4 weeks.

Since I’ve chilled out the contractions/Bh have lessened, which is nice. Baby just need to wait another week for you and then it’s time to get the show on the road!

I also noticed last night after I got out of the shower that my boobs are starting to get somewhat hard, which means they are ramping up for nursing. I am like a cow when it comes to milk production so when the floodgates open it’s going to be fun.

I didn’t have PP night sweats the first time around so it just recently clicked to me that I was having them this time around. I kept worrying that the babies were going to overheat because of how hot I keep getting at night but realized it was just me. Gross.

I do tend to get hot/flushed the day my milk comes in though.

I really don’t remember it being too big of a problem the last times. I also realized that the nurse warned me that the steroid shots could cause them/worsen them so this is probably normal at this point.

I've been getting this adorable/fun shooting and stabbing pains straight through the nipple like once a day. I'm assuming this is why! I didn't think it started this early - and the leaking has started too, ever so slightly. I'm wondering if it's because the last time I delivered, I was 27 weeks?

Is anyone planning to use a Medela PIS? I had purchased this extra parts set and carrying bag when I was pregnant with DD in 2016, and it's been sitting in my closet unopened since then since I didn't BF/pump at all with the loss. My insurance wouldn't cover the Medela PIS fully for some reason, so I wound up getting an Ameda this time around.
So basically I have an unopened bag of the flanges, tubes, and what I think are the valves/membranes. Can anyone use them that I can send them to?

My second was a December baby, so it wasn't hot in the house, so I'm not looking forward to how bad these are going to be in May/June.

It's a good pump if anyone is debating getting it.
