Weeks/Due Date - 35w2d / June 6
The Good - the boys are with the ILs for a few nights (we were given permission to join one other household) so I've had lots of time to just relax. It's been quite boring but I definitely needed it.
The Bad - bouts of nausea and headaches are back. It's like 1st tri all over again, except with heartburn and a giant belly.
Milestones/Appointments - OB on Thursday
To Do List - just keep the baby in for another few weeks.

Weeks/Due Date - 32w1d, 6/28
The Good - everyone is healthy and mostly happy. Distance learning is so close to being done, only a few more weeks.
The Bad - I did something to my left shoulder so it’s been sore since Friday afternoon, the chiro did some work on it this morning so hopefully it’ll stop bothering me soon. Yesterday I took an hour and a half nap and that resulted in me tossing and turning all night to finally fall asleep around 3:30/4. No more naps for me.
Milestones/Appointments - OB on Wednesday
To Do List - buy the rest of the things we need before baby comes, like the car seat. I’ve been pretty chill about it but since the end is getting closer I’m feeling anxious to just have it all ready.

Weeks/Due Date - 35+ 3, June 5
The Good - 1 month to go!!!
The Bad - I’m trying to enjoy this because it will be our last but I’m so done being pregnant.
Milestones/Appointments - Next appointment is at 37 weeks. I talked my OB into skipping 36 weeks. I opted out of the 36 week growth US as well. They are usually not very accurate anyhow. He did say that due to my history of quick labors and that we live an hour from the hospital he would recommend weekly cervix checks just so I know how quickly to get to the hospital.
To Do List - Pack my hospital bag, pack the diaper bag and install/rearrange car seats

Weeks/Due Date - 36 weeks/May 30
The Good - Almost there! We took a family 4.5 mile walk this weekend and it wasn't terrible. I'm glad I can still get out and do stuff right now.
The Bad - My reflux is so bad if I don't take the max dose of Nexium. I have to make sure I manage it now so it goes away after baby is born (I don't have any issues with reflux when I don't have a person smashing all of my organs).
Milestones/Appointments - My next appointment is Thursday.
To Do List - Break it to my parents that they won't be able to watch our kids when I'm in the hospital because their idea of social distancing does not line up with what my family has been doing. I feel like this is going to result in some serious hard feelings and am dreading this conversation. It will likely be postponed until the last minute...

My BIL and SIL will take them. They live a little further away (a little over an hour), but have been doing the same thing we have been with respect to social distancing. DH has already talked to his brother about it and they're ok with it - plus they get to see the baby in person first this way. I'm hoping this will be like my first two where I'm induced for going past my due date so we can coordinate an easy drop off. Plus, school will be done by that point so nobody has to worry about that for DD or their kids.

I forgot the joy of being this pregnant. My whole body aches and I did basically nothing today. I also think her head is now down in my pelvis or something, because that area is getting more uncomfortable. I have no idea which way she’s facing, but I’ll ask my doc at my appt in a couple days. I also made a terrible mistake and ate something I shouldn’t have for supper, and now I’m paying for it in reflux and bloating. I’m going to sleep very shortly, I’m over this day.

magaroni I’m with you that I’m trying to enjoy this since I know it’s my last pregnancy. But I’m with you and trtlcrzy - this part of pregnancy is no fun. Weeks/due date - 35 weeks tomorrow The good - trying to come up with something here I mean, in the grand scheme of things we’re incredibly lucky, but working full time from home with 3 kids and trying to get the older two to do some schoolwork is just already really old. It’s been nearly two months and school doesn’t end for 7 more weeks for us, so the earliest summer camps - if they happen at all - won’t be for nearly two months. Daycare for DS2 should open sooner but he’s annoying me the least. DH is also annoying me - his bonuses went away so now I’m making a lot more money and we need my income a lot more, yet he ends up working way more than me and I end up doing most of the childcare and all the homeschooling while super pregnant. The bad - my left hip/leg have started to really hurt. I had been working out still everyday but now all of a sudden it hurts to stand and walk. Also I’m enormous still, obviously. My dad walked into our house over the weekend while I was wearing my swimsuit and burst out laughing - thanks, Dad Appts - a week from today is my first regular OB appt since 28 weeks. My only appt since has been a growth scan a couple weeks ago. To do - wash baby clothes, pack hospital bag.

I was just looking at the spreadsheet and the 3 team greens are next. I’m excited to find out the sex of the babies. Do you ladies have any feels one way or another?

Weeks/Due Date - the babies are 2.5 weeks old.
The Good - the babies are wonderful. Truly, I mean yeah they are still newborns but so much more chill than my first born. At their two week weight/well check they each have already gained a pound so the doctor is very impressed with their growth.
The Bad - I think I am veering into PPD territory. I am going to talk to my therapist about it tomorrow. C/s recovery is much slower than I would like also. I am ready to feel normal again.
Milestones/Appointments - The babies have their one month well check on the 19th. I have my 6 week follow up on May 28.
To Do List -

After DD was born and I was in complete shock that she wasn't a boy like I was *sure* she was, I've given up on guessing. We only have a girl name picked, so that's something...

willow I'm glad the babies are great but sorry you're experiencing PPD. On a separate note, I know you said night 1 went well with the snoos - how have they been since? The SNOOs are working really well! We got the go ahead from the pedi to move to cue based feeding instead of waking them every 3 hours to feed and with the SNOOs we have been getting 3.5-4.5 hour stretches between night feedings which is great for this age. And they have definitely worked to soothe them a few times. I noticed they were doing a ton of grunting every time we laid them back down from eating, so I suspected a bit of reflux. The SNOO company makes leg lifters to raise the head side of the bassinet for this reason but of course they were all sold out. A few women on my twin fb group said they used a 2x4 underneath instead and it worked, so we tried that last night. It made a huge difference in the length of time they grunted and fell back asleep which was awesome.

Weeks/Due Date - 32w 2d/June 27th
The Good - Baby did great during the NST last week. I haven’t thrown up in awhile!
The Bad - My doctor is stressing me out. After changing my plan of care, the doctor they had me see had no clue why they changed my plan. Then I got a call Monday cancelling the second extra appointment they insisted on, having me see the doctor next week but still “couldn’t” tell me why everything kept changing. I’m pissed.
Milestones/Appointments - NST next week
To Do List - Pack hospital and diaper bag. The nursery is done and the car seat installed. The house is clean. So all is good there.

Thanks willow. I think I’m renting one 😬 we’ll see if DH thinks I’m crazy. That’s what I’m doing as well. There is no way I could justify paying outright for 2 SNOOs, and with my student loan payments suspended til September, I am basically not out any money from my budget lol. Plus, if it doesn’t work for your baby, you only pay the one month rental guarantee and can return it any time. Let me know if/when you get it and have baby, there are a couple tips about settings for the snoo for newborns.

I’m leaning towards girl....but I’ve been team green for my 3 previous children and the 2 that I had a feeling about were wrong so who knows! My kids all really want a brother.

Last time with DS we were also team green and I felt pretty strongly he was a boy. This time I have no clue! I have moments where I am so sure it’s a girl then get panicked because we don’t have a good boy name haha so basically I don’t know. I catch myself saying he a lot so who knows?! Anyone with same sex babies have completely different pregnancy symptoms? My two pregnancies are so different that’s the only reason I feel it might be a girl. Edit -* I feel like I asked this before lol I’m sorry my memory has gone to mush!

I have carried the same with all of them. SPD is new with her, I had more back pain with my second. I’d say my first boy was the easiest, but I was 7 years younger and I wasn’t dealing with morning sickness throughout my whole pregnancy with him either. So I guess they have all been different honestly.

With DS I was sick until the end of first trimester but carried similarly to DD1. I didn’t want to guess with him because I was so wrong with DD1 and it actually took me a week to get used to the idea of having a daughter. With DD2 I was sick until like 18 weeks so thought it was another boy since I had no sickness with DD1. I was nauseous until about 14 weeks this time so who knows!!

I was ten times as sick with this pregnancy in the first trimester so I was convinced it was a girl....until the u/s that showed it was twins and that’s when my doctor said twins means double the hormones so double the sickness lol. Then of course the rest of the pregnancy was different after that so I have no way of knowing if the symptoms would have been different with a girl!

This baby is also a boy. The pregnancy started with "morning" sickness (that actually came at night), migraines all thru first tri, so so much fatigue (like if I didn't have DS home with me I could nap off and on all day, and still go to bed at 930pm!), and I'm craving carbs & sweets all. the. time. So yes, my pregnancies have been very different for me!
