Morning! Another annoying day at home. nam2013 I would just call them a small cake. There is a store here that makes bundt cakes, they have a small one for individuals, they call it a bundtlet.

@nam, Maybe a petit four? I would just call it an individual sized or a small cake, too.

Morning!
About to start a little work with Josie and Charlie and then I think we’re going to get started on a loaf of bread. If I don’t see our mail carrier today, we have to take trip out to the post office’s outside mailbox to mail the taxes we owe. I think we’ll all go. Living large here!

@nam, Some of the ones on the bottom looks so interesting. I love a fruit tart. On the top row I would just consider that a slice of cake/pie

nam2013 That’s a slice of cake to me. A local restaurant here sells a lot of different slices in their bakery. I have been thinking about pie lately. There is a Buttermilk Sky here and I kinda want to go buy some little individual pies. I’m not even a pie person, but I have been all about desserts lately.

@nam, Some of the ones on the bottom looks so interesting. I love a fruit tart. On the top row I would just consider that a slice of cake/pie Some a choux pastry filled with all kinds of flavours, some are Mille feuille, some are indeed just slices of cake, some are wrapped in marsepein and some are puff pastry shells that are filled with fruit. You often buy a assortment to bring to work on your birthday or something, so everyone can pick what they like .

Morning.
Our refrigerator is definitely not cold enough. I wanted to wait until this morning to check because I thought maybe because the boys are in and out of it so much, it didn’t have a chance to keep as cold as it should. Thermometer said 53. 🤦🏽♀️ The freezer is still fine. I need to call someone to come look at it and hope it’s an easy fix. I made the mistake of looking on the Costco website last night at refrigerators. A new fridge would be nice, but I just don’t want to have to spend money on that now.

Morning. I think we are on the upswing for temperatures now, thank goodness. More of the same today, except I have to go to work tonight. nam2013 there is a bakery here that makes little cakes like that and they call them petit gateau.

lahdeedah, past, girl, use that stimulus check for the fridge. It'll be like you didn't spend money on it.

Another day of the same here. Yesterday I picked up the girls' math books so that should make school go a little smoother. Hopefully...
In the evening probably bike riding which is Cass' big thing now and baseball which Maddie is into. She proclaimed herself to be a "homerun Sally" yesterday. 😆
We watched Free Willy last night (Hulu). They loved it.

Morning. Mom of the year here. L rolled off my bed this morning We have a high bed, but luckily carpet underneath. he cried hard for about 30 seconds, then sad cried for a bit but seems okay... except super fussy from his top teeth now trying to come through. He has his 6 month well check later this morning. I whipped up a no- sew mask to wear to the clinic, but not looking forward to having to do that. We only have 2 confirmed cases in our county, so I’m not super worried about going to the clinic, but I’m glad they’re still taking all precautions.

Didn't someone here accidentally freeze milk? Was it good once thawed? I had 2 gallons in our mini fridge in the basement and now they're frozen!

He saw a couple of my spell bottles and thought they were cool so maybe we’ll let him do some of those.

And she’s pretty picky with that stuff. Maybe Kim’s experience was a fluke. Either way, only 1 way to find out...

If I recall I think Kim's milk only partially froze due to where it was in the fridge. I think if it's fully frozen then shaken well it'd probably be fine.

Hello, have a meeting with an impossible stakeholder shortly. I'm a bit anxious my internet will die since it's been resetting whenever I'm on meetings.
Otherwise just another day here. I ordered j some new sneakers, Crocs, and slides on DSW last night, I think they are having a 40% off sale through today and he has one pair of worn out sneakers right now that fit.. I have no idea how to return, so hoping they all fit okay. I also ordered some stamps. I'm really sad that USPS is a bargaining chip, it's an essential service.

My electrician guy only works on commercial refrigerators, called another place and their first availability it Tuesday. 😩 He said he has been getting a lot of calls lately. I had to come in to work today to fill in, and coworker told me to check the coils for dust, so MH will do that while I’m here. I’m about to call another company.
My question is would you go 4-5 days without a cold refrigerator? Is my milk and eggs still good with the temp at 58 degrees?
