Morning. We played musical chairs, made felt balls to make baby chicks from this morning, read tons of stories, sang, drew, played outside for 1.5 hours, had breakfast, fruit, snacks and lunch, how is t only two?! The weather is lovely, which has been our saving grace these last weeks.

Morning! I'm at work. MH is home with the kids and I'll get home around 7pm, take a quick shower and then he'll go into work until midnight or so.... so he has a looong day ahead of him.

Hello from my kitchen table! Evie is still sleeping and H is drinking coffee on the sofa. He goes back to work Friday and I'm not going to lie...I'm pretty happy about it. I think he's going to pressure wash the outside of the fence today, so that should keep him outside all day and Evie part of the day.

MJ always sleeps until at least 7:30. She was up at 6:15 this morning. So I'm dragging. And of course its now 8:30 and she's already tired and grumpy and fighting a nap. I have a grocery pick up at 11 so I'll grab take out lunch while we're out. Kinda want pizza.

Hello from the other siiiiiiiidddde.
I have no idea what's in store for today other than having Cass practice on her bike more.
It will hopefully be nice out again.
If you want some entertainment the last few pages of the blinds has groups of celebs to choose who to be quarantined with. It's amusing.

Morning!
Another nice day here...high around 80. Of course we're plunging back into the 50s for the next few days so! We are going to turn on the hot tub for the kids this afternoon (of course I'm sure they'll end up in the ice bath that is the pool, too). Maybe I'll make a margarita and get in.
I feel like I hit a wall yesterday. IDK why everything got to me all of a sudden, but it did. A good night's sleep helped. I need to go to the grocery store today and I am really looking forward to getting out.

We had a 'scare' yesterday...DH landed from a flight and found out the flight school was shut down. With the move and everything, he was panicking, b/c if you transfer flight schools part-way through a syllabus, you lose 50% of your accumulated hours. So that's like, $15-20K worth of hours he'd have to re-do. :hork: He only needs 5 more hours (1-2 flights). Thankfully the owner of the flight school apparently appealed to the governor and got permission to stay open, so HUGE sigh of relief here, DH can finish this week and be DONE. I cannot wait.

Mallory is back asleep. Its gorgeous here today so I shoved the boys outside so I can eat breakfast in peace and journal a bit. Going to get my groceries soon. Hopefully I get most of what I ordered. Then I need to take inventory and meal plan the next few weeks.

Dammit Walmart grocery pickup. You're failing me. Out of oranges, out of pancake mix. I wanted to do a brunch like nam2013 for Easter. I may have to go to the store later. |

My firm laid off 70% of our employees in the Houston office this week. I spoke to several of my friends yesterday and they were devastated. This is so awful.

I'm so sorry tgrimes . Any chance some of these folks will be rehired when things reopen? Hopefully they will all be eligible for unemployment and checks from the Fed. I lost my job during the recession in 08 and it was horrible. I pray we will be able to rebound quickly from this once the economy fires back up. |

I’m currently work. L is eating breakfast and E is having a meltdown. The 4 teeth coming on are really bothering her and she loses her temper quickly. I have a work call in 15 minutes to troubleshoot a iPhone problem.

The only problem with that is so many people in Texas are trying to apply at the same time and they can't get through. I'm sure it's the same in other states, as well. The governor says he's going to get more employees over to the Workforce Commission, but in the meantime, some people are able to get through online at 2 am. I think today they're trying to designate hours by area codes. This is insane. |

tgrimes,I'm sorry, We were in the same boat a few weeks ago. It is awful. I'm glad you are safe for now and hopefully those people can all collect and be ok for a while. flamingo glad it all worked out As to food etc we are making due with whatever we can get from grocery deliveries and the local drive up places. Given how bad things are in NJ I am just refusing to go in anywhere. The last store I stepped into was my beloved Target on March 13. Boy I miss it.

Good morning from the doctor’s office. I’m currently halfway through waiting to get my blood drawn for the glucose test. DH is home with the girls. My doctor said the peak here is supposed to be mid June, so that sucks. Looks like I’ll be starting my mat leave 2 weeks before my due date to self quarantine. It’s a bummer though because it takes away 2 weeks from after baby is born. This afternoon we have zoom dance lessons and then H’s teacher is doing a google meetup for her class after dinner.

So this is an odd time at work. I just troubleshot a phone just now. In normal times I would say let’s upgrade but because we shouldn’t spend any money and his phone could function after my fix (which wasn’t a great fix) I had to tell him to let us know how his phone is working the next 24 hours. Plus I don’t know if he’s furloughed or not after the 18th so I don’t know if he will need it right now.
