Morning.
I just sat in a car line for 25 minutes to get free sanitizer made by a local distillery. It’s the second time they did it here and since they added more locations for pickup I decided to try to get some and I was successful! I feel like I won the lottery.
Garage purge and organization today. I hope we can get through most of it.

I promised myself I’d be in a more positive mood today but I woke up with a migraine, DH has a backache we are hoping is not a kidney stone, and DS1 has an upset stomach. I took Excedrin which helped the headache but makes me feel jittery. I’m lowering my expectations of myself today.

That is awful tgrimes. I don’t know what kind of law you all do (it is a law firm, right?) but is there projection that business will be slow after the fact? It’s very interesting how this is all playing out business wise. Some areas are surging and other to a complete halt. And not just grocery stores vs restaurants. My work has gotten busier because of all the prisoners filing for early release. Our court handles the filings but often they go on probation next so it’s busy all over. Sadly our bankruptcy court is surging as well. |

wedding We're a delinquent collection firm. My side is property taxes but the firm handles fees & fines, toll road, medical liens, etc. When things are back to normal, our business will pick up. But who knows how long that will take.

Hi, happy whatever day it is. Colin had a Zoom with his entire class, which was pure chaos. Entertaining for sure! You were talking about assignments the other day. Colin usually has 5-7 online from his teacher, an assignment or two for whatever would be his special that day, plus he journals in the folder we first got before they were up and running on Google classroom. It's A LOT, and he's fortunately coming at it ahead. I can't imagine how this even works for older kids with more complex topics or the kids who were already behind. And I have a lot of friends who teach, so I know they are between a rock and a hard place. This sucks for everyone. I'm so sorry about all your coworkers tgrimes. |

I failed the glucose test by a lot. So now I get to do the 3 hour. I’m waiting to get called by the office for them to tell me. kim22 sorry you’re having a rough day already. |

As to food etc we are making due with whatever we can get from grocery deliveries and the local drive up places. Given how bad things are in NJ I am just refusing to go in anywhere. The last store I stepped into was my beloved Target on March 13. Boy I miss it. This is where I am. Aside from taking MH to the doctor that one day (and staying in the car) the last time I was out was March 12th. I’ve been setting up Instacart orders every 10 days or so, but I dread when they come in because I hate the thought of contamination on the groceries and how much anxiety it produces in me to clean them. |

Good morning from the doctor’s office. I’m currently halfway through waiting to get my blood drawn for the glucose test. DH is home with the girls. My doctor said the peak here is supposed to be mid June, so that sucks. Looks like I’ll be starting my mat leave 2 weeks before my due date to self quarantine. It’s a bummer though because it takes away 2 weeks from after baby is born. This afternoon we have zoom dance lessons and then H’s teacher is doing a google meetup for her class after dinner. Are there rules for support people in the delivery room during birth? New York first was denying partners in birthing suites, but now they have changed their minds and will allow one person in. |

tgrimes I'm sorry about all your coworkers. Hopefully you continue to be safe. On the news last night, they said the State of KS currently has 40 phone operators to handle all the unemployment calls and they're working on training another 35. I feel awful for anyone trying to apply for benefits in this time. flamingo glad your H was able to get good news in the end.

My last trip anywhere was the grocery store on March 16th. Oh, and a trip to Colin's school later that week to pick up his Chromebook. It feels like 84 years...
Also I have been running like a mad woman to stave off stress and I am PMSing pretty hardcore. I just want to crawl up in bed with a bowl of ramen and some terrible Hallmark movies.

Yes, one support person for your whole stay. So dh will be with me and every one else will have to wait to see baby after we get home. |

Guise.
I hate the fucking FIRE tablet. It’s a PITA to navigate. I tied loading Hooked on Phonics and ABC Mouse and the thing is just not intuitive, and since Dude is not familiar with tablets I don’t think he will have the patience for it either.
What are you using?
