Relaxing in the porch swing. It's warm and beautiful out. It would be relaxing if my kids weren't out here...

Somehow- taking away the toys and iPad has been a nonissue. Go figure. M has been better this past week- he still has his moments, but I know it’s going to take more than a week to sort everything out.
As long as they aren’t asking for them, I won’t offer it.
Also M2 is pretty much weaned off the pacifier. He did it for himself after he bit through both of them, and the first day was a lot of crying and whining, but he has been ok ever since. I was dreading it, but it hasn’t been too bad.

I’m sorry for the rough day, @klongoria. trtlcrzy, our town just issued an ordinance that everyone had to wear a mask when they are out in public.

klong11 sorry he is being a bozo On a side note, most pharmacies around here are now delivering meds, even those that didn't offer that service before. My state is #2 in the country so that might not be a thing other places. But something you can look into for next time (not sure how long a supply you were able to get today).

Thanks for the input on the comforters guys. I think I like 1 or 2 best also. I like 3 a lot but agree I would prefer a more neutral color.

The other clinic tested her and the doctor said she thinks she has it. We'll know by the end of the week.

We tried the enchilada casserole from Costco, and I wasn’t expecting much, but it was really good. I didn’t have to add anything to it. It wasn’t heavy at all either. Will be buying again.

I'm sewing masks for my parents and posted on IG and a friend offered to pay for some nc she's a hospice nurse and going in homes. Obviously not letting her pay, but since she lives near my parents, I need to hustle and make them so they can take them when they pick them up.
You all should consider wearing a mask when in any stores, it's to protect others in case you are asymptomatic. I am terrified I gave it to my pediatrician bc I saw her at K's well visit 2 days before I started feeling poorly. A friend in Manhattan with 2 toddlers thinks she had it and described it as an awful hangover with a cough. Also so so grateful I am not in our apartment anymore.

So I guess we all need to get masks now? No way in hell my babies will keep one on anyway.
Atticus would, but there’s not a chance with X and P.

Only if actually going somewhere that you need to think about being 6 feet away from someone. J is excited for me to make him one, but figure we won't be wearing it any time soon. Who knows what the guidance will be once things start opening back up though. Under 2 aren't supposed to wear them.

I have heard the CDC’s recommendation for wearing masks out in public. I still hate them. My older sister is making a batch for my whole family, but at work I’m supposed to wear the paper kind.
Unrelated but I want to buy a bike. Something inexpensive but quality to last me for years. Any recommendations? Also, online shopping for bikes isn’t great because it would be nice to try the size out since I’m so short.

I am absolutely no expert when it comes to bikes, but I had a cruiser years ago, and I’m kicking myself that I didn’t keep it. I think it would be the perfect bike to ride with the little kids.

For something fun to do today, I pulled up the Cincinnati zoo's panda cam. That resulted in getting a full view of a panda pooping. Awesome. Cadence was pretty sure it laid an egg. So that became an educational(?) conversation. 😬

Vent ahead:
So C was in charge of downloading all the apps for L’s school and making sure L is doing his school work most days. He downloaded the wrong Seesaw app so he hasn’t seen most of the assignments.
When I talked to him about it he was like they both looked the same. Right now L is missing 2 assignments from the 3rd quarter his teacher is understanding and if we get the assignments done before 1100 she can grade them quickly because her grades are due at noon to the school. That’s all I needed tomorrow was to stress on his schoolwork. C says he’ll get it done before he leaves for work but I kind of doubt that.

I started wearing mine out to the grocery store last week. Recently, I have felt that I should be wearing gloves, too. When I’m in the store I think about touching all the stuff and the anxiety starts creeping up.

I saw something on fb today about how you shouldn’t wear gloves to the store because you’re just spreading germs and collecting them on the gloves. The virus doesn’t spread through skin so just use hand sanitizer or wash your hands when you leave the store.

I'm hoping I won't need masks for the kids because I don't plan to take them anywhere. If we happen to need to take them to the Dr, they should have a mask to give them. I can't imagine taking them anywhere else!
I was reading that the germs can collect on the outside of the mask (makes sense) so I'm going to be extra careful with touching the mask and such. Especially as I take it off in my office to eat at work.
