We got the official word that kids won’t be going back to school this year. I’m so bummed. I told H but I don’t think she really got it. It could just take her a little time to process the news. Her teacher had scheduled a zoom meeting for the class on Wednesday night so that’ll be good for them all to see each other and talk.

That’s a bummer, trtlcrzy. I have a feeling will all be in that same boat eventually. 😢

You all are very chatty this morning. flamingo, I love that things went to a four-day week. That makes sense for everyone. Although, and I suppose this is a bit of a confession, I did find the last two weeks of weekdays easier than the weekends because we have “school.” It gives us just another thing to do, and the kids like it so it doesn’t feel onerous. Yesterday, I asked Josie if she wanted to do the scholastic reading and writing about ladybugs and they happily watched the videos, read, and did the writing. As for Easter, I placed an Insta cart order to be here on Thursday. I put a bunch of extra choices in my cart in case something is not available, but the plan is a big brunch mid day— fruit, poached salmon, cheese plate, spinach salad and bagels, bacon and poached eggs. I hope the order can deliver because I’m very much looking forward to that meal. I forgot to get small candies to put in the Easter eggs for the hunt. I’m going to try to order something on Amazon now in the hopes that it will be here. Today there is a drive through town parade. The teachers and the administrators have decorated their cars and will be driving through everyone’s streets. They’re due here in about an hour and a half so we’re excited to go to the yard and wave to them. We did ladybugs today too. C couldn’t have cared less 😞

Any more info about tour job tgrimes? It sounds like they are running you ragged so hopefully that means they see your worth.

I feel so overwhelmed when it’s just C and I because I’ve had so much work. I think I may have to start doing some work at night or on the weekends so I don’t feel like an overfilled balloon all day. It’s so hard to tell C I can’t go out right now all the time. And I’m getting snippy so that’s not good.
After work we biked around for about an hour and played a couple of games in the yard. I’ve apparently “graduated” football so I get to use the larger ball tomorrow, but not the official sized one. I’m not sure when C will deem me ready for that.

I enjoyed it! Our choice books come from Raz kids, but their writing comes from the scholastic weekly. I like that it’s a video, a fiction text that is read to them, and a non-fiction they can read on their own. It’s the right amount of time and mixed activity.

Totally random question - has anyone ordered from byourbed.com? I desperately need a new comforter for our bed and I need one that is extra big. I found a few on various sites and upon researching, they all came from this website. I've never heard of them so I'm hoping for some real reviews
If it matters, I found their products at wayfair, kohls, etc.

Sorry for the cancelled school folks and kiddos. The day that news came down here was probably my lowest moment throughout this entire experience.

wedding I spend a majority of my day telling Evie I cant do whatever activity, because I'm working. Doesnt matter that H is here to, it's always "MOM!" I had to tell her that if I dont get my work done, then i will have to go into the office, and that tends to make her understand.

I like number two, jewels. I think I would also like number three if it came in a neutral color.

Mh yelled at me for going to the pharmacy to pick up my prescription. He can go fuck himself as far as I'm concerned. And since I was there I picked up some snack items. He lost his shit asking why I feel I'm immune. Huh? I never said I was, nor do I think I am. The prescription is a necessary item just to get myself out of bed each morning. I told him to just not touch a single item I purchased. And to go fuck himself.
Then, I heard him on a zoom call with his office and he said I was keeping the kid occupied. Keeping her occupied? At this point I'm providing her with an education to be ready for first grade(she is behind. Verbally she is awesome, it's just getting that info on and off paper that seems to be the problem). But whatever, apparently I'm just "keeping her occupied".
Things are just GREAT over here. 🙄👎😠

peachsmama I hope your mom makes a speedy recovery. Any idea how she came in contact with it? I suspected my nephew, the one that's MJ's age had it. Their kids all have allergies and she wont treat them so they constantly have runny noses, sneezing, watery eyes. But about 3 weeks ago he was suddenly dry. Dry cough, no runny nose. Then got pink eye but not inside. Just the rims and lids of his eyes were pink. And now they're saying that's a symptom in children. We'll probably never know and I'm not saying anything. My brother would lose it. Hes been denying the severity of it. But his boss found out about my mom and sent him home for 2 weeks. But he wont quarantine so it wont matter..

This day, man. I got an email from my boss letting me know that I need to wear a mask at work because I’m pregnant. That sounds awful and I’m not looking forward to it. I’m going to pull it down when no one is in the lobby so I can breathe. Can this shit end already? On the bright side it’s 68 degrees and I’m relaxing on my front porch enjoying the last of the day’s warmth while DH has the girls on a bike ride.
