For Easter, I think I’ll do a ham with green beans, corn casserole and some sort of cheesy potato dish. At least we’ll have leftovers! I need to figure out a breakfast, and there WILL be mimosas. inthekitty yes, I saw that about the masks. Since DH transitioned out of his old role in preparation for the move, he is now non-essential so is home (he’s hopped on a few conference calls as needed and can do email, etc remotely). So that’s one less thing to deal with! |

All those easter dishes sound really good! Ik guess ours will be a little boring, just breakfast/brunch with a variety of breads & toppings, pancakes, eggs, orange juice etc. nothing fancy 🤷🏼♀️.

Hey. Quiet morning here. I did an online order for sandals for the girls, they ended up being to small so I went to target to exchange them and they are not allowing returns/exchanges through the 16th. Annoying. I just bought the right sizes and I’ll go back in 10 days to return the other ones. Our “spring break” is this Friday and next Monday so schoolwork will continue until then. wineallthetime happy birthday to L! |

Hi!
It took me forever to fall asleep last night. Nothing but painting and cleaning the kitchen today.
I have a sliced brisket from Sam’s that I’ll just have to heat in the oven for Easter dinner. I just have to figure out sides. Probably some kind of potatoes and veggies. I may grab some ham slices if need be. I may have to work this weekend, so trying to keep dinner easy that day. We’ll do an egg hunt in our yard, too.

joelies this is really, really hard and it’s okay to feel that way. The kids were having such a rough time this weekend and I was thinking exactly the same last night. I feel like I am watching them regressing before my very eyes and it’s heartbreaking. @winealltheyind HBD to Miss L!

My mom has it. They wont test her because the hospital has such limited tests but everything else came back negative and the doctor is 99% sure she has it. She has a fever of 102, achy, diarrhea, vomiting, labored breathing, dehydrated. They gave her fluid and sent her home to self quarantine for 14 days. We had very limited contact with her, but we all live on the same property. Unfortunately with having to care for my pony, she would hold her still so I could care for the wound. But I didn't let any of the kids in the house or give hugs. My sil and her kids were there with my mom for 5 hours on friday... my mom was already not feeling good then and had told sil repeatedly and she wouldn't leave.. And my mom will not ask people to leave.
ETA: they are sending her to a clinic in another town that has more tests to get tested.
ETA 2: her potassium levels were also dangerously low and her kidney numbers are high.
Getting info from my dad and then my mom.

We spent about 2.5 hours outside playing and took a walk. The kids were digging in the dirt under a big cedar tree at the edge of our yard and got filthy, so I went ahead and got them bathed. DH is bringing home fried chicken for dinner after his flight, cannot wait. I may crack open some wine now, though. Survived another day 🙌🏻
