Weeks/Due Date - 26w/6-27
The Good - Nausea seems to have calmed a bit. I’m not throwing up as much and my stomach pain is more minimal. I have stopped losing weight finally although as of my last appointment 3 weeks ago I hadn’t gained any.
The Bad - insomnia is killing me. I was up until 3am and then woke up again when H’s alarm for work went off at 5am. I need sleep.
Milestones/Appointments - I have my second GD screening next week and a growth ultrasound in 3 weeks.
To Do List - we have the nursery painted, the crib and a wardrobe/dresser set up in her room. Now to get/set up everything else. I was supposed to have a shower mid April but now we’ll have to see.

Weeks/Due Date - 30 weeks/May 30
The Good - My kids' daycare is still open, so DH and I are able to still wfh without interruptions. I can wear athletic shorts all day instead of maternity pants that annoy me. I'm trying really hard to look on the bright side of things right now.
The Bad - I don't do well without being able to plan, so not knowing what the world is going to look like in May/June is stressing me out.
Milestones/Appointments - I have an appointment this week with my bonus US for paying my OB bills on time. I really hope DH can come - I'll call the day before to check.
To Do List - We still need to get all the baby stuff out of the attic so I can figure out what we need to replace or are missing. I hope it's not too much!

Weeks/Due Date - 29+2 / June 6
The Good - Passed my GD test, and everything looked great at my last appointment. Little dude is measuring big so will likely be on track with his big brothers
The Bad - the lower back pain and insomnia are so bad. I had a prenatal massage 2 weeks ago before shit hit the fan here and it helped, but that's obviously not an option anymore. I had to take out my cane from my old hip injury because I couldn't get up the stairs last night.
Milestones/Appointments - nothing this week for a change. MFAU again next Monday.
To Do List - need to pick up a few of the small things (diapers, butt cream, baby shampoo) and start working on adjusting our living space to fit baby in this house as the likelihood of getting it sold now is pretty slim.

29 weeks tomorrow/June 9 The good - I think last week was super stressful because we went from ‘ok, school will be closed for a couple weeks and then we’ll go back to normal’ to ‘this thing may very well cause the economy to come crashing down and change life as we know it.’ And that’s a huge adjustment. My sister is on the east coast (Maryland) and she and her husband own food service businesses and she just started to realize the major impact yesterday and had a similar freak out. My DH will likely lose his job eventually from this, and there will be a lot of unemployed investment industry people so it may be difficult to find something else. I’m really glad I kept working full time and building my career even when he was making a lot more than me. This is a ‘good’ because I feel like we’ve sort of gone through the stages of grief over all this (denial, anger, acceptance...) and are starting to come out on the other side of our new normal. We’re getting into a routine of working remotely while taking care of 3 kids (with 3 hours of help per weekday from my parents) and I’m hoping eventually when it’s safe for my parents to fly home to the east coast that we’ll be able to work something out with DS2’s closed in-home daycare provider to take care of just our 3 kids part time. She’s mulling over my offer. Sorry this is so long The bad - also see above. Appts/milestones - only thing that makes me high risk is age so I went and got my rhogam shot last week and don’t need to go again for 3+ weeks for an ultrasound and check-up. To do - I’m going to wait till I receive a bonus in a few weeks to buy a few of the larger baby things (swing, new pack n play with napper attachment for baby to sleep in when he’s in our room).

Weeks/Due Date - 29/ June 5th
The Good - I passed my 3 hour GTT. Also I now have a new nephew that was born early this am. Both baby and mom are healthy!
The Bad - I have terrible right sided sciatica pain most days. I’ve also started with some leg swelling on days I work from being in my feet 10-12 hours but luckily it goes away if I am off a day or two. Otherwise I’m not feeling too bad.
Milestones/Appointments - Next appointment is next week.
To Do List - We made a lot of progress this week on room remodeling so that feel great. I have such a strong desire to nest already!

Weeks/Due Date - 26w1d, 6/28
The Good - these weeks of pregnancy seem to be passing quickly. The weather is warming up so we can get outside more.
The Bad - I can’t remember what all I told you guys but I’ve had body aches, sinus headache and an off/on fever for the past 2 weeks. Then last week I had 2 episodes where I got really hot and nauseous after I was standing for a bit, and then one time it happened while I was trying to poop and I ended up seeing stars and throwing up. Luckily I did not pass out. So Friday I went to urgent care after DH got home where I was diagnosed with a sinus infection and given antibiotics. I’m now on day 3 of the antibiotics and the headaches/fever aren’t gone. I will see how I feel tomorrow and if things aren’t starting to resolve then I’ll message my doctor to see what her recommendation is and call in to work. Both of my girls now have low fevers too, but no other symptoms.
Milestones/Appointments - next appt will be in 2 weeks
To Do List - get outside, in our yard, as much as we can to experience fresh air. Start H’a distance learning tomorrow, stay sane.

txaggie08 the feeling of unknown is where I was last week. Such a sinking feeling. I now know that my kids will still be home and covid will probably be at its peak when I deliver. Which is all awful, but now I know and will just have to work with that info and adjust as best I can. I can’t change it, so here we are. I’m sending all you true May and June due dates extra extra good vibes that the worst of it will be passed by the time babies come!!! There is definitely still lots of time for that to happen!! danib sorry about the house not selling yet trtlcrzy that’s awful. I had pneumonia in January but it cleared right up with antibiotics. I’m sorry yours is lingering.

Weeks/Due Date -35 weeks; April 26 The Good - I feel like I got my act in gear and got a lot done last week. The kids being home wasn’t as bad as I was expecting and we’ve been handling social distancing ok so far. My mental state feels more stable too. I am feeling goodish. The Bad - My sleep is awful. My side pain still comes and goes. And I have to figure out a new childcare plan for when I go into labor. And, well, this virus is quite a bother in all aspects of life and is scary. Milestones/Appointments - Had an appt today. Measuring on track. No concerns. Onto weekly appts now. To Do List - just to give myself some positive reinforcement, I am going to start with what I accomplished last week: put together 3 pieces of ikea furniture, rearranged furniture placement in 3 rooms. Purged and got out of my house clothes, filing cabinet papers, and books. Got a new changing pad. Kept 2 kids alive, somewhat active and educated, with minimal screen time. This week: Find and clean - car seat, bassinet, and infant clothes. Gather a bag of girl infant clothes for give away. Pack hospital bag. Keeps kids alive (I’ll leave it at that for now)

OH YEA, I forgot the other bad. My neighbor is now in a 2 week quarantine because she had exposure to a positive case (she’s a nurse). Her kids are the same ages as y kids and we are close with them. We haven’t hung out with them in a week in a half, but....
Saturday, she and her kids dropped off some cake to my family (while keeping 6 feet space on my porch). Of course I shoved a whole piece in my face. So cue my freak out and denial.

Date - May 30/ 30 weeks
The Good - I’m working from home now so it’s nice to lean back on the couch and stretch out my ribs. Got all baby clothes out of storage and washed all newborn & 3 months and got that put away. DS is home from daycare since she’s very nervous (rightfully so!) of having any sick kids and he has a runny nose so better safe than sorry but he has been amazing! Still some work to do on staying quiet when I’m on a work call but I have some very understanding coworkers 🤣.
The Bad - I understand why and I agree with everything everyone has to do to nip this pandemic in the bud but all my therapies (massage, physio, accupuncture etc) have been cancelled 😭. I’m in so much pain daily but at least the stretches my physio gave me do help and she just called me today to touch base and sent me new ones to help me through. Work has been nuts so I’m glad to be home.
Milestones/Appointments - 30 week appt today - blood results show that I am anemic so planning to start iron supplementation and see what my doctor thinks.
To Do List - set up nursery, and purchase new sheets for the crib. My mom made us some last time and that was awesome but she can’t really get to the fabric store to buy material so gonna see what’s I can do from online shopping.

Weeks/Due Date - 35w, c/s on April 16
The Good - Babies look good at the last few appointments. The Bad - once again just all the anxiety and stress surrounding the unknown in the world and how that all affects my birth too. I am also terrified that even if the hospital is still allowing labor partners, that my H will get sick and he won’t be able to be there. Ugh. This is seriously the worst time to give birth. Otherwise I’m just in constant states of discomfort and inability to sleep, etc. God I can’t wait to not be pregnant anymore.
Milestones/Appointments - Just had my 35 week u/s and appointment today which included the Group B Strep test. I have my 36 week u/s and appt next Thursday.
To Do List - just keep these babies inside for another 23 days.

willow I think it’s actually better that you’re delivering sooner rather than later! A lot of the models on when we’ll have the most deaths from the virus/hospitals will be the most stressed predict that it will happen in late May and early June.

Weeks/Due Date - 28 weeks
The Good - Start kick counts this week. 12 weeks to go. Baby moves a ton. I’m finally getting my BS under control. I thought it would be harder the bigger her got.
The Bad - I got the TDap shot yesterday and I am so sick. I had this same reaction when I was pregnant with DD, but with the coronavirus going around these symptoms aren’t helping.
Milestones/Appointments - Growth scan in a week and appointments every two weeks. I’m anxious about my appointments. My hospital is kind of on lock down, patients only rule. DD’s daycare is still closed so I don’t have anyone to watch her while I’m at my appointment. DH is a plumber and considered essential in our county.
To Do List - Rest and try to juggle WFH and no daycare. 😬🙏🏾

I wish I could be more active because I always think it should help (it doesn’t). But I need to be able to do something to release all the stress and anxiety in my head! In sorry you have to anticipate not selling your house too. Are you keeping it listed? Has anyone actually requested a viewing during all this?

I know that’s what everyone has been speculating for the US but I’m scared that it will be Canada also as all reports say they don’t know how long it will last but it could be months. I’m planning to be delivering when covid is still relatively strong and just accepting I can’t do much about that. I’m just lucky we can still have our one support person with us. I heard they took that away in NY? My checkup yesterday was interesting and very sterile and dr basically just went through what they know so far for pregnant people with Covid and hospital protocol etc. And now my next appt will be 4 weeks from now instead of biweekly but I’d rather stay home and not around many people so I’m okay with this.

When I talked to my agent last they were still doing viewings (though not many), but since then the number of Covid cases in my province (and specifically my area) have risen dramatically. Like doubled in 24 hours. And the government is really cracking down on distancing, and closed every non-essential business. So while it's not off the market, I can realistically assume we won't have any viewings for the next month or two at the veery minimum.

Sooooo we were waiting to buy a van until the last minute, due to mortgage purposes and debt-ratio. And now the car dealerships are closed 😳 Things are gonna get tricky if baby comes before everything starts to get back to normal.

I had a long talk with my boss today and will be going off on maternity leave between 36/37 weeks to hopefully allow me to self quarantine at home for at least 14 days before delivery. I don’t want to risk being infected at time of delivery for myself, my baby and everyone that else on labor and delivery. I’m glad I have a plan in place and that my boss is very supportive.

And right now there are a bunch of no payments for 90 days deals around. We need a largish SUV before the baby gets here too.

danib can you fit an infant seat in your current car if necessary? I think I could *maybe* do it. sdlaura the boys currently have Dionos so that's reassuring. The trickiest part of it though is DS1 is using his as a booster now, so reaching the buckle for him between the seats is gonna be hard. If he was still harnessed I feel like I could definitely squeeze them in. I don't think any dealerships here are doing the delivery thing (plus we need to sell or trade in DHs car), DH called/emailed around and the answer he kept getting is just that they are closed. We still have some time though so that could change, it's just getting close now and I wanted to have it done by the end of April at the latest. And our chief medical officer clearly said in the press conference/update yesterday that this will NOT be over by Easter.

danib we have a super small vehicle too and I spent hours looking up the smallest car seats. I’m still nervous it won’t all fit but we can’t afford another vehicle right now so I understand the stress well. I’m sorry! The key fit 30 is really small. It’s the one we’re getting.
