Thanks ladies - Stupid question - usually when B has diahrea it's either at the tail end of being sick, or after I over-corrected from the opposite problem. Other than bland foods, lots of carbs, plenty of water, and no "P" foods, there's nothing I should be doing, right? I don't know why I feel #new today. Correct. Not much else you can do.

nam2013, I'm dumb, and when you said wardrobe, I thought you meant boxes of clothes. I thought, "dang, must be a big haul if you needed a trailer." I now realize you mean the thing you put clothes IN. Hahahaha maybe i used the wrong word 🤔. ETA dd does have quite the wardrobe though, hence the need for a big closet 🤦🏼♀️.

So, feet update.
My chiro Dr ordered xrays and a u/s a couple weeks ago to confirm a diagnosis of Metatarsalgia and a possible neuroma, which is a cyst that grows at the end of a nerve that apparently is drain with a needle (OMG NO). Well good news is that the cysts are not there, but I have a fracture on a toe on my left foot. The only thing that I can even remember happening is in summer of 2018 I stubbed it so, so bad on a door, the swelling went down so i thought i was fine. Fast forward to last fall and my left foot is all messed up.
So, now I have to call my GP Dr and tell her to look at the xrays to see what she is recommending or just to go to a podiatrist. Like fak, I do not have time for this.

Today was an interesting day at work. I watched some class presentations of English language learner students (who make up the majority of our student body) and a few shared some snippets of how they got here. It’s really sad. These kids walked for weeks across the border, saw people die, and were put “in cages.” It’s times like this i wish i was a teacher so i could get to know each and every one of them better. I’m a bit far removed from the students because i work primarily with teachers.

Hii - long day. I kept the girls home since j had his kindergarten performance at 2. I had to call in for an interview for my future manager, who is also my colleague that I trained when she joined the team 4 years ago...no kids and younger, but being in the mommy track stings sometimes. It came up that our old boss required us to have the video on during zoom meetings, so k got to make a cameo along with my no sleep/no makeup look.
The performance was adorable and a full hour, and then we went out for froyo ansmd ran into some neighbors and kids from another class. I'm realizing we are used to our own kids, bc they were sooo obnoxious, we hightailed it out once we were done. J is still sickish and mh seems to be dying from a man cold, so hoping we can hobble in to the weekend..2 more days.

Hiii from the skating rink. B is doing so well at skating but I’m happy there are only two more classes after this.
We’re at a place with multiple rinks and there’s generally hockey teams ,with kids ages 8-10ish, coming in at the same time for games and they look absolutely adorable in their button up shirts and slacks looking all ‘professional’.

Dance pics went surprisingly well. Both girls were cooperative and so cute. Sounds like it takes a while for the pics to come back though. H started complaining about her forehead and cheeks hurting so I decided to take her to acute care to see if she has a sinus infection. Because it just started in the last couple of days the PA said it’s probably viral so just keep doing Motrin and a decongestant. Also, she got a finger prick to check her blood count. She was super brave and didn’t cry. I got the results back and her WBC is fine, but her RBC, hemocrit and hemoglobin were all low. The PA didn’t address that so I think I’m going to message her doctor to see if that means she’s anemic and to see if we need to start iron supplements. Her multi has iron in it, but maybe it’s not enough. jewels I hope B’s stools firm up before the morning nam2013 that’s super frustrating. I hope your DH’s uncle can make it work.

This feels like a dumb question for a third time mom... but does this look like teeth might be coming soon? Currently letting him cry it out for the first time... he woke up screaming an hour after i put him down. I think it’s going to be another long night 😞

I can’t tell from the pic, but if you think it may be teeth, can you give him Tylenol to see if that helps? I think I gave both boys Tylenol if they ever were having unexplained, horrible sleep nights and it helped them to sleep better. Hope you have a better night.

Yep, I gave Tylenol before I put him to bed. So far, he’s woken up screaming 3 times. I let him go for 10 minutes the first two times before going in. This last time, he cried for a few minutes and went back to sleep! Maybe we’re getting somewhere?! 🙏

Oooh that look like teeth to me slenle. Tylenol and a frozen cloth to chew on helped my kids. Good luck and I hope they pop up soon.
