That's super obnoxious lahdeedah , annoying for sure. peachsmama B is really into card games on the ipad; solitare, 21, speed, go fish, old maid, Uno and he loves the ones where you have to find items 'Seekers Notes' is what it's called. Wordscapes is a really good one for spelling. Oh great idea. C loves card games, I should put some on his tablet!

So I've mentioned that I haven't been happy with L's teacher. Last week they had parent teacher conferences but got cancelled from the snow. Today is the makeup day and she offered to do them over the phone as well if needed. So I schedule mine as a phone call and make sure I'm in my office and not busy at that time. Guess who never called me...

I would reach out to her and tell her you'd really like to discuss L's progress and must have misunderstood the time scheduled. She's definitely not doing herself any favors by not sticking to the schedule.

M woke us up at 11 to tell is he would be sleeping on the couch because he threw up in his bed and it was wet. He got himself wiped up and in clean pjs before waking us lol. A got him settled on the couch and I told him I'd deal with the bed in the morning. Oh.my.god. so much vomit. And of course he was up top so it's a bitch to strip and remake. And it went through all layers of sheets and protectors to the mattress cover. I also took their tablets away from them indefinitely from them fighting over them and waking MJ up. M lost his mind because apparently this is his worst nightmare. He actually said that lol. So a break from them is definitely needed. Is it bedtime yet??? Oh hell nah. There are exactly zero fits that are allowed at my house for a privilege like the tablet. Sorry, head for a time out in your room, reset your bad attitude and come out when you're ready to be part of the family in a civilized way. No tablets for us yet, but pretty much the same if they start arguing about toys or the TV. They have a calm down corner to chill out and read books and lately Dude is really into using crystals and candles to help him settle. It’s hilarious. X doesn’t know what’s going on so he follows him there for solidarity or out of sheer confusion, I guess.

I’ve got some flu symptoms that have been progressively worse over the last couple days. Not too awful, just enough to make me feel like absolute crap and barely make it through the day.
The boys woke me up at 2 am because Dude ran out of water (we keep a bottle in his bed). I couldn’t even be mad. I must have looked like hell when I stumbled around all sweaty from my fever because Dude told me, “Mom, go to bed and try to rest. Tomorrow is going to be great, because you’re great.”😂

Just signed Cadence up for an after school art class at the school, now if only they would introduce an after school reading program!

Hey. After I dropped S at school I went and visited my friend/coworker and her baby. She returns to work next week so it was kind of a last chance thing. I was supposed to go over to her place the week we had the flu but obviously had to reschedule. Tiny almost 3 month olds are so cute, but she reminded me of the not so fun newborn things. I told S the other day that I would take her to the zoo after lunch today but I forgot that the girls have dance pics tonight so I’m not going to bring it up and hope she forgets. We can try again tomorrow or Friday. I have a pork butt in the crockpot, to turn into bbq pulled pork sandwiches for supper. peachsmama I hope M is feeling better soon. cagoldi I hope you are feeling better soon too. Since you’re immunocompromised will they give you tamiflu or anything to try and help?

Had DD’s 4yo well visit (she’s 3y9m). She’s tall and lean and doing very well elsewise. She was brave for her shots, but when I told her it was okay to cry if she was hurt, the tears came, poor thing.
I just picked up a wardrobe for Dd I found on marketplace. First hurdle, it was to big for my dads car, rented a trailer, first hurdle taken. Second hurdle was first floor, we managed to hoist it up trough our yard. Third hurdle was the second floor. It won’t fit trough the stairwell. Sooooo now I have an antique wardrobe that is standing in front of my own wardrobe and Dd still needs one... It’s just 😣😣😣.

Since you’re immunocompromised will they give you tamiflu or anything to try and help? They have me keep it on hand at all times, JIC. They also gave me the option of keeping some on hand for the kids so I am less likely to contract it from them and given that we don’t know if they are immunodeficient yet either, but given the horrible side effects, I wouldn’t subject them to that unless it were absolutely necessary.

She's definitely not doing herself any favors by not sticking to the schedule. Oh I will absolutely be reaching out. If it had been any other teacher I wouldn't think much of it. She got tied up, lines of communication got crossed, ect. But it's like this for everything! I do want to leave work first just in case by some miracle a voice mail pops up on my phone when I get further away from the hospital. I doubt it, but I also don't want to look like an idiot lol

So B's school texted me to say B had 4 loose poops this morning so we needed to pick up. MH went to get him and he had another one immediately upon returning home. He's acting fine and actually eating and drinking - although unfortunately they reached out right AFTER feeding him lunch which was pasta and meatsauce - probably not what I would give him in that situation.
I'm praying he stops pooping for the night so that we can send him back to school tomorrow. And mostly just praying that it's just something he ate and he's not sick or anything.

Thanks ladies - Stupid question - usually when B has diahrea it's either at the tail end of being sick, or after I over-corrected from the opposite problem. Other than bland foods, lots of carbs, plenty of water, and no "P" foods, there's nothing I should be doing, right? I don't know why I feel #new today.

Just trying to help. Glad B doesn’t seem to be too affected by it. jewels Hope he can go back to school tomorrow. Also, how is your H’s back? When you mentioned him, I thought about that.

We went out to grab lunch and the restaurants are packed because everyone here is out of school. After driving around for a few minutes trying to figure it out, the boys both fell asleep. I went to a drive thru and happily came home to sit in peace for a while.
We’ll try the science museum when they wake up and eat if the weather holds off.

My H is either 100% down, or just fine. There is no grey with that man. So a few weeks after it happened, he just decided he was fine. I actually keep forgetting about it, but every so often he'll mention it was hurting him that day or something. He goes back in a week or 2 for a follow up. Thanks for asking!
