Weeks/Due Date - 25+2 / June 6
The Good - I finished my weekly fetal echos and everything seems fine with his heart. Switching to biweekly ultrasounds and NSTs with the MFAU, so I won't have as many appointments for a few weeks (until OB appointments increase). I feel like I need a little break so it's good timing. I also see my family doctor on Thursday and am 99% confident she'll be giving me my note to stop work. If so then my last shift was yesterday and I'm stoked.
The Bad - Sleeping is shit. The absolute slightest thing will wake me up (a noise or a small discomfort in my body) and then I can't fall back to sleep for literal hours. It's terrible. Especially having to get up with the boys afterwards. Luckily DH will be home tomorrow so he can pick up some of the house stuff and let me relax.
Milestones/Appointments - graduated from the fetal echos, and doctor on Thursday.
To Do List - well the top of my list WAS to file our taxes, but I actually managed to get that done this morning (DS2 was cooperative and watched a movie while I did it). We ended up owing in, so all my plans for the refund I thought we were getting just flew out the window...

Weeks/Due Date - 22w1d 6/28
The Good - I’m feeling baby a little more frequently, my pelvis feels great, I’m not very sick anymore (still congested and coughing but I’ll take it).
The Bad - crazy, vivid dreams are driving me insane.
Milestones/Appointments - nothing for a couple of weeks
To Do List - I feel like my list is pretty light this week. Mostly I just need to get my house back in order after being sick all of last week. I don’t have a ton of laundry to do because we mostly just wore pjs all week, but the bedding and towels def need to be done.

Weeks/Due Date - 25 weeks tomorrow/June 9
The Good - Feeling pretty good still, lots of movement, DS1 (6) is really cute and super into the baby and wants to lay on my stomach everyday and feel kicks.
The Bad - Originally I thought I had pulled a muscle while working out, but I think I've determined that it's a specific pair of shoes I wear that are making the right side of my butt really hurt. I must walk differently in those shoes or something? It probably has to do with the fact that I had foot surgery on my right foot a little over a year ago (for a bunion) and some combo of that plus walking differently from pregnancy plus those shoes is causing an issue. I'm going to try to stop wearing them and see if the pain goes away. It's too bad because they're my Allbirds lace-ups and they're really comfy.
Milestones/Appointments - regular OB appointment and glucose test Thursday morning - fingers crossed.
To Do List - I put together an amazon private registry just to keep track of the stuff I want to get. I asked DH to get baby stuff down from our attic - I can't remember whether we kept or got rid of a couple things like the baby bathtub and bouncy seat. I started to plan some of my work coverage for when I'm out. Also, DH is freaked out by the coronavirus still. This sounds crazy, but I may actually ask my OB if there's someone she'd recommend to help with a home birth if the virus ends up speading in hospitals here. So far the virus cases in San Diego went to a different hospital than the one where I deliver. A home birth is something I've always considered anyway because I've had quick and easy births with no interventions, so I figure it couldn't hurt to have a name on hand just in case.

sdlaura where in your butt is the pain? If it’s the upper part it might be your SI joint. You could also look up psoas muscle stretches to see if that helps, that one can cause all sorts of fun issues. I highly recommend a chiropractor too.

trtlcrzy I'm pretty sure it's just the muscle. It's not an issue most days - but hurts after a day when I've done a lot of walking - and that's how I realized it was just in one specific pair of shoes. My normal workouts (elliptical, stair climber, body weight stuff) don't make it hurt.

sdlaura that’s an interesting thought about coronavirus and delivery at a hospital. It never crossed my mind! It doesn’t hurts to get a name. And hey, you might want to do it regardless. In knowing all the hospitals in my city, the one I deliver at is less likely to have people present to ER with symptoms. Obviously that doesn’t guarantee anything, but I’m hoping I’m right.

Weeks/Due Date - 25+3, June 5
The Good - I’ve been feeling pretty good overall.
The Bad - Sleep has been terrible lately.
Milestones/Appointments - next appointment is in 2.5 weeks then I start biweekly appointments.
To Do List - I went through all my baby clothes and have them separated out. Unfortunately we thought we were done after DD2 so I got rid of all my boy stuff so if this baby is a boy we will have a lot to buy. DH and I are leaving for the Florida Keys next weekend so I have a lot of cleaning and prep to do for that. MIL will be watching the kids at our house.

Weeks/Due Date - 31w1d; due April 26.
The Good - just getting closer to being off work and due date! I like being in the 30’s.
The Bad - right side pain is still there. I’ve just accepted it. I just bitch to my H all the time about it. I’m sure he loves it. I keep not being able to connect with the bathroom contractor (back and forth) who had said he would be available in the next month or so. I really wanted to get the bathroom done before the baby comes and I’m afraid he’s booking with other people. It’s stressing me.
Milestones/Appointments - at biweekly appts, but they are so anticlimactic. BP, weight, belly measuring, HR and out the door. I did get my tDap (is this right?) at my last appt.
To Do List - get contractor to my house! Finish purging books and schedule a pick up. Start purging girl clothes.

I don’t know how all of your hospitals work but our OB unit is very far from the ER/ where people would be quarantined, not that we have had any cases here yet. I do admissions for L&D and we have to ask everyone (patients) the coronavirus questions. Hopefully by the time we are all delivering it’s resolved/resolving.

I can preregister and go in any door right to the elevator up to L&D. ER is in its own separate part. I feel better.

The Good - Feeling pretty good right now.
The Bad - Tying my shoes really sucks already.
Milestones/Appointments - I have my next check up and glucose test next week.
To Do List - DH and I need to get our Tdap shots and do work on the baby's room. No progress has been made in weeks...

I think coronavirus is likely to become even more of an issue by the time we all deliver, but I agree with you all that the amount of separation between ER/infectious diseases and the L&D unit is large in most hospitals. I never thought about it before but imagine that’s intentional It also doesn’t seem like many children are contracting it. I did end up talking to a midwife practice today that does home births. Because we have an HMO, a home birth would cost us a lot more out of pocket than a hospital birth. So we’ll stick with a hospital birth for now and see how things shape up.

Our ER has its own separate entrance (there is a connecting hallway between the two but most people have no reason to use it), and L&D is on its own separate floor with its own separate registration, so you literally mingle with no one. there's always the chance of like cleaning staff or kitchen staff spreading it I guess, but they could also stand next to me in the grocery store line...

Weeks/Due Date - 31w, scheduled c/s April 16
The Good - We went on our babymoon last week to Florida. It was super relaxing, we spent the whole week on my Uncle's lanai that overlooks the intracoastal. I read 5 books and didn't do much else but eat. I want to go back, lol.
The Bad - Everything else? Lol. I am so bad at being pregnant. I have nothing actually 'wrong', but damn. Everything hurts. I'm exhausted all the time, almost as bad as first tri again which was AWFUL with twins. So this is just how it is until the end now, ha.
Milestones/Appointments - 32/33 week appt with growth u/s on March 9.
To Do List - Get new blackout shades installed in the nursery and put up new curtains. Write thank you cards from my baby shower (!! I keep forgetting).

I am not worried about coronavirus for delivery purposes. Like some of you mentioned, our hospital's L&D is very separated and controlled via secure access doors so you can't just wander in unless you are a patient or visiting a patient in L&D. I also wouldn't do a home birth normally and certainly can't consider it now with twins lol, so there's that.

danib I hadn’t thought about cleaning staff or kitchen staff spreading it - you’ve given me one more thing to be paranoid about lol but like I said, those same people are also grocery shopping, going to Wal-Mart, etc. The general public makes me more nervous than the maternity ward.

Weeks/Due Date - 24+3/June 13
The Good - still feeling pretty consistent movements, feeling generally ok
The Bad - my energy level seems to be going back down, I don’t know if it’s just because I need to be more active or what. I’ve gained about all the weight I want to already, lol.
Milestones/Appointments - I hit viability so woot, next appt is March 22
To Do List - plan my kids birthday party next month- that’s pretty much my only focus this week.

Weeks/Due Date - 24 weeks tomorrow
The Good - The movement is so comforting. More than halfway done with being pregnant.
The Bad - I’m nervous about my repeat fetal echo scan on Friday. The MFM said she couldn’t see certain things at the last scan so she scheduled another one. I just really hope nothing is wrong.
Milestones/Appointments - Fetal echo Friday.
To Do List - I need to start going through the garage and pulling out baby stuff I’m using again.

I follow Jordan Page on IG, she’s currently 35 weeks with twins. Last week she went into labor, 5cm dilated, got an epi and then her labor stalled. Since she was less than 36 weeks they sent her home. That sounds like the most miserable thing ever. All that to say, I hope you’re not miserable for the rest of your pregnancy. Treat yourself to a couple of prenatal massages.

I will probably be pretty grumpy and exhausted from here on out, honestly. I can’t see it getting better lol. I already measure 40 weeks pregnant, which is not concerning since it’s twins, but still, I have 7 weeks to go so.... lol. Plus I just honestly can’t believe how much more energy this pregnancy is sucking out of me. It’s so much worse than with my son. I do have a monthly massage membership and my mom gifted me some massages there for Christmas so I have a few set up in the next couple weeks. The downside is that the only lady that does prenatal there doesn’t really go as firm as I’d like even when I tell her she can press harder. It’s still relaxing though. I have one on Thursday this week actually!

Weeks/Due Date - 26+4, May 30 The Good - I am sorry for everyone having crappy sleeps, I had the best sleep of my life (or at least in probably 5 years) Monday night and it was amazing! I then had a really horrible sleep last night so I guess it evens out. I started physio on Friday and it was amazing - I love her so much. She gave me some really simple stretches and a prescription for a pregnancy belt so I will go get that on Friday. I'm excited haha! I also had a massage today and it was great. I plan to continue the massage at least once a month. My physio lady gave me the name of this app too and it explains how to do everything in your daily life, from getting out of bed properly, sitting in a chair, getting out of your car etc. The Bad - my body just hurts. The stretches do help but I'm just sore. I got a new pregnancy book from the library and I want to read it but work is also so busy and our year end is still not wrapped up! I feel it never stops to catch a breath. I keep thinking this is the last week of the crazy and then something else comes up. I am off Friday though so it will be nice to have a day to relax a bit (except DS and I have eye appts and one of my dogs has a vet appt haha but thats a different kind of busy!). Milestones/Appointments - OB on March 3rd. Still in my monthly appointments but i'll be 27 weeks at that appointment so maybe starting bi-weekly after this one? Also I need to remember to ask her to clarify what she told me last time. I guess in the ultrasound report they mentioned something about my umbilical cord being off to the side or something, and my doctor said it's nothing to worry about, except for at delivery its weaker? I couldn't remember exactly what she said it was so I started googling and now I am freaked out because anything I can find does not sound like nothing, our online portal doesn't have those ultrasound results, and I want to know more about whatever this is so I can relax (or not ). To Do List - more baby prepping! H brought stuff down from storage and we plan to do the nursery at the end of March. Also on my to do list is read that book from the library and find some good meals for suppers. I am so bored of food right now. I spent the last hour scrolling through pinterest seeing if anything made me excited - it did not. Any yummy, healthy recipes you guys have?! Sorry my weekly update is so long! I haven't had a chance to get on much and I apparently have a lot to say lol

aries what is the app called? I know you just started PT but if you can I would recommend going to a chiropractor. All of my pelvic pain was gone in 2-3 visits. They’re miracle workers. That said, I still go to PT and follow their recommendations also.

I need to book that too, I just feel I am taking so much time off for appointments. But my boss understands and my job is pretty flexible. Either I get the time for all the appointments or I need to go off early since i'll be in too much pain to even sit in my chair

I had a pt appt Monday morning and the therapist basically said there wasn’t much she could do at the appt since I was feeling so good. I do have some pain in my right groin and she gave me some suggestions for that. I do have a long 4 months ahead of me so I definitely will keep seeing both, but the PT less often.

trtlcrzy do you just go once a week then? Yes, for both. Right after my car accident she had me come 2x that week but since then it’s been weekly. She did mention spacing it out to every 2 weeks after next week but we will see what she actually says at my appt next week.
