Morning. It's raining, so no swim lesson today. I'm a little dizzy this mourning, so I popped in Moana and am snuggling with DD right now. I need to get breakfast going.
Lots of random phone calls to make today for the house. Nothing very exciting.

It's rainy here too, which I'm pretty okay with. I have some phone calls to make and bills to pay, so it should be a really uneventful day today.
Current status - determining if it's worth getting out of bed for food yet.

DD slept in her big girl bed last night for the first time (twin mattress on the floor in her new room). It went.... ok. She was not happy for about 30 minutes but did fall asleep and slept through the night. Not sure how naptime will go today so I'm hoping to wear her out this morning at the park.

It's just so damn syrupy sweet and I usually like sweet! Hopefully the hour passes quick for you and then you can grab a coffee!

mkrupar, glad to hear you're having an "easy" day. It's hard with a tot. I swear DS who's 3 is so much more active than he was at 2. He can be exhausting. Also can you guys send over some rain out here please? Not too much or it'll be a mud pit in the bky. It's been so brutally dry with narly a spit of moisture.

It's going to be in the 90s here today. I'm jealous of you rainy dayers. I'm in the mood to be cozy inside!
This is going to be annoying because everyone is much further than me but I'm so exhausted all the time. Tired when I wake up, I've been squeezing in a nap and I feel even more tired when I get up from that and then I can't stay up past 9.
Anyone remember when they stopped being so exhausted? I didn't have this feeling to the extreme with either of my boys. Yawn!

rebeccabunch Bummer about the exhaustion - Like was for commiseration. I had really bad fatigue with DS, and during this pregnancy. I think with DS I felt a little more energy around 20 weeks? With bedrest this time around, I always feel tried when I get up...but that's probably due to muscle loss from lying in bed so much. Sorry I can't be of more help!

Today was a good day! I got good news at my MFM appointment (updated in appointments thread), and the doctor approved me for another 2 weeks of modified bedrest! Wohoo! It's so nice being able to get up a bit during the day and take DS to the outdoor playground in our building.
DS also had a good day and decided to be a goofball. He got this balloon at the doctor's office a few days ago, and it has since deflated to a small sized balloon. DS decided to stick it under his shirt and walk around, saying he has a baby in his tummy - just like Mommy! DH and I just about died laughing - the bump was actually just the right size for him!

A local thrift store came and picked up our old couch and chair. I'm glad to get them out of the garage.
We need to finish clearing out the guest room so we can move DS in there. I'm wanting to get his old clothes out of the attic, but have no where to put them yet.

I'm full of first tri questions today, for those that did the Counsyl screening and the NT scan, did they hold your results until both were complete? The nurse yesterday told me they sometimes do. This would mean so have to wait some extra days. Do not want to!

Both kids are napping, house is (mostly) clean and I'm binging on Reign. Its a good day!
Baby 3 still has no name, with no real contenders. DH is so frustrating to me right now over this. He won't even remotely consider any names that I suggest.
Finally feeling baby move on a fairly regular basis!

Morning! Another hot day here, it's so humid I wish it would rain. DS and I are just having a chill day. Might head over to a splash pad before nap, if I find the motivation to go outside. Later we're going to my Thursday night Zumba class, so DS will get to interact with a few other kids there at least.

I forgot how often these inside babies get the hiccups! Little man gets them several times a day. I've started to feel much more movement (including the hiccups) over the past week and a half or so, and I love it. I was really getting concerned with how little movement I felt but I guess I was just getting ahead of myself.

I'm having a productive day so far. The weather is nice, I'm currently getting my hair done right now and later my brows waxed.
We are doing family pictures in a lavender field in two weeks and I need to find something to wear, DD and H are all set. I basically hate how I look in everything, the struggle is real.

I'm having one of those work days where I'm finally doing a lot of annoying things that I've been putting off. It feels so good to take care of these things and so bad to procrastinate on them and carry that mental burden. But yet I'll procrastinate again the future in something else at some point. It's never big things but it's destructive behavior. I wish we had a psychologist on the board!

I do that too, rebeccabunch . Both at work, and at home. Why do we do this?? Related: My work laptop backpack has had lots of junk in it and I finally cleaned it out after lunch today. I found some paperwork from my OB with instructions to fill out the enclosed pre-admission paperwork for the hospital. It is currently after the recommended time-to-mail, but oh well. I'm supposed to call in a couple weeks and set up an appointment with a Maternity Navigator at the hospital. I remember doing all this with DS and it made things feel so real. Here I am doing it again - this pregnancy is just flying by. FLYING BY, I tell ya.

rebeccabunch Same. I procrastinate everything, and it drives H nuts. CoachTsWife Thanks for the reminder. I keep forgetting about the per-admission slip, and we've had it since our first visit. I will probably forget again though, since I'm going to procrastinate finding it later.

It always feels so good when I finally get them off of my desk.

Managed to get DS to the splash pad this morning, AND make it back in time to heat up a frozen pizza for lunch before nap.

I'm a big ole chicken and rather than face the big girl bed for a nap today I took DD to a nearby* children's museum so she would take a nap on the way home. We'll just do the bed for nighttime tonight and see how it goes again.
*nearby is anything within 1.5 hrs because we live in the middle of no where

Heat advisories here today. So. hot. DH is off work this week and we were in the mountains from Friday to yesterday. Spent today reorganizing the garage so my new van will fit. Tomorrow is a yard project - pulling some grass up that doesn't grow well and replacing with stepping stones in a mulch bed with a place for DD's playhouse (currently set up in the basement), she is going to love it!

This would mean so have to wait some extra days. Do not want to! With out NT scan, we got the results right away, during the scan. They also gave us a print out with all the measurements. That is probably because the MFMs here do all the scans themselves, not a tech. For the non-invasive DNA screening, we had to wait 7 days I think! I hated the wait.
