My life motto, “Progress, not perfection” seems apt here. Hang in there, friends. We’re fighting the good fight and it’s a long haul.

Tulsi is such a robot. She and Cruz must share an OS and unfortunately it seems to be Windows Vista. Lol!

Honestly I think, especially when it comes to certain areas, those that will be voting against Trump are not advertising that fact because of the level of harassment that comes from the MAGA crowd. It's hard not to get discouraged, but those who support him are fewer in number than those who don't. That doesn't mean it'll translate into votes, but there are more of us than there are of them. Which is why the GOP is going to do everything they can to suppress the vote. Even Trump isn't that confident, otherwise why ask Ukraine to go public with an "investigation" into Biden?

I see Bernie stickers in the wild. But no signs yet. I see frequent Sanders '16 stickers on cars in the Whole Foods parking lot but no 2020 ones

I know that's not how it works, and I'm certainly not a Bernie fan, but... If we make the argument that the electoral college is outdated and Hillary should have won because she had the popular vote, shouldn't we maybe consider the argument that all state primaries not be decided by delegate but also by the popular vote? More or less just asking here because I don't have a solid opinion either way. I completely understand why the delegate/ electoral system exists, but I know we've heard legitimate arguments before about doing away with it.

Ls I see what you are saying, but, to me, there's a big difference between saying, "This doesn't really work and we should change it for future elections " and telling the refs to change the rules in the 3rd quarter of the game.
WTBS, Bernie and Pete fans absolutely have a reason to be upset about what happened in Iowa and I understand demands for some sort of remedy.

Yes, definitely not an argument for the second it doesn't turn out to be going his way. But for the future, I can see this being discussed more.

Thank you, I was able to find them through Bacon, the stickers are Unheard Skateboarding in Portland, OR. There's an AOC one! And Trump on a scooter, LOL. For the uninitiated, skaters can't stand the scooter kids.

I haven't put out signs this time, as I'm still flip flopping on who I'll vote for. I live in a super liberal area, but we still have people that drive through and remove things. My Black Lives Matter sign has been taken once or twice. Fortunately, I have a stockpile.

I love in a red state and have a "Love Trumps Hate" sticker on my car. I intend to put a Jaime Harrison for US Senate sign in my yard this fall. I don't care what fucking Trump supporters think.

I can see pushing for the recanvassing. And I can see wanting to evaluate the system going forward. However, this is silly. The difference in delegates between Sanders and Buttegieg is expected to be 2, right? Out of 1900?

Then there is this shit. White people expecting POC voters to just fall in line with white voters is white supremacy in action.

He does not listen and he clearly had a blind spot and instead of hearing the criticism and owning it, growing whatever- he just doubles down and shows even more of his ass.

TBCH I think that's a bit of a misinterpretation of what Pete said.
“A big part of what’s happening right now is that voters of color who are laser-focused on defeating this president, more than anything else, want to know that you can actually win,” Buttigieg said in an interview on NBC’s “Today” show that aired Tuesday, as voters headed to the polls in New Hampshire’s primary. “The process of proving that has only really been underway for the last few days, after a year of campaigning, proposing, talking,” he continued. “And that, I believe, is getting us the look that we now need as we will travel directly to states like Nevada, South Carolina and the Super Tuesday states that have a lot of racial diversity and where we can make that case eye-to-eye.“

While I'm not about to speak favorably to Pete's record with black voters, I assume he is referencing a phenomenon from 2008 , that is less about black voters falling in line and perhaps more about black voters supporting who they think can win--and not trusting white voters. "Senior campaign officials have repeatedly told donors — and Mr. Buttigieg echoes the pitch on the stump speaking to voters — that in the immediate aftermath of Barack Obama’s surprise Iowa caucus victory in 2008, he gathered newfound black support and a gusher of donations. The Obama campaign raised nearly as much money immediately after Iowa as it did in the preceding year." www.nytimes.com/2020/02/07/us/politics/pete-buttigieg-iowa-caucus.html
