Yikes, flamingo. Sorry that’s not a great initial report. Agree with your initial inclination and others advice to go ahead and get it done. Good luck.

vino Sorry B has been having some rough days. I also love the protective, big brother in him. It melts my heart when you mention those sweet moments. jewels FX y’all don’t need tubes again. Just the fact that S wants help calming down is big. Definitely learning moments for us moms. flamingo I’m sorry about the results. Also agree with the plan of action with the facts about your meds. What a crazy side effect.

We have bad weather coming through. I was almost home when the bottom fell out, but we are safe at home. There were reports of tornados both north and south of us before I left work. FX the weather passes without us being affected much. Not sure when Mh is planning to make the trek home.

flamingo, i’m sorry the results weren’t definitive one way or the other. I think you have the right idea to have the surgery with an immediate biopsy. Does this mean you need to stop taking the medication? vino, sweet B. He has a thoughtful heart! I hope things get easier for him.

flamingo sorry you didn’t get conclusive results jewels Every time one of S’s tubes has fallen out within 3 months but she can usually make it to the next cold/flu season without issue. Both of her tubes are out now and she’s had 2 EIs early this winter but nothing since. I’d like to not have to get it done again if possible.

B and I had a really good talk while we were driving to skating, I even detoured a longer way and kept him talking.
He told me that he feels tired lately and he knows to tell me if it gets too much that we can settle down, do less reading and he understood that it could be his iron levels again and I can book a blood draw if he needs.
He told me a few things that he’s worrying about at school so I’ll touch base with the teacher and we both agreed that there’s no looking at other kids points on the reading program, he said ‘i just get too sad to see that she’s ahead of me’.
Thanks for being my sounding board today ladies, I appreciate it and feel so much better.

jewels are you going to Ocean City or Ocean Beach? One of them puts you by me. Actually just outside of AC but we’ll be doing day trips to wildwood, etc. where are you again? It’d be pretty funny if after working less than 10 minutes from you all these years we wound up meeting on vacation!!

I grew up going to Stone Harbor, cutest town ever if you are that way but DH is from Ocean County and I couldn’t come up with the 1 million for a 1 bedroom that I would need for Stone Harbor.

Today was long. C was up twice in the night then T was up for good at 4:45. I had to pick up my nephews early before school because my youngest nephew at hernia surgery at 7:30 am today. He’s sore but home and doing alright. Then at lunch I had to run my oldest to get his braces fixed again because they only fix them before 3 pm. Then we had another appointment/gymnastics and we took cupcakes to my nephew. DH is still not home from work. I spent too much time debating whether I should work out, go to sleep, or get drunk. Guess I will just go to sleep.

I’ve been on this med for about 10 years and this is my first issue. The problem is if I go off it, my psoriasis flares. Not only is it unsightly but it’s uncomfortable. Sadly this is an effect of most of these biologic drugs that target the immune system. So There’s not really anything I could switch to, either :/

vino competition is rough at this age. At the awards thing today L was frustrated he didn’t get a certain award. I told him to be glad that he got what he got and the ones he got were very impressive. But he just told me he’s going to try harder next quarter I wish they didn’t have so many competitions at this age but that’s what gets more kids involved. I just remind him as long as he truly tries his best I’ll always be proud of him. You are a great mom and you got this.
