I’m still at work for about another hour. This day is going so slow. I need to go to L’s school this afternoon. There is an awards ceremony and he’s won something. Other then that just sleeping, working, and doing school work.

Morning!
I have to go wake the kids in ten, but it’s been nice to sit on the couch and catch up until then. I’m meeting a new-ish mom friend for coffee this morning. It feels like a date!

Morning.
Looks like it will be a busy day at work. I have to make a stop after to get some things to finish M’s arctic habitat diorama. I hope this is the last project they send home for me to do this year.

lahdeedah We just finished an arctic project. Luckily we just had to made a 2D animal and memorize several facts about them, so it wasn't difficult. It was crazy to see some of the kids' projects that went all out. I guess I need to join pinterest...

Today the kindergarten is having their dragon parade. They have their noisemakers ready to wake the dragon. We got a message last night that the kids should wear red for good luck. Really need to talk to these people about advance notice!

A few months ago S was complaining of sudden headaches for a few days, always at night time, then as quickly as they came on, they left.
Randomly since then he'll say he has a headache, but I've always suffered from headaches so I sort of wrote him off as copying me.
The past 3-4 days every day around dinner time he says he has a headache. Last night he was complaining in the tub that the sound of the water running hurt his head. Part of me still thinks he might be making it up... but maybe not? I told him to make sure he drinks enough and eats healthy foods (dehydration and processed foods are big triggers for me).
I really hope he's not heading down the path I did. Till I figured out my triggers, I suffered for years with seriously debilitating headaches. Now, at least, I can usually keep them under control to where they are just a nuisance.

H still has stuff draining from his ear, but seems to be feeling fine otherwise. M is back to normal and my throat only hurts a tad bit today. Thanks for checking on us!

There's no way I can monitor M's water intake at school, although I'm sure it would be helpful. I hope he's just copying you and not really suffering from headaches.

Cadence started up her tummy ache complaints again. I once again explained the boy who cried wolf and told her that when her tummy really hurts no one will believe her. Her response was, "Yeah, and then a wolf will come and eat me." And the moral of the story was clearly lost on her.

With Sierra, she gets headaches frequently...which isn’t uncommon with her many issues. But I have the opposite problem in that because of her lack of communication abilities, she can’t tell me when she’s hurting. But I can usually tell by looking at her eyes. She will squint more, and close them tight and hold them like that for a bit. She will also hold her hand on her forehead, with her head down. I was the queen of faking illness and such as a kid. So I tend to always think my nieces are fibbing when they say they don’t feel well. Then I feel terrible when they really get sick. Lol.

Morning!
We had speech first thing and B has ‘graduated’ from another sound, woohoo! We’re now working on TH and I think that was the last target for him 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻
Came home and I made pancakes and bacon, and now we’re just waiting for the bus. DH is coming home early bc I have my follow-up appt at the ophthalmologist’s today at 2 ; I’ll get the pathology reports back and we’ll make a plan for moving forward. I have been good and stayed off Dr Google this week.

B had his follow up ENT this morning. The tube in his right ear is dislodged. He just got this set in this summer. They did an audiology test too and said he could tell a difference in the 2 ears and asked if he was talking louder than usual. He's 3. His usual voice is pretty darn loud. So no?
They want me to go back in March and see how the other tube is and reassess if he needs to have the tubes put back in. Again.
In the meantime I'm just praying for no infections.

Morning! Today is infusion day for S so she’s home from school and we are waiting on the nurse. I need to get caught up on laundry today and clean out Sierra’s closet. I ordered her a ton of new clothes for spring that are arriving today and tomorrow. So I need to get rid of all the stuff that doesn’t fit anymore to make room for the new.
Also, MH is training dogs and has 2 client dogs in from GA. They aren’t used to this cold MO weather so they are in the house. One is a lab and one is a Boykin Spaniel. The Boykin is glued to me at all times. I can’t do anything without him at my feet. And BOTH dogs are sleeping in the bed with us. So I’m a little crampy this morning because I was crowded in bed last night and stuck in the same spot all night.

Cass does the stomachache thing too. It can mean she's tired, doesn't want to do something, is apprehensive, needs to go to the bathroom, or in rare circumstances--actually has a stomachache.

Last night Cass read her first real book to me by herself. She was so proud of herself.
I thought I might get away with no 100 days foolishness but Cass needs to make a shirt. I was suggested simple designs to put on with puffy paints (stars, circles, whatever). MH suggests rainbows. I gave him the stare and thought he can be the creative master behind that if he wants to.

Skittles. Get 100 skittles and make a rainbow with those. Or just 100 different colored dot stickers and make 1 rainbow.

Also morning. I prentend to be supermom today. I had some errands and groceries, made four huge lasagnes, one for my sister with the 2mo whose husband is working abroad for a few days, one for my grandma since my granddad isn’t doing well, one for my parents who are helping out my sister & my grandma and one for ourselves for Friday since we’re going to a concert and it’s handy if dinner’s ready. Cleaned the kitchen afterwards, had coffee with a friend, school run & made the okapi book with ds. I’m exhausted. Dh told me to run an bath and that he’d deal with mealtime. I ain’t saying no to that!

Morning all.
It's been a long couple days, B is going through something and I've got to get the the root of it so we can get through it together. He is almost paralyzed when it comes to making decisions, it's causing a lot of crying and self doubt. He goes through this every once in a while and I know we'll get through it but damn he is taking ALL my patience right now.
