All done. I believe I heard that everything looked normal. They did some biopsies and will have the results of those next week. Now I'm sitting in the car waiting while mh picks up Cadence.

Anyone watch Gilfriend’s Guide to Divorce? It’s a Bravo show, but I started it last week on Netflix because I needed a light, zone-out type show. The main character, Abby, is so insufferable. I’ve watched it a while ago, she only gets worse. I was happy when it was over.

Woof. No. It was horrible. How did anyone post-1995 think it was acceptable to have a laugh track?

I probably watched 2-3 episodes into the 2nd season before I gave up on it.

Help me with a tv rut
I finished Sex Education the other day and am longing for more. That and Euphoria are my two favorite shows. I clearly enjoy teenage drama. Not that it ended I have a void. Dh and I are watching Good Girls together but I need my own thing.
Do I go back to watching The Good Place? I don’t know what season I was on 1 or 2 when they basically went back and forth and then were getting a decision by Maya Rudolph’s character on what place they could go. It was getting a bit boring but I know it was on forever and with good reviews so do I keep plugging along?
Oh and I started the current season of Maisel but it was annoying. Do I keep trucking along?
I do need to watch Grace and Frankies final season but it’s also boring and I only watch it for the one daughters fashion and sarcasm at this point.
We are also hate watching the final season of Shameless and Power. So I feel like I need something to look forward to and 90 Day Fiancé and Married at First Sight are only once a week.

wedding did you watch Shrill? The 2nd season just came out. Easy to binge since they are only 30 minute episodes. LOVED Sex Education.

wedding: Old school shows —Greek was really good. I love You’re the Worst. tgrimes started it but I don’t know her current thoughts on it. it just finished it last season and I’m avoiding watching it because I don’t want it to be over. I liked The Good Wife a lot. It’s finished so you can start and finish. I think The Good Place is terrific, but I don’t want to binge it. Doll Face is cute, but only one season. The Mindy Project is cute and I love her fashion. Atypical on Netflix has 3 or 4 seasons and is excellent.

New dishwasher is installed, praise the lord. The guy who came is the owner of the company and was so personable. I picked his brain about appliance brands, nice to talk to someone who has good insight and isn’t trying to sell you something. We are headed out on our play date when B gets home. What did he recommend for brands? He said his favorite of the higher end (but still accessible) lines is Bosch and Bosch's even higher-end line, Thermidor. For mainstream/moderate, he likes Kitchenaid. This is all in terms of most-reliable/least prone to issues. eta: vino yeah, he says Samsung needs to stick to TVs (after we told him about the Samsung fridge at our last house that died after 3 years).

They are also one of the only ones that makes the unique size oven/micro wall unit her kitchen needs. She recently replaced an old Bosch dw with a KitchenAid and raves about it, too. I allowed myself to be seduced by Samsung when we bought for our last house; we had no issues before we sold but I've heard a lot of horror stories since.

Got my taxes filed, spent a billion dollars on new carseats, bought S’s birthday invites and my niece’s birthday gifts. No more spending for me. We got the other high back booster I had ordered last weekend, today, and H is so excited to use it. I told her DH would take her with him to the gas station to fill up my car. It’s the little things.

wedding we liked season 3 of Mrs. Maisel, just finished it in the last week or two. I'd give it a chance past the first couple episodes. We're currently watching Bosch on Prime and it's good for a detective/crime show. Based on book series by Michael Connelly. Recently we also really liked Goliath with Billy Bob Thornton. Not light overall but has a lot of humor. Those might be more 'couples' shows vs. something just for you, tho.

Oof, it’s been a day. Unlike tallb’s K, L was up 5 times between midnight and 3. And he still only naps for 30 minutes at a time unless he’s on my lap, so I’ve been so unproductive lately. Friday means pizza and a movie. Since Dh is gone, I tried to be healthy and make a caulipower pizza. I’ve had them a few times and thought they were good, but this one was pretty terrible. Neither kid ate theirs so I’m sure they’ll be asking for a snack soon. I also opted for sparkling water instead of wine.... but the wine might still happen after bedtime. Kids are watching the lion king now, and L is trying to contort himself on my lap to see the tv. I’m ready for all the kids to be in bed like, now.

The playdate this afternoon went well; B and his buddy are so compatible, and C and their 3 1/2 y.o. girl hugged at the end (while wearing Anna & Elsa costumes and tiaras, natch ) The mom and I were able to sit and chat in relative peace. I think we're going to have them over in the next week or so to make Valentine's cookies.

slenle that was us the past two weeks, so I feel you! Hope tonight is better...and that he doesn't mind cauliflower. I have flashbacks to eating cauliflower pizza when j was a newborn and still haven't recovered..I haven't had broccoli or cauliflower for months! This also had me go with pizza for lunch instead of my preferred kale salad from sweetgreen. No wonder I'm hanging onto 10 extra lbs😂

Hello from a nice quiet hotel room in PA. DD was so excited to leave after school but after both my sister and my sitter had emergencies that lead me to pick up 2 extra kids from school and DH decided we needed to refinance both mortgages (rates hit 2.99 today if anyone is considering buying/refinancing) in the 12 minutes I had before hitting the road, we finally made it relatively on time. The girls swam and we went out to the slowest dinner ever and then swam again and now we are relaxing in our rooms. We have to be at the gym by 8 am for the meet. Good thing the coach mentioned over dinner the meet next weekend that no one told us about or we wouldn’t have known. Of course DH will be in California and DS has a game and then there are the little boys. I think I need to take on 2 sister wives by next weekend.

I hear the same about Kitchenaid. It's the brand of our fridge and dishwasher. Our fridge was bought through Sears scratch and dent outlet...we found out it was 3 years old when we bought it. Had we had it brand new, I dont know that we would have had AS many issues as we have had. But every repair person who has come out, has said that Kitchenaid is one of the best.
I do love my dishwasher. Its quiet AF and does a good job. It was money well spent, since it sits 10" from my living room.

Good to know about the KitchenAid appliances. We’re still working with what came with the house and although they work very well I don’t like the look of them anymore. We need to do some renovations in the kitchen eventually, so I will be on the lookout. When the time comes, I am considering getting rid of my dishwasher and putting in either a snack fridge or a warming drawer. It’ll be two years that we’ve been here in April and we’ve used it twice.
