chrisy01 that breaks my heart. Did he acknowledge that he didn't do the right thing? I'm a sucker and probably would rescue the toys from the trash and let him earn them back. Hoping he has a better day tomorrow Sort of. I can’t rescue them anymore. He keeps being naughty at school and at home. If we don’t stick with it, he’ll just keep doing it. I’m sad for him but I did convince him to throw out the one we can replace. Maybe I’ll go rescue it and hide it on the garage....

What did they say it was exactly? I know calicivirus can cause ulcers but I’ve don’t recall them smelling. They feel like it's from some sort of mouth trauma or ingestion of something he shouldn't have. But, there was nothing in his x-ray and we don't know what it could possibly have been. ETA: its the sore on/below his nose that smells. It leaks pus and fluid and is really gross. Did they prescribe antibiotics for the sore? Sounds like it might be infected.

No, or at least not that I know of. Since mh went to the appt I don't know what all was discussed. I spoke with a different vet from the office the next day and she only talked about pain meds. What the prescribed is for coating his mouth and throat.

Y’all. Okay PDQ
My SIL just texted me asking if we had the daycare throw away undies when M had poop accidents or keep him in pull-ups until he was poop trained.
I told her what our daycare did. She texts back that the daycare sent home a dirty pair of undies with the turd in tact. She was pissed. WTAF??
My niece is 3.5 and they deal with constipation, so potty training has been a rollercoaster for them.
I told her I would have taken a picture of it and emailed the director saying that she would like to discuss THIS SHIT.

What in the world is going on here? Porn at the mechanics and daycare wanting parents to transport turds? This is a thread!!! Wow. I’m sorry about them pushing the date back, tallb. Super irritating. Poor L, chrisy01. He really is a sweet boy, he’ll grow into dealing with his emotions but right now it’s hard. I’m sorry you’re going through that. Do they ever make a point to give him movement breaks? He has so much physical energy, I can’t help but feel like if he had an extra opportunity to do something like that he might be able to exercise better impulse control?

cagoldi if he finishes first the teacher gives him tasks that involve movement. Like getting out things for the next part of class or he’s even sweeper up the room (apparently his favorite). But this frustration came from not knowing the word he was trying to read. During this reading time each student had a part of a book to read. L had a new word in his part and was not getting sounding it out. He has struggled during read on your own time but that didn’t involve the other kids. I think he was embarrassed. Since c picked him up I’m not getting as many details I normally do. I’ll talk with the teacher tomorrow to understand everything. But I do know that some of his rough moments are from having too much energy. We are working on it. It’s just a slow process.

lahdeedah that is very strange. I have gotten underwear with skid marks in a plastic sack back after accidents, but that’s it.

lahdeedah we have had some pretty gross underwear sent home and we have also had Hannah Andersson underwear thrown out (that I was a bit grouchy about). Regardless, I give daycare teachers a pass bc that is literally the worst and I don't even want to deal with it, and they definitely aren't getting paid enough to deal with it. Diapers are one thing since easy to clean, but once it's in underwear it's just survival to get the kid out of it and clean without gagging. If she wants them to toss it, I'd just tell the teacher.

wedding I want to know what your H said after you told him. tgrimes that’s awful. I can’t imagine that being the norm. It was over text and he said “yeah that place is wicked sketchy!” He worked late last night so I didn’t see him. Since I wasn’t hurt it will become a weird/funny story.

Eta: I see you answered this. I would push for antibiotics since it is infected. See if they can give him Convenia which is an injectable that is good for 14 days so you don’t have to give him another oral med. given the location of it I’m surprised they didn’t give something. The mouth ulcer thing is odd. I would talk to the vet more about that or if you bring him in have them recheck to see if there’s any improvement.

I get sending dirty underwear home, but not with a whole turd in tact. She said it wasn’t even soft or mushy. Drop that in the toilet, then send the undies home. I think it’s their job to deal with things like that. When she first started PT last year, she had a major blowout and the daycare just threw away the leggings she wore and SIL was not happy about that. They weren’t expensive, but a quality pair I guess.

wedding, OMG!!!! That's insane! @ladeedah, ew. I mean if it's just a mushy mess and the parent didn't say to throw out the underwear then ok I guess... but something that they could just roll into the toilet? No.
