I’m taking C to a sneak peek at our “new” ride. It’s open in FL already but ours opens soon. I caught the family cold.

Morning. Quiet day over over. A friend stopped by with croissants from a really good bakery in the city, so the healthy eating went out the window already 🤦🏼♀️. I packed away all the Christmas gear, got some fresh flowers, so the house feels lighter again. The kids are playing on there own with our asking for my help 354 times, so I’m scared to move.

I have the house all to myself. Praise be. We have overnight guests coming later tonight, so I want to clean the floors and need to do a bit of picking up and putting away. Nothing else on the agenda today. I need to figure out what’s for dinner.

Morning! Today is infusion day for S so she’s home from school and we are waiting for the nurse to arrive. I’m praying she is hydrated enough for her to get a vein. She’s not drinking well for me 🤔. And she’s a tough stick on a good day.

I'm home. School informed us on Monday that today, their first day back, was the 80th day of school and lets all dress in 80s fashion!  You had 2.5 weeks to give us that information and instead you waited until 2 days before. Seriously? I did what I could, it wasn't much and it may have included bright blue halloween makeup(paint) on her eyelids cause she wanted to wear makeup and it was all this non-makeup wearing mama had. When they give you 2 days you throw your kid's hair into a side pony and call it good. Then we arrived at school and only the teachers were dressed up because all the other parents said eff you, just take my kids it's been 2 and a half freaking weeks! Scheduled Dicken's orthopedic specialist appointment for next Tuesday. This kitten is getting expensive fast! LOL Good thing he's cute. |

peachsmama hope you got better sleep last night and that MJ is feeling better. We slept more, still on the couch. For some reason she hates the bed all of a sudden. But she woke up covered in a rash. But she slept in just her diaper so I'm waiting to see if it's just from being up against me. Thank you for checking on her. Shes fine all day, just extra clingy. But at night, she's impossible to settle. |

I hurt from sleeping in whatever position I can get in to keep her asleep lol. My neck and shoulders mostly. Need to try and get some work done today. And my kitchen is a disaster. Other than that, just doing some laundry.

That's awesome lahdeedah! Sounds like you've got this! I hope so. The manager texted me about the position being posted Monday and he called like 3 hours after I finished the application yesterday, but my stupid phone silenced his call because it was an unknown number. Good thing I was on my phone today when he tried to call and I immediately saw a missed call and called it right back. I turned that feature off right after I got off the phone. I love it for those spam calls, but I don’t want it to block every unknown call in case someone tries to call me about the kids while they are at school. |
