Yes it is definitely skewing boy heavy right now! I'll have 3 boys too danib and I have definitely been through my feelings about it since I've always wanted a daughter. I have a friend who is having a baby girl next month and her shower is this coming weekend, and I love buying baby girl stuff and I get sad I won't get to do that for myself. BUT I remind myself that all that cute crap only lasts so long and there are just as many challenges to parenting girls as there are boys! Another benefit of having twin boys is that I don't have to worry about splitting them into separate rooms earlier, lol.

Yay for a great scan, danib! I get the disappointment though. I think of all of us on this board who know what we’re having, they are ALL boys, right? I think that includes me, willow, hangry, ttcbabyj, who am I missing? Yep, right now the spreadsheet is very blue with a couple of green.

I have a friend due in March that’s team green (I’m guessing she’s having a girl) and one in May that is having a girl. I feel like I’m surrounded by girls. My guess is that’s what I’m having too.

Oh neat! I know two people due after me so it remains to be seen if there will be any girls. If I had to guess what I’m having, I’d say boy.

One of the other moms from DS1’s kindergarten class is expecting her 4th kid in May, and it’s a girl after 3 boys.

I feel like I just skipped over your post and was commenting on other things. That’s what I meant. Sometimes I get my mind wrapped up in things and disregard things I don’t mean to.

I feel like my a/s is so far away. It’s not until the 29th. I guess I’d rather have it a little further along than earlier, but I’m getting antsy.
I’m beginning to feel like it’s a girl but I don’t know if that’s just because we have 3 girls combined already so it’s just like, why wouldn’t it be another? Lol.

I’ve been lurking for awhile and this seems like the perfect time to jump in, if there’s room for 1 more. I’m 16+6 and found out it’s our 3rd boy! I have an Aug14 and Sept17. 👋🏼 Definitely some feels about (most likely) never having a daughter. It’s kind of nice to read that there’s others with similar feelings.

I’ll admit that even though I already have a girl, I was, and still am, a little disappointed #3 is a boy. Love this guy no matter what, but I had just pictured us having a boy and 2 girls. And my girl so far has been so much easier than my boy. I know this is likely completely personality but it’s hard to separate gender from that.
It’s crazy how many boys are here though! And I’m still in awe how many of us are on child number 3 or higher! There are so few people in my area that have more than 2 kids.

hangry in my experience, baby and toddler girls are easier. I hear that boys are easier when they get older. Also same on the high number kids. I only know a couple people IRL with 4 kids and not that many with 3.

I know a lot of people with 3+ kids here. One of my friends just had her 5th kid (which is way too many for me).

I know lots of people from back home, suburban area, that have 3. I’ve been told here, on more than one occasion, how crazy we are for having a third. I don’t know anyone here with 4 kids.

I’m one of five girls. The idea of having a 14 year old girl scares the living shit out of me.

I work with teenagers. As much as I long for a daughter, teenage girls terrify me in ways that boys do not. Edit: I should say "being RESPONSIBLE TOR teenage girls terrify me" lol
