Nutrition, fitness, diets, emotional/psychological health. Whatever.
Anything you are looking to implement (or leave behind)?

I’m a mess. I’ve made so many tweaks to things, in a pretty haphazard fashion, over the last few years in an effort to control my chronic conditions and I have no idea what is/is not working.
It’s clear I need to be a lot more methodical about this, so I’m going to do a Whole 30 and go from there.

I need to get back to my morning workouts. I started the school year doing great and once C got sick, I couldn’t get back into the routine. Also, my eating has been terrible and only my stretchy pants fit but the elastic has caused my hips to break out in a horrible rash so that’s motivation to fit back into real pants. I

I'm here. I'm going to slowly add goals for the year. My first one is just a daily stretch or few minutes of a work out. Just to get into a routine again. It's been so long since I did any exercise.

It was hard to keep up with the goals I set for last year with so much change happening. I just got really lazy these last few months in all areas of my life and I feel it physically and emotionally.
For now, my thoughts are all over the place. I need to take the time to brain dump and specify what I would like to work on in 2020.
I bought a pretty initial notebook from Anthropologie that I plan to keep with me and use to write my ideas/goals/thoughts/lists for this year. I also started the book Girl , Wash Your Face in hopes that it will motivate me to adjust my mental headspace going in to the new year.

I am looking to start back at a BBM series. I've done 5.0 and liked it. What the next best one, 8.0? kim22 I know you've done a few of them, what are your thoughts?

I started LIIFT4 this week. I was halfway through when I got pregnant a year ago. I really enjoyed it, so I’m excited to get back into it again. Dh and I are going to Miami in April, so that’s my motivation to lose the baby weight and tone up.
Trying to clean up my diet too. I surprisingly didn’t do too much damage over the holidays but there’s a lot of room for improvement.

slenle TTMA LIIFT4, it's beachbody, right? You have to sign up to have access to the workouts?

It’s $100 for the year and you have access to all the workouts so if you can switch it up whenever you want. I like this one because it’s real-time, so there is a new workout everyday, no repeating the same one. There is core work at the end of each one and hiit in most of the workouts to get your heartrate up. And it’s only 4 days a week.

I will always love 5.0 since that was the one I lost 20 pounds on. I have done all of 6.0 and 7.0 and about 1/2 of 4.0. I just picked up on day 37 of 8.0 yesterday. 8.0 no longer includes a cool down in the 20 minutes so you need a few extra minutes. 9.0 comes out next week if you want to wait a few days. I didn’t really like 6.0 but any of the others are good.

I'm on day 3 of no/low carb. I'm hoping the headaches subside soon because this shit is hard! But after weighing myself the other day and realizing I had gained back everything I lost...I need to be better.
I've ran the past 2 days, think I'll get on the elliptical this morning since it's so cold this morning and H is leaving soon.

Trying to use the space to hold myself accountable. Since January 2, I’ve been doing some upper body free weight workouts every day, and this morning I started a very short barre work out. It was tough, but I liked it and I will definitely try to fit it in again tomorrow. I am struggling with keeping my eating schedule intact but if I mess up, I’m not calling it a free-for-all for the rest of the day but rather making better portion choices at the next meal.

I'm hoping that makes it easier to find the work outs and stuff. Its $9 a month but you get a week free.

Do you use My Fitness Pal? That's what I started using last week...it definitely makes twice before I put something in my mouth. I was talking to my husband about MFP yesterday, via text, and kept saying 'everything that goes in my mouth.' Which obviously ended up with some interesting conversation about man parts...

My friend started using it last year when she started a boot camp and now obsessively tracks her calories to the tee. She puts literally everything she eats into MFP. The boot camp was only 6 weeks, but she continues to be obsessive about counting her calories daily and still lost weight without working out.

Right now I’m just trying to be consistent. As long as I go to the gym 3-4 days a week and get at least 30 minutes in, I’ll call it good. This month I just plan to do a lot of cardio to build some endurance and stamina. Next month I may start adding in some classes for strength building and toning.

I have to plate food, sit to eat, and end it there. I typically go back for additional helpings.
