I love barre. Someday I’d like to get a membership to the local barre3. I am not really working on my fitness right now but I probably should do something.

trtlcrzy I think? the PB app subscription has a pregnancy series. Not sure if that interests you. I know I did absolutely nothing when I was with child. Looking back, I probably should have worked on at least a little bit of stretching and walking everyday. It’s just so hard with all the changes your body is going through already.

Alright ladies, we are over a week into the new year. How is everyone doing?
I started my attempt at doing better last Thursday, so a week. I stupidly (or smart) weighed myself at night and have lost 10 pounds. I cut most carbs and sugars. I drink about 120oz of water daily. And I've been working out every day, either 40 minutes on the elliptical or 3.4 miles of jogging/walking. I feel so much better and things fit better!

W30 is going great, I have the Tiger Blood!🐯 As for weight loss, I doubt there’s much yet, but my abs are getting flatter. I don’t find that surprising because it happens every time I cut grains. My elbow is bothering me again so I’m dialing it back more than I like. Planning to go for a jog after work.

I’m on week 2 of lift4. I just picked up 15lb dumbbells to start using for some lifts. I seem to be starting our stronger this time... probably from lugging this chunky baby around all day.
I’m taking an extra day off today. It’s shoulder day and I have volleyball tonight so didn’t want to be dead for that. I haven’t played volleyball in 9 months, we have a double header, and we moved up to the class A league. I might die.

3 days of YouTube videos (2 barre and one kickboxing) and I e been doing a mani free weight and push-up session. My favorite salad was on sale so I’ve eaten that with a protein each night!

I’ve been a big, fat failure. With MH away, C sick, and the situation at work, I’m trying to give myself some grace and I’m hoping for a fresh start on Monday.

I started the 21 day fix last Wednesday and haven't missed a workout, last night I started it at 8.45pm...so late but I had laundry going so I knew that i'd stay up so i could either sit my ass on the couch and probably snack or work out and I chose work out. It was a good one too!
My plan is to do the 21 days and then see if I just want to repeat that or do something else. I have been eating well and during grocery shops I'm just not getting the junk, been having my dandelion tea and a few prunes here and there so i dont get bloated...gross but whatever.

My nutrition and exercise game are 🔥🔥🔥 right now, but the focus on adding stretching, connection, etc. plus a weekly wellness practice seems fun. It can seem like a lot, I guess, but I’m used to calorie tracking and it isn’t more labor intensive than that, I don’t think? IDK, we’ll see how it goes.

Are you doing the meal plan too? I did 2.5 cycles and had lost about 20lbs (pre surgery days) but the food was so time consuming and hard to stick with. I really enjoyed the workouts though and liked that they mixed things up.

I'm down 4 lbs. It's not much, but I haven't been doing much so I'm not expecting huge numbers or anything.
I'm off soda, been watching my portions. I've even been having salad on pizza nights. 😭😭
I need to lose 2 more pounds by the 13th to meet my dietbet goal.

I have set a goal- up 30 (credits), down 20 (pounds) by the end of the school year. Last Saturday I ran a mile then added an extra .2 everyday on Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday and I also did the rowing machine and some weights. Then C got sick again and stopped sleeping again and I’m back off the wagon.

My wellness focus right now is psychological. I tend to focus on others when stuff goes down and in the process suffer myself. There’s some major stuff going on with my family and I am working really hard to focus on me and digesting this instead of focusing on the other family members affected. It’s been a challenge but DH has been super supportive and my therapist and bestie are helping me through it. I’m not ready to share yet but will at some point in the private board. Everyone is healthy and well though.

I’m through week 5 of liift4 and it’s going great. I can definitely tell I’m getting a lot stronger.
I’m trying to get a little cardio in on the rest days. I’m not a runner at all, so I usually walk/jog on the treadmill while watching a show. Yesterday, I ran a full mile without stopping which sounds super lame, but it’s been a long time since I’ve done that so I was happy. I also realized my shoes are suuuuper old and not at all good for running so I ordered some new ones last night and am excited to try them out.
Also, scale hit a new (post baby) low today, so only about 5 lbs to pre Baby weight. Hoping to make it 10 by Miami in April.

slenle running a mile without stopping is AWESOME! It takes me awhile to get to that when I stop running consistently. If anyone needs good running shoes, Brooks keep showing up on Zulily for great prices. They are the best shoes I've ever had.
