nam2013 Gah! Adorable! I like the name. I always think of Fox Mulder. I was a big X-Files fan as a kid. I loved that show. vino you the office MVP. I got a ton of cards yesterday. Cass had fun opening them and looking at all the kids. I love doing this every year.

My loser BiL sent the kids Christmas gifts and wanted them to open them early. It was the first time he has sent them anything and it was nice that he did it, but only god knows what possessed him to include a shit ton of shredded tin foil in the boxes.  It was basically tin foil confetti and made a huge mess when they were opening their gifts. And why tin foil over just regular paper I don't know. I found something worse than dick glitter. |

I was super productive yesterday and I'm going to try to keep that energy up today. I finished the scarf I was knitting for my mom last night so I'll wrap it tonight.

One of the houses in our neighborhood has practically every square inch of their very small front yard filled with inflatables. It's so tacky and I absolutely love it. They are my heroes. I needed someone to fill the void that was left in my heart after the neighbors who displayed a giant inflatable Jack Skellington from Halloween through Christmas moved away.

Poor X woke up really fussy, turns out he developed a terrible diaper rash over night. I’m keeping him home so I can slather on the rash cream and do baking soda baths if necessary.
Obviously, I am not going to get anything done today. Story of my life lately.

nam2013 So sweet! They already had to call our HR Manager (who they let go with the purchase) back in to help our. She's charging them a nice hourly wage. And most of the office staff was supposed to be going to a group lunch, but I'd much rather spend my lunch hour with her than our entire damn office. I hope it's like $200 an hour. No.  Although she should be getting more than she is. I think some people are realizing letting her go was a terrible decision. |

I'm at work. My friend and I ordered Chinese for lunch and we plan to stalk everyone's current salaries at lunch because they all just got updated.
