Good morning!
2 more days left until I'm off until January 2nd...I think I can make it.
My boss bought the Jeep Grand Cherokee I want yesterday. I'm excited to go sit in it this morning and check it out.

I’m on the shuttle to work. I have the IDGAF driver who stays a hot second at the shuttle stops then zooms away. It’s great when I get on it since I don’t like waiting for them to go.
I also I am suppose to get a work headshot today in front of one of our iconic buildings but it’s windy so we may have to do it another day

C and I are sitting in the car outside speech so I can put on my makeup 😬🙈 FWP alert: I am so tired of these twice-weekly appts...praying B will ‘graduate’ by the end of the school year. Taking C for a haircut today and then I need to start doing laundry for our trip (we leave Sat). |

So we have our Christmas lunch or whatever today and a rep from Women of Pader is coming to show us jewelry. Just got this from old man boss:
Just a reminder to all the ladies: please select one of the bracelets / necklaces / etc that the Women of Pader will be showing at lunch today as my Christmas gift to you; Felix Navidad!

Morning! klong11 😂 vino YUM. I want. I’m sitting outside daycare waiting for M2 to finish his breakfast bar. We went from 80s in FL to 20s this morning. Nope, don’t like that. I have a few errands and laundry to do today. I also need to see what’s left on my Christmas shopping so I can finish that up between now and the weekend. I know I need to finalize teacher gifts since the kids’ parties are tomorrow. |

This is me today and Friday--just those little last-minute things. I got the bus drivers Dunkin gift cards and I did drop off C's teacher gifts yesterday, but still need to get something for B's two. The room mom sent out lists she had them compile of their 'favorite things' but that almost makes it harder b/c now I'm afraid of messing up! |

Sorry, I'm laughing klong11. At my first job out of college, we got a very nice cash bonus, but then everyone was also gifted 2 fleece pullovers with the company logo (ostensibly one for you and one for your SO). At the time I was 23 and single, so I ended up with 2 L or XL pullovers (not my size)...then I lost my job 8 months later when the recession began. My mom unearthed those things from a closet a year or two ago and was like, "Do you want these?" Uhhh no, I'm good. |

The office got new phones and the IT dude, who is an idiot, is giving a tutorial on them this morning. I can just google if I have an issue, which I'm pretty sure is what he does. My office manager seemed pissed that I wasn't going. The manual is literally at my fingertips, I don't need a lesson! I've already answered a voicemail question for the receptionist, so clearly, I know what I'm doing.
ETA: plus he was having his 11 year old son install the damn things the other day.

I got an email from a nurse in immunology. After a bunch of back and forth, our appointment is Jan 16 but they're putting in lab orders so we can get it done before the end of the year.

Morning. S is at her last day of school before Christmas break. They’re having their party today and I’m glad I’m not helping because I am tired. I need to double check that I have all the ingredients but I think I’m going to make the cutout cookies this afternoon so we can decorate tomorrow. Tonight the girls have their last dance class for a few weeks.

Also hi! I want cinnamon buns... yum! I visited my sister today in Amsterdam, it took me over an hour to get there, I was there for an hour and then over hour to get back home to pick up the ds from school... but at least I got some baby snuggles! I made soup for dinner tonight but Dh had a crappy day at work so I went to the city and got lots of goodies. Afterwards I baked cookies with the kids. I’m ready for bed  . |

nam2013 So sweet! They already had to call our HR Manager (who they let go with the purchase) back in to help our. She's charging them a nice hourly wage. And most of the office staff was supposed to be going to a group lunch, but I'd much rather spend my lunch hour with her than our entire damn office.
